We loved the location of this property. It's walking distance to Water Safari. It's a little further to walk to Town, but not much, and my family made the walk.

I wanted a quiet weekend in the beautiful Adirondacks since I am an avid hiker. LedgeRock was the perfect location with trails everywhere from flat scenic views to hardcore rock scrambling. You could literally be at many trailheads within 10 minutes. The home is gorgeous and comfortable with a cozy glass atrium that overlooks the lake. The town of Old Forge has a great vibe too. I would definitely go back anytime.

We try to make it to Ledgerock each year, and were grateful to spend some time this past week. This spot is always consistently wonderful; the dock, the atrium, the quiet, as well as the proximity to Old Forge. It never disappoints! Joshua is a wonderful host that is very communicative throughout the process. The space is always clean with most basics that are needed. Looking forward to a return next year.

This house was spotless, very comfortable, had everything we needed and best of all was the beautiful view of the lake. The proximity to the village and McCauley mountain were a plus for us too, since we were traveling with 3 small kids with the older two enjoying some quality ski time. Joshua was so easy to communicate with and made everything run smoothly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Rustic chic on the water! There is no better place to be, a true slice of Heaven. A few minute walk to Old Forge yet very private nestled among tall pines. Impeccably maintained with all the comforts of home. Our family has stayed at Ledgerock for the last several years. Each year brings tangible upgrades such as air conditioning and a home generator to ensure that nothing interferes with your trip. Our host Joshua goes out of his way to make sure memories are made. The home has it all from the complete kitchen, tv, internet and breathtaking water views from inside or outside. Outside is a two tiered deck for a hilltop view or a few steps to the huge dock that will accommodate your whole family. Simply the best!

Winter Paradise
We had such a lovely stay at Ledgerock. We were fortunate to get a little snow and see the beauty of the area. The home is amazing and is perfect for both a short or longer getaway from it all. has beautify views over the water (currently frozen) but is also very convenient to town. We did some cooking as well and found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare a large meal. The owner is great at communicating and checking in on us during our stay. I couldn't recommend Ledgerock more.

Joshua and family have always provided such a wonderful stay at this property. It’s clean, located close to town, but allows for privacy and relaxation. The waterfront and views are also a strong selling point. We loved our stay and plan to return next year.

First family vacation post-COVID
We had a wonderful visit to Ledgerock in Old Forge. Joshua was great to work with, the property is beautiful and in the perfect location. It was clean and well cared for, with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers on the deck. The only thing that would have made it better is if we had brought kayaks or SUPs with us so we could enjoy the lake a bit more.

Amazing property location and view
This property just keeps getting better. We have stayed here before for family trips. The owners keep making improvements to the property. This year it was newly painted and new bedroom furniture. We love the location because it is on the water but we can also walk into town very easily. The house itself has everything you could imagine which came in helpful this year because we had many meals at home and they had all of the cooking pots and pans that one would need. The owners are great and very responsive to questions. We look forward to returning again later this summer for a longer stay if more dates become available.

Adirondack Gem Amongst the Rocks
I was looking for both relaxation and an adventure with a girlfriend of mine who enjoys hiking as much as I do. This property gave me exactly what I needed. Peace and quiet along the channel where I could spend mornings from the glass atrium watching the fog lift and then head out for how ever many miles of hiking my legs and lungs were longing for. Perfect, beautiful, comfortable, haven of a home. I can't wait to go back.

It doesn't get any better than Ledgerock! The property (interior and exterior) is stunning. You have immediate access to water and immediate access to town. Joshua was great to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are happy!

The comfort of home away from home
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautifully situated on Old Forge Pond with a spectacular view! It is tucked off the main road (rt 28) and is quiet and secluded enough, but within walking distance into Old Forge. The house is clean with modern conveniences. I was concerned about internet connectivity as I needed to do some work while there, but my concerns were for naught. The house is equipped with high speed internet without any interruptions in service. It is a little challenging finding the entrance to the driveway, especially at night. There are a few landmarks that can help you. Look for the big rock, it will help your know where the driveway gravel is off of the road! I highly recommend this property!

This property is so lovely and the perfect way to relax and unwind. Josh was the perfect host and took care of anything we could have needed. The dock and the patio outside were perfect for morning coffee. This is a gem of a rental and we cannot wait to go back.

Great location close to town. Good size driveway and parking lot for trucks/trailers. House was clean and in good condition and the owner was very easy to work with. Snowmobile trail access right across the street. Highly recommend!

Lovely home
As previous visitors have said, this is a lovely home, very clean; great location on the Fulton chain of lakes and a short walk to town; owner is very attentive and responsive. Kitchen is well equipped; WiFi worked well with no problems. We very much enjoyed our stay there and exploring the area. We were there in the fall, and our visit was wonderfully peaceful and beautiful.

Absolutely Dreamy
We had the most enjoyable time at Ledgerock and would go again and again. The space was impeccably clean, very spacious for our family of 4, and the perfect location to hit up the town. We had everything we needed in the house and so much available to us outside by the dock too. Joshua was always available to answer any questions (including all of them that were in the messages he sent that I asked again because I forgot 😬) without frustration. This was even more appreciated given the fact that he was in a different country!

Joshua and Sandra offer a beautiful home to enjoy the best of the Adirondacks: an idyllic lakefront, and a short drive to wonderful hikes for all abilities. Even though you are a short walk from town, your residence is very quiet. The home itself is modern and well-kept; the pictures are very accurate. Joshua could not have been more gracious or easier to communicate with, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our best Old Forge rental ever
Our stay at Josh's place was truly blissful. The outdoor space is large, with a wonderful dock. The location is perfect--no need to drive to the Enchanted Forest or into town. Yet the waterfront setting is peaceful, with all day sun on the dock, and lots of shade as well. There is even a small beach. We were 3 adults and 2 kids. We brought a couple of airbeds and with 2 full baths, the house was perfect for us. Josh is always on email and responds quickly to questions.

Great vacation property
When we arrived at Ledgerock we were totally impressed. This is a first class immaculate property. The kitchen had all the comforts of home. The view was impressive. The dock was perfect for our boat. The communication from Joshua was totally unexpected. He made sure that we had everything that we needed. He was a text away for any issues that might arise. There were none. It is located next to town and within walking distance. The waterway was perfect for our needs. We were able to boat from the dock all the way to Inlet. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a very comfortable immaculate vacation spot.

This property lived up to its description!
This house is roomy, comfortable and very well maintained. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you would need to make your meals. It sits down in off the main road nestled in the pine trees with a beautiful view of the water. We came to snowmobile and ice fish . The location was perfect while just being minutes from town and having trail access right across the road. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a winter get away. Lastly Joshua, the property owner, was very attentive and easy to get in touch with and answered what few questions we had immediately.

Perfect Getaway Escape
We went up this past July with our teenage kids not knowing what to expect. A few friends recommended the area as a much more relaxed Adirondack town with a great vibe.
The home was modern, meticulously clean and located in a great proximal location in walking distance to the center of town. It was close enough but yet far enough that we felt perfectly secluded away , while the house is set back by the water so we could not hear any street noise.
Each room was perfectly sized, ( not small and cramped) very modern and clean and the bathrooms had great water pressure to shower.
Master bedroom downstairs was quite large with very comfortable king bed and dressers and there was an adjoining washer dryer right next door. Everything about the home was cozy and inviting. Even the internet connection was great keeping out kids content. We loved the lovely decor and fireplace but had more fun with the outdoor firepit by the doc.
Waking up in the morning and enjoying our coffee out on the deck was so relaxing and serene. It was our highlight to spend time away from our busy lives by such a peaceful picturesque lake while having a comfortable home steps away to rest in.
If you like Kayaking and outdoor hikes this place is for you. The restaurants are good and make sure not to miss out on a place called Ozzies for breakfast or lunch.
Every summer we usually rent a home at Lake George or Lake Placid but now we found our new little secret escape. This by far was one of our best vacation stays in a long time and we will be back at this home next summer/fall for sure.
