Great view, close to boat launch, great sleep, comfortable stay, and everything you need (fully stocked kitchen, grill, fire pit, washer/dryer, etc).

Every morning I sat out on the deck and watch the sunrise. The most gorgeous pictures I have ever seen. There was Wildlife catching fish and a few fishermen out on the lake. The perfect vacation

Watching the sun rise over the Green Mountains on Loon Landing's porch is an experience of unmatched beauty. Tucked away on its own bluff, passing cars are few and far between, and the lakeshore itself is a endless bounty of skipping stones and prehistoric fossils. Would stay again!

Lake front property. Large deck.

Property was immaculate inside and out. Deck is massive with three seating areas allowing for great views of the lake. Fire Pit perfectly positioned with Adirondack Chairs. Great hosts and felt like home.

This home is quite unique. For those travelers that identify with the feel of a house that displays carefully chosen details that represent the owner's love of home, you'll enjoy this cottage very much. In this peaceful environment, all rooms are fully outfitted and provide helpful instructions. Truly lovely. Oh, just a small tip. The microwave is concealed inside the cabinet above the stove. Enjoy!

This is a lovely property north of Plattsburgh. The porch is perfect for meals, reading and watching the birds and boats. We drove through the Adirondacks in the fall and it was a spectacular road trip to get there. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. House has so many charming touches and the owner was terrific in answering all our questions.

Loon Landing is a cozy, yet spacious lake house nestled in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous views of Lake Champlain. The house comes stocked with just about anything you might need including a fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals, plenty of fans if the weather is uncharacteristically hot, and blankets, books, and board games if it’s rainy and cold. And the hosts are so kind and easy to work with. But what really steals the show is the amazing deck with breathtaking views and the large private beach on the property - they can’t be beat!

This is a wonderful property to stay at - larger than it looks in the photos with a gorgeous deck overlooking the lake. Only 15 minutes from Plattsburgh, in a neighborhood with homes all around - but we still had the lake to ourselves: at night you could have heard a pin drop (this could have been due to the timing of our visit in mid-September). The house is VERY well stocked with everything you need: pots/pans/kitchen implements, gas grill, fire pit, washer/dryer, really nice sheets and towels. We travel quite a bit, and this was the best-stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed at. Easy check-in and the hosts were responsive when we had a question. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nice older home just steps from Lake Champlain.

Property was beautiful! Porch over looking the lake was large, well spaced with two dining areas and great chairs. The fire pit worked well ! The area around us was quiet and peaceful. Close parks and walking areas. Our hosts were great and tolerant of our poor texting skills. Over all one of the nicest vacation rentals we have ever had and our thanks to Linda for all her help in making it so comfortable!

This place is wonderful! We needed a calm, quiet, getaway and this place was perfect! From the deck you can relax, look out on the lake, listen to the loons, and truly relax. The cabin is comfortable, well furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Highly recommend!

Loon Landing is everything Scott and Linda promise and more! Amazing gem of a house located on beautiful Lake Champlain. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the deck with amazing views, slept comfortably in the nicely arranged bedrooms, and enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom. We even saw a loon on the water on our last morning! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful home with us.

This property is amazing and the owners are wonderful! We had everything we needed. Linda & Scott also communicated with us regularly. They gave us advice on the area and also alternate fishing spots based on the winds of Lake Champlain. Stay at Loons Landing if you get the opportunity!

Also: take the ferry to Burlington, Vermont and spend a fun day on Church Street.

Loon Landing is lovely, relaxing, mysterious, enchanting, secluded, cozy, comfortable, clean, inspired, homey, breezy, colorfully autumnal, voluble with winds: all on the water's edge.

Nice quiet property, good size yard, smaller driveway. Everything worked as it should. The large rocky shore area was nice but water was low this year so fishing from shore was tough. Good selection of shore birds visited us. Was nice waking up to a beautiful sunrise everyday. Close to Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Vermont and about a dozen antique shops! Hosts were great, made sure we had what we needed and were responsive to any questions. Would stay here again.

To be clear, yes, the owners were fantastic and great communicators and the house was very well stocked (especially the kitchen!), but the view steals the show! With little ones we got to appreciate the beauty of the sunrise and just stare out at the view most of the day! Though it was not beach weather while we were there the State Park beach is just a five/ ten min away!

Beautiful home and location.

Absolutely beautiful location to social distance with family. It was exactly what we had hoped for. Loved being able to walk down the steps and into the lake. Loved every minute of our week at Loon Landing.

What an amazing getaway for a family. Everything you need is right here. No need to pack sheets, blankets and towels. Loon Landing has gorgeous water views, places for everyone to spread out in the house and on the deck, a huge yard for kids to run around or play games, access to the water (you can rent kayaks and have them delivered) and lots of privacy. The charm of the home can’t be beat. We felt the artistic beauty of the original owners. In fact, there are original loon paintings and an easel to try your hand at drawing. The Adirondack furniture adds to It’s beauty. The kitchen is well stocked with almost any type of cooking utensils you need. And, of course, it’s great having two bathrooms and great laundry facilities so you don’t need to pack so much. And if you need any questions answered, the owners are immediately responsive.
