Fantastic House In Grand Marais! Walking Distance To Downtown!
Le Grand Marais Getaway est une location de vacances depuis plus de 10 ans et est agréé par l’État du Minnesota. C'est une maison lumineuse et spacieuse à quelques rues du magnifique lac Supérieur, dans la "petite ville la plus cool d'Amérique", Grand Marais, MN.
La maison peut accueillir 6-8 personnes dans ses trois chambres (2 reines, 1 double et un canapé convertible qui est un autre lit queen. Il y a 2 salles de bains, 1 avec baignoire / douche et l'autre avec une douche.
Nous fournissons Wifi, téléphone et télévision par satellite. Il y a aussi une table de ping-pong dans la pièce inférieure, à 4 marches du niveau principal. La chambre basse comprend également un canapé convertible, une salle de bains et un coin lecture. Profitez d'un livre de notre bibliothèque dans nos chaises à brindilles artisanales!
Pendant les mois les plus chauds, passez du temps dans le petit studio situé dans la cour arrière. C'est un endroit idéal pour le yoga!

Love it here! Appreciate a nice place that allows dogs. Wish we could have accommodated one extra guest but we understand it’s the rules!

Lots of room. Close to downtown and all the activities there. We were a little disappointed that the TV had no hookup to any cable network where we could see certain Olympic events. If it weren't for our grandson having a laptop along, we would have missed our favorite Olympic events.

We have stayed in other VRBO homes, which we enjoyed, but this one is definitely our favorite. It is spacious, well furnished, and the lower level was perfect for our teenagers. We definitely plan to reserve the home again.

This is a great property! It's spacious and comfortable and has all the "extras" that are needed for cooking, playing and keeping a busy family entertained. We hope to be back again sometime soon!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was even better than we imagined. Supplied with everything that my family needed and very clean. We gathered for some of our meals here and had plenty of room for other family members staying elsewhere. The location is perfect. The host had great communication and check-in was a breeze. We would highly recommend it to others. We cannot wait to come back!

This cabin is always the perfect place to stay while visiting Grand Marais. It's clean, has everything we need, comfortable, and feels like home. We can walk all over downtown easily from here. We love staying here.

The property is much more spacious than the pictures show. It’s cozy with great amenities. Walking distance to all Grand Marais has to offer. Would definitely book again if we come back to the area.

We absolutely loved this property. It had everything we needed, was very clean, and the location was perfect. Only a block and a half from 61, it was easy to walk anywhere we needed to go. The fisherman in our group did not have far to go for great places to Steelhead as well. We found all of the furniture to be very comfortable and enjoyed meals out on the back shed/patio. It was also nice to find a fire pit there even though we didn’t get a chance to use it. They had a really nice variety of games, puzzles, and DVDs for adults and children. We definitely hope to stay here again.

My wife, our dog, and I all enjoyed our stay in this VRBO. When you want to rent some place where it checks all the boxes then go here. Clean, comfortable and with attention to detail - this place had it all. We especially loved having some entertaining games of ping pong! Our thanks to Nancy and Matt!!

This VRBO is great. It is our second stay and it would be our first choice if we come back to the area. Kids love the ping pong table. The house is cozy and inviting. The amenities are great and the house functions perfectly for a family. Could not even suggest an improvement in all fairness! Well done!

Even without snow - a first for us on our post-Christmas trip to Grand Marais - we had a fabulous time! The ping pong table remains a favorite, but we also love that the living area is big enough for games and puzzles! The short walk to Grand Marais makes wandering around town and out to the lighthouse a great way to get out and hit all our favorite eateries!

Absolutely perfect. Super clean and welcoming, and totally cozy. Brought our 6 mo old and the white noise machines and high chair were great to have. Plus you'll make a buddy with Wilbert, the sweet local outdoor cat :)

We loved the location as we walked everywhere we wanted to go.
We would have liked some shades or blinds on the French doors in the living toom. Maybe because we live in Minneapolis , but it felt exposed to us to not have the option of pulling shades or blinds in the evening
The hosts were very gracious letting us check in a bit early and left a bottle of wine for us.
We thought this was very generous.
It was a great place overall and we would highly recommend it to others.

The pictures don’t do justice- there are more comfortable places to sit than pictured. It’s certainly nothing fancy but was a nice clean space that met all of our needs. I wish there were more flexible places to sleep for families (twin beds/bunk bed in a bedroom) so we didn’t have to use the foldout couch, but it worked and was a nice space to come back to. We would use it again and recommend to others, especially if the bed situation meets your needs.

We adored our stay here. The home is as beautiful as the pictures. It was the perfect size for our family.
The bedrooms and mattresses are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The game room was fun and had a great little library.
The location is about a block from the main road. It was about a 7-10 min walk to most restaurants, shops, etc.
The owners are very kind and considerate. We had a lovely vacation. Thank you for sharing this gem with us!

Terrific, well-appointed home — very warm, functional and fun. The ping pong table in particular was a hit! Communication with the owner was great and very helpful as we were both navigating a major construction project that was happening on the street where the home was located. Obviously that project was not the owner’s choice, but she was great about updating me on the progress and various logistical issues.

This property was perfectly located close enough to walk into downtown Grand Marais and explore the area. The split level format worked well for our toddler for an earlier bedtime, too.

This place was great for our family of 4! We love how the house was set up.
You walk in and it’s a fun rec room with games, ping pong table, couch at fault I want to hear bed, and has a three-quarter bathroom!
The living room dining room is nicely laid out. And Ethan has a washer dryer. All three bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. And the full bath is great. In the back there’s a fun little area if you want to sit by.
Front area is lovely to sit by and have a fire! It was quiet and convenient to walk to everything. This place was absolute perfect for us!

We are long time visitors at The Getaway in Grand Marais. Matt and Nancy have always been reachable and very pleasant to work with. This year we had an unexpected event occur upon arrival and we were in need to work on figuring out a viable solution to the issue. Needless to say, Matt and Nancy helped us as best they could through the situation and we ended up having another great family vacation on the North shore.

Such a beautiful cabin that perfectly accommodates our family of 4 and our dog. The cabin is clean and has everything that we need, even for the 2 little kids.
It is within walking distance of everything in town so we could walk back and forth into town multiple times a day without a problem.
Nancy is so easy to communicate with and a great hostess.
Grand Marias is our favorite place to be and we will be back soon!

We had an amazing time! This place is close to everything. It’s so convenient! The house is so comfortable and the yard is nice for the dogs. I really liked this place and I want to stay here again. It’s so nice when I am able to bring my dogs. It’s means so much. Thank you for being pet friendly.

We had a great time we felt comfortable, loved the space.Played Ping Pong and did two puzzles We did a lot of hiking and saw the Northern Lights( which we were thrilled about) and made good food and got great Tacos from the Hungry Hippie Tacos. A really fun family trip,!

The Getaway made our vacation great! The home is a super comfortable and beautifully decorated. The beds are wonderful, especially after CC skiing 6 miles. We played hours of cards at the large dining room table. We watched movies in the comfortable living room. We played ping pong tournaments. We walked into town for dinner. We will be back! My family and I stayed here for a spring break getaway to Grand Marais. The house and location were perfect! The house was well-furnished and cozy. The kids loved the ping pong table. The proximity to downtown was exactly what we wanted so we could walk to Voyager, Gunflint Tavern and the grocery store. We would love to stay again in the future!

It was perfect for friends hanging out for a ski weekend. The ping pong table and the hookey kept us busy with some healthy competition. Close to the center town and the Lutsen. Would definitely coming back with my family
