It was very comfortable, very clean and extremely well equipped. Plus very accommodating hosts. Everyone loved it. The location was close to every thing too. I would strongly recommend it to my friends

The amenities at Beachwalk are GREAT for families. There is something for all age groups. The hosts were very responsive and available both before and during our stay. Corner Shop Hope had all the things our family needed for a great stay. We REALLY liked the porch - and had our morning coffee there each day. This would be a place we would recommend to anyone!

Property was ideally located. Great screened porch for the little kids . House was well equipped for a big group. Jill was great and helpful with fire pit wood and igniter. We are talking about returning next year.

Corner Shop Hope was above and beyond our expectations. It was very clean and well-stocked with all types of pans and cooking utensils. The screen porch was fantastic and there were balconies with seating available on the upper floors. The dining table was huge and there were extra chairs if needed. We easily fed a group of twelve at the same time. The location couldn’t have been better—directly across from the pool and other amenities. Jill came and introduced herself then let us know how to contact her if needed. This was the perfect place for our entire family to get together. I would highly recommend Corner Shop Hope!

This was the perfect place for our family getaway. The layout is perfect for multiple families, branches of families or a gathering of friends. Ample places to congregate plus plenty of places to enjoy some peace and quiet too. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Great home for multi generation family, spacious and well appointed. Cousins loved being together, parents got to relax, and grandparents loved watching everyone have a good time. The beach was a magnet, especially for the teenagers. Our second year at Corner House Hope did not disappoint! A great way to start the summer!

We have stayed at this property a good number of times now because it meets our needs, is in a good location and the owners are easy to deal with. This is one of the few properties at Beachwalk that is suitable for someone in a wheelchair - with a ramp to the front door and a decent sized master bedroom on the first floor. If you need a shower chair, plan to bring your own. We (and our young grandkids) love the screened in porch. Corner Shop Hope is right across from the pool which is a plus for our family. And, anyone heading to or from the beach has to pass right by, so we see our extended family members as well. Very comfortable and pleasant. We hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Corner Shop Hope. The 6 bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own sleeping area. We spent alot of time on the screened front porch. The proximity to beach, pool and park was a great perk. Kitchen was stocked with every dish, glass, pan, utensil that anyone could imagine needing, and all were in great shape. The gas grill is large and we made good use of it. Jill and Rich are right next door, so are available for anything that is needed. All in all, wonderful.

Plenty of hi-end pots and pans and all cooking necessities. Great main floor (screened in) and second floor decks with cast iron table and chairs on both and plenty of chairs.
Each bedroom was impeccably decorated.

We absolutely loved our stay at Corner Shop Hope. Comfortable beds for all - and great set up to accommodate our family with ages from 3 to 87. Sitting and dining on the large, screened in front porch, was so relaxing and enjoyable for all, especially the great grandparents. Perfect location to enjoy the resort amenities (right across the street).

Loved this home away from home, plenty room for our 3 generation family of 10. There was absolutely everything we could have wanted, and hosts Jill & Rich were exceptional. Loved the screened porch and set up of the house. Cousin time with lots of smiles. Grilling out, games, beach, pool, ping pong, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing, something for everyone. We didn’t want to leave!

So Fun
Great location only a short 2 block walk to the beach. The pool was right across the street. Jill and Rich were great hosts. We found the place stocked with all the comforts of home. Great Hospitality and lovely property
The property is clean and well maintained, it is an exceptional location, it accommodates large groups with room to spread out, and the owners are helpful and available when needed. We were in the area for a family member’s wedding and this home made the event even more enjoyable.

Summer Memories for a Lifetime!
We had a big group of 10 adults and 3 small kids that took our summer vaca here. It was idyllic! Better than we ever anticipated. The pool is outside the front of the house and Lake Michigan is at the end of the road that the house is on. The community is so fun with little performances and movies happening in the courtyard behind the property. The house was even better than the pictures and the house had everything we needed (and more for the kiddos)! Jill and Rich were accommodating hosts that made us feel at home. Hoping to book again next summer!

Corner Shop Hope Stay
Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion week at Beach Walk. Corner Shop Hope is located in a great spot across from the pool, right along the main drag where our other family members will pass on the way to the beach, pool or our other houses. It works great for our family - We especially made use of the screened in porch this time with our grandson who kept asking to go out there. He will definitely miss the piano in the kitchen! We have been there at least three times now, so, in many ways, it feels like home!

Perfect family getaway
Jill and Rich are amazing hosts. The house is very spacious and ideal for families. It’s also stocked with plenty of beach essentials (chairs, cooler, umbrellas, beach wagon). Location can’t be beat. The neighborhood has tons to offer for the kids (pool, lake, parks). Zero complaints, we will

Great getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay! We traveled with six adults and three small children and the location to the pool is unbeatable. There is so much space to spread out and the screened-in, outdoor porches were perfect for the adults hanging out at night while the kids slept.
One thing I would consider is renting a golf cart. The walk to the beach isn’t bad at all, the listing is 100% accurate on that, but for smaller children and all of the stuff you have to bring for them it would have been nice.

Wonderful Trip
The house was perfect for our long weekend get-away! The location was perfect - close to pool and beach. Kids enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding (no additional cost). Our hosts were very accommodating... all questions answered quickly both prior to and during our visit. They provided anything we asked for, including a basketball. There were basketball hoops nearby. The house had chairs and umbrellas for the beach as well as a wagon to help get everything to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed, from a ninja blender, lots of pots and pans. We used the grill a couple of time.

Hidden Gem
To say that we were pleasant surprised is an understatement. The overall atmosphere of the home and neighborhood just gave us the relaxed feeling we were on vacation. It is such a wonderful place for family and friends of all ages. The home was well stocked, clean and very spacious for our entire family. We would highly recommend as Jill was very easy to communicate with and very friendly! We will be back again!

We have stayed at Beachwalk several times and this house was the best yet. Location was great, it was wonderfully well stocked, very clean and the owners were great to work with. It was a great property for 10 people. Very comfortable.

Family reunion
The booking and check-in process was excellent. Jill was an accommodating host and very easy to communicate with. There were 14 of us for a family reunions, including multiple small children. Plenty of activities available in the community including the pool and small lake with kayaking and paddleboarding across the street! I think this house as one of the best locations within the beachwalk community. I would highly recommend this as a getaway for a few days or a reunions type of event. House was well stocked with all the basic necessities, including board games, fully stocked kitchen, and gas grill. I'm certain that I will be returning with a large group at some point!

Great STAY
We had 9 adults and 2 toddlers stay at Corner Shop Hope this past weekend and had a wonderful time!! We had more than enough space and felt right at home when we walked in. We loved being across from the pool and 1-2 blocks from the beach. Thank you for a great weekend away with family.

Perfect extended family getaway
Perfect get away for 3 families. The property is roomy, all the amenities are there and Beachwalk never disappoints. The only downside is no golf cart with the property and unfortunately none were available to rent the week we stayed. We will be back 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Corner Shop Hope. The house was clean, well equipped, and worked well for our family. It is very easy to live in the house, plenty of room for all. The location in the heart of Beachwalk is an advantage for beach or pool. We really appreciated the beach chairs and beach umbrella that you had on the front porch.

Family, Fun, in a wonderful place.
Perfect time. We usually go to Florida but had less time to get away so decided to check out The Indiana Dunes area and cut the driving in half. Great choice. I kinda like the smell of the salt water but that was the only thing missing. Great house with lots of rooms and seating, tried to hit all top ten restaurants in the area and were not disappointed by any. The kids loved the pool being right across the street and I loved walking my 2 year old grandson to the huge wonderful playground. Real nice zoo too. Beachwalk is awesome!! We will be back!

Our family reunion for 14 years!
My parents, with their children and spouses, grandkids and great grandkids have called Corner Shop Hope home to our family reunion for 14 years. Lots of comfortable bedrooms and large bathrooms to accommodate a large crowd. The first floor, including the master bedroom and bathroom, is wheelchair accessible, which is nice for my dad. The location is THE BEST in Beachwalk - central to the neighborhood and close to the pool, food, Lake Kai, kayak rental, playground, etc. Jill and Rich (the owners) are friendly and helpful. We will be back this summer!

Our yearly tradition
Our family stays here one week every summer, and it has become a real touchstone for us. It's a place where we are together and relaxed, but active, too, (with the pool and the lake so nearby). The house itself is terrific and unique, and the owners are really accommodating and ready to help in any way—and nearby when you need them, which has really been helpful over the years. It really has everything for a great summer getaway.

Best week of our summer
We booked this place to get my extended family together for a week in the summer. Ground level is perfect for hanging out. The large dining table sat all our family, the open kitchen meant we could play games, cook and all be together comfortably. And wow, the front screened in porch! Pool across the street, beach a short walk away. Ideal bedroom configuration - a fun bunk room for the kids. My family feels so refreshed and much more connected after our summer week here!
