The overall experience was better than I thought. Very clean, comfortable beds anything we needed they thought of. The owners were very nice and were efficient with anything that we needed. Also very accommodating for parking with two cars.

We had a wonderful time. The location was great- it was an easy drive or walk to coffee and shops near the water. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The cottage was as advertised- very clean and comfortable for our stay. Having two full bathrooms was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Jay and Sandy!

This was a carefully maintained and very clean cottage. We had a great stay! The place is located next to the home of the owners/proprietors, so although we had no problems, it was nice to know that we could have adressed any quickly and easily. There were many thoughtful little touches: new sponge, tons of towels, scores of hangers, . . . The friendly owners have lots of experience and are committed to continued enhancements.

One of my college buddies and I come up to Newport and Bristol every year to reconnect with our old stomping grounds and we found this awesome cottage right in the heart of Bristol that was just a few minutes away from the center of town and also very close to Newport and Providence, where we typically like to go and hang out. The property owners were very kind and accommodating and their property is just perfect. A beautiful cottage inside and out, we had everything we needed and then some. Super comfortable, everything was just spot on, and we definitely have found our new go to place to hang out each year. We already are looking forward to booking this location again, if you are looking for the perfect spot to get away for a couple of days and still be near everything that is fun to do in the area, look no further than Jay and Sandra‘s cottage! Thank you for a wonderful accomodation!

The location is in a quiet neighborhood and I enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and to downtown Bristol in the mornings. The town is small with a few quaint shops and great bakeries. Location is great if you want to visit Providence, Newport, and Boston. Beds were comfortable and the unit is clean and well stocked. There were even a few treats left out for us which was a fun surprise.

Set-up was just great! Very clean and the furnishings fit nicely, not a lot of clutter. Had a small problem with the heat, but the owners responded quickly and had the problem fixed. Would stay there again.

Great clean and comfortable place in Bristol RI. Close to many venues we needed to visit for a family wedding. Quiet house on quiet streets. Nice outdoor private patio to enjoy the sunny weather.

We had a great stay at the cottage. The photos are slightly outdated so was pleasantly surprised to see the property in real life. Everything was very clean and it was extremely kind of the hosts to provide water, coffee, tissues, etc. Would certainly stay again if we returned to Bristol!

We stood for 2 nights. Our daughter was getting married at the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol. This home is so close to the venue, so it was very convenient. The home was super clean. The air condition was on which was great as it was hot outside. There are 2 large bedrooms one up and one down and two full bathrooms. It was newly remodeled. It is located on a dead end street so nice and quiet. The limo picked our daughter and her bridal party up here and the owner's Sandy and Jay came out to see the bridal party. They are such nice friendly hosts. You get 1 spot for off street parking. If your looking for a great place to stay in Bristol, you should book here. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great stay!

Great accommodations for our family of five adults and teens. Very clean and comfortable with two bathrooms and a great living room and breakfast nook. Terrific location within a 30 minute drive of Newport, Providence, and beaches. Bristol is a very quaint historic town. Sandy and Jay are great hosts! We would definitely stay here again!

Best rental we’ve had in a very long time. Spacious, nice layout, cold a/c, great beds, pillows & linens. Fresh remodel- they’re posting new pictures very soon. Beautiful kitchen, coffee & snacks, fabulous outdoor patio area. Directions were a breeze and parking space is right by the front door. We loved this place!

Sandy and Jay Sousa have recently renovated their attached "cottage". It is beautifully done, with a well stocked full kitchen and dining area with plenty of seating. It even has a washer and dryer. The neat backyard has outdoor furniture and a grill. They were very friendly and helpful if needed, but also gave us complete privacy. It is very close to good restaurants, shops, Colt State Park, and many other places worth visiting. We definitely want to come back again with our two friends.

Mom's weekend away and we couldn't have asked for a more comfy and cozy place to stay. We had the opportunity to tour around in Newport and Providence which are both very close to Jon and Sandy's home.
Jon and Sandy are wonderful hosts and everything about our check-in and our stay was perfect. It was all so easy!

Stayed here with my wife and 4 yo daughter, it was a great location. Close to downtown Bristol and less than a mile from a fantastic playground! Hosts were wonderful, they live next door and were friendly whenever we saw them. House was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. The owners were friendly and thoughtful. Less knick knacks than usual was a definite plus for us; it was a very nice sized and comfortable apartment for my husband, college age daughter and me. Everything was clean and tidy. Carpet seemed new/fresh. We found everything we needed. We sat in the back patio several times, including multiple meals. That was a real draw for us -- to be outside in a pleasant and secluded atmosphere. The location was a short drive to downtown Bristol and about 25 min to the heart of Newport. Very easy move in and move out was also a plus. We left a cute New England puzzle for the next family, and took wonderful memories. Thank you, Sandy and Jay!

Fantastic stay during wedding weekend
We were in Bristol for a wedding held at the Mount Hope Farm. The house was very close to the wedding venue, it was clean and Jay and Sandy were extremely helpful. We also loved that it was walking distance to town so we could attend other wedding and family activities without having to drive. We would highly recommend this house.
