Large Family House On The Lake
Lakehouse grand, beau et confortable, idéal pour une grande famille mais aussi chaleureux pour un couple. Située sur une île du magnifique lac Upper Greenwood, cette maison de lac unique offre un refuge privé pour profiter de la nature et de moments agréables avec la famille et les amis. La maison offre une vue magnifique sur le lac directement depuis plusieurs parties de la propriété, y compris le salon, la chambre principale, la salle de bain principale et le patio pour barbecue. Il possède son propre quai avec canoë et kayak disponible pour les clients (inclus).

The lake is beautiful but the house was not very clean. And a little run down. The house has what you need but a little soap and water would go a long way!!

There was an Amazon box with cancelled camera in interior room facing hot tub. This was concerning. The home was well appointed and had all amenities included for stay. Master bedroom had used wash clothes and soaps and sink need to be cleaned…just an oversight from prior guest. It was over all very clean. Nice neighborhood and if can address hidden cameras in hot tub area consider staying.

A group of ladies all in desperate need of an escape found Jose's home to be easy to get to, clean, well stocked and just what we needed to gather and relax from nibbling around the kitchen island, crashing on the couch in front of the fire or soaking in the hot tub or master bath jetted tub. Beds really comfy. Sheets, blankets, towels clean and well stocked for larger groups. Jose remained a message away for any questions or needs and provided easy check in info including double checking we were aware of slightly tricky but manageable parking. I've stayed at many VRBO listings, Jose's and his home are 5 stars. Did not want to leave!

Great place for a weekend away! Plenty of space and tools in the kitchen for cooking and storage. Bedrooms all good sizes. Beautiful views. Our host Jose was super helpful and a pleasure to rent from. Stores are near enough if you need to run out and grab anything

We stayed at this VRBO due to the fact of the large amount of people that could stay at the property we were in town for work. There were nine of us. The property was able to accommodate all of us comfortably. The views are amazing the lakefront. The property is nice and clean and the amenities were a plus I would recommend this place to everyone.

The house was perfect for what we needed. All the kitchen utensils and equipment needed to prepare thanksgiving dinner were available. The views of the lake from the multilevel home were amazing. The house is equipped with indoor and outdoor fireplaces which we used outside near the lake. Even though it was chilly we took advantage of the hot tub and fireplaces. The main kitchen level does have a lower ceiling in the laundry and half bath which wasn’t an issue but thought it was important to mention for guests taller than 6’5+.

We enjoyed this tri-level home with views for days! stocked kitchen, plenty of paper goods, towels (even for hot tub), TV in both living areas, A/C control on each floor- they work quickly, clean hot tub, lots of outdoor seating, and great area for morning and evening walks. Did I mention the views, from the hot tub, living room, master bed and bathroom!
We did not spend the majority of our 4 day weekend at the house (visiting family and a special event).
Some of the important things to know when renting here: there is NO lake access for swimming/boating here. You have to drive to neighboring lakes for those activities. Also if you or someone in your party is over 5’ 10” be aware the ceilings are low!! My brother in law hit his head multiple times, 2 of my nephews also hit their heads. Mostly coming down the stairs or using the bathroom on the first floor.

House was well equipped, and had a lovely view and is near many beautiful lakes and trails. My fault for not understanding that you could not access the lake the house was on before booking - there were even lake monitors. It was also a little confusing when trying to leave and pack up that the owner showed up.

The entire process couldn’t have been easier. Jose is such a thoughtful host as the house is so well appointed. We forgot to bring coffee, but no worries. He had coffee there. The kitchen is fully stocked and the best part for me was not having to pack our own linens. Such a pleasure to not pack bulky towels, blankets and sheets. The house is also well located with boat rentals, wineries, etc nearby. We can’t wait to return.

The house had everything we needed for our stay! Although we didn’t spend much time at the house we were comfortable when we did. We had plenty of rooms/ beds for our whole party. Jose was a great host and answered all our questions.

For our weekend lake getaway we wanted lakefront comfort and found it in this large, well-equipped multi-level house. Our experience was positive from booking to departure. Jose is an experienced host and all you need to bring is food & bev for a delightful respite.
We wanted to bring the family together and there was plenty of room to relax, read, enjoy an evening fire, and share meals in a large comfortable, well-lit dining area with a gorgeous view of the lake and hills beyond.
There are plenty of bedrooms and the master is large with a modern, renovated en suite.
We enjoyed a weekend afternoon walking through and dining in Warwick, a short drive away. Also a short trip to a choice of markets.
When we had a small issue Jose was very responsive.

This was a great house for a weekend away with friends. The view of the lake was amazing, the house was clean, everything we expected. I would recommend staying here to others!

Flew from California to our son’s wedding and rented this property for three nights. The house is perfect for a family of 8-10 if you don’t mind sharing bunk beds. The kitchen had everything you need to cook and share a nice meal with the whole family. The property has nice amenities, however we were so busy with wedding that could not enjoy them,

The location and the water views are great, and the firepit is the best feature. However, the house was not clean, the bathrooms had hair and dust and the floors were very sticky.
One day, the temperature reached 91 so the third floor got really hot. We contacted Jose regarding the AC, he replied an hour later recommending us to open the windows since the AC wasn't ready as it wasn't summer yet. So make sure you inquiry about the AC before you go. We couldn't sleep on those rooms that night (the thermostat showed 94).
The hot tub is a nice feature but in our case, the water never got hot (it was more like lukewarm temperature). We talked to Jose about it, and he said he had set it up to a certain temperature that in his opinion was hot enough. I think the guests should be able to set the tub
to the temperature they want.
I have rented other VRBO properties and i had never had the owner or host of the house knock on the door at 11:00 am to check things out. So make sure you are ready to leave on time! But I guess that's a way to confirm the guests check out on time. I took the opportunity to talk to Jose, and he was polite and attentive to all of our complaints. He even offer a discount for future bookings for all the issues we encountered but we I don't think we will be taking his offer.

Jose was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The house was clean. Even though it poured the whole weekend we had spectacular views and stayed warm and cozy in front of the fireplace!

The house was beyond our expectations. We had a great time and Jose is a awesome host. The home was well maintained and kept in perfect condition. The only heads up I will give is there is a lot of steps. (3 floors) So if anyone in your group cannot comfortably go up and down stairs, this beautiful lake house might not work for you. Other than that… definitely planning on returning next year.

Had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this property, house was even more lovely in person. Host was incredibly responsive. The lake was quiet and beautiful sat around the fire pit every night with friends. Would definitely stay again!

Nice property right on the lake! Our weekend weather was ideal and the foliage from the deck was amazing! The house had all the starter items you could need for a long weekend - no need to shop for the basics (soap, TP...). Lots of room for a group (we had 5)! Had a great time, and got to meet Jose in person (nice guy)! My only negative is the parking - there is off road parking for 2 cars and its a hillside ledge (a little scary since you cant see the edge). Overall, it was great and would consider again.

Great Lake house and location
Spent a few days over winter break at this perfect lake house with picturesque views and close proximity to Mount Peter. The house was furnished with everything we needed and more. The multi-level layout was great for parents and kids to have separate spaces to hang out and the house had ample room for everybody and everything. Jose was extremely receptive to any questions we had and replied promptly (within 10-15 minutes). Would highly recommend!

Weekend Birthday Celebration
The Lake house is amazing, plenty of room for the 8 of us, and great views of the lake. There is a boat landing/dock right on the property, and if it were not February we would have spent all of our time in the water! It was still fun to be on the frozen over lake and we got 5 fresh inches of snow on Sunday morning, which made things even more beautiful. Jose was a great host, he came by Sunday morning to clear the walkways and steps, which really helped when packing up, and even helped clean the snow off of our cars. We will definitely be back when we can enjoy the Lake a little more in the summer, but a great time was had by all!

Cozy weekend getaway
Several friends and I got away from NYC for a cozy January weekend retreat. Peaceful lake views, ample indoor light from the many windows, and plenty of outside space for crisp moments outdoors. The house was spacious & comfortable for 5 adults and we took full advantage of the working fire place(s) every day - this was our favorite amenity during our stay, and there was plenty of extra wood available. Kitchen is well-equipped with staples (spices, EVOO, etc.) and equipment - we cooked a lot! The drinking water is solely available from a filter in the kitchen sink, which was running very slowly when we were there but we just grabbed some bottled water down the road at the store. No biggie. Jose, the owner, was pleasant and efficient in communications and generously drove out on our departure day (post-snowstorm) to help us shovel/make sure we got out ok. We will be back!

This property was absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures. We especially loved the variety of outdoor spaces (multiple decks, fire pit, barbecue area) which all had excellent views of the water.

Great place, lots of stairs
Meticulously clean space, the master bedroom/bathroom suite were spectacular (high ceiling, comfy King bed, jacuzzi tub, balcony over the lake). A chair on the balcony would have made it perfection but it was a real pleasure to stay in. Upstairs is nice but way less light and no views of the lake. Main floor has a great layout, good amount of furniture, huge kitchen and modern washer/dryer. Only downside is the ceiling is a little low so it’s not as bright and airy and we expected but overall very comfortable and enjoyable. Outside spaces are really the reason we’ll be back with well furnished balcony, deck, stone outdoor dining room and fire pit. Small touches like having a fire pre-made and a well stocked kitchen made everything feel homey and enjoyable. Owner was very nice and accommodating. One caveat is there are LOTS of stairs. The place is built into the side of a clif so even though there are a good amount of railings and everything feel sturdy and clean, if you have trouble with stairs, this will damper things for you a bit.
