Milton House is a large property and well equipped. The living room is small for the amount of people it holds. We needed a stop over for Le Shuttle.
Small living room

Central location, quirky old house with beams and uneven floors.
Garden not secure for pets and had to pay additional costs for them.
Side gate to the drive noisy, woke up at 6am every morning due to this.
Kitchen lacks cooking utensils.
Little privacy, garden overlooked by all properties. Owners working at the end of garden, looking in. Access to other properties at the end of garden are able to look straight in.
Pictures were mostly of the house next door, very small communal area if you had 8 people.

Good communication ahead of our stay. Good sized Accomodation and we’ll equipped.
Would have been helpful to have some toilet roll provided!
Some additional pillows for the beds.

As a family we really enjoyed having the three bathrooms and good sized bedrooms.
well located for the nature reserve ( we travelled with a dog) and short walk into town for bars and restaurants

The location was peaceful, and being on the High Street was not a problem. In fact, it was very accessible. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, and the nice kitchen was appreciated. Both bathrooms were excellent, great powerful showers. The house was clean, and Sue was extremely attentive, responding to messages promptly. Excellent service on that front. The fridge freezer was a good size, along with a nice cooker and oven. It was great to have ample free parking for 2 cars. The courtyard is handy, too. Easy access to the property. All 4 bedrooms were set out nicely, clean with lovely beds. We enjoyed our stay.
The second-hand pots and pans were a bit tired and need replacing. The range of utensils and oven ware also needs widening. Some oven gloves would help

Lovely house, in a pleasant village with shops, a nice friendly pub.
A nice small garden to enjoy, especially in the evenings.
All clean and very well kept
To drive through to the car park is rather tight, especially if your door mirrors won't fold in. To be fair we warned beforehand and there other places close by to park.

Comfortable and clean. Great to have ensuite for each bedroom.
Loved garden patio courtyard for meals alfresco
Challenge of parking through archway however parked nearby in locality.
Local eateries were limited but ate at Faversham and village pubs.

Great location and well presented
Needs a long mirrior apparently (wifes choice)
And a lock on the gate to keep the dog in

Perfect old stylish house.
The floors are curvy, but that was kind of fun to experience. The taps were leaking, but the problem was solved on our request. Strange, that it was not fixed before our arrival, as the leak was pretty obvious.

I had read the reviews and researched carefully but this was just not up to my expectation. It was near enough to where we needed to be...that was the plus side. The building we stayed in was in the rear garden. If you want to sleep 8 people then this is great, with four bedrooms all en-suite. The living area is just the corridor between the bedrooms and very disappointing, Tv on wall with sofa that just seats three and a table and chairs. Sadly some things have just been thrown together with not much thought and don't match, or have not been finished off. It functions but lacks any warmth. There was private parking and shops nearby but this whole town is very tired.
This property was not as expected and the description prior to booking was not clear as to which property you would be staying in. I hope they make some changes to the website info, as I asked a lot of questions before our stay and still felt un prepared for what we got on arrival.
The main old house frontage in the pictures, is not what we got, but a converted building in the rear courtyard accessed through very narrow gates off a busy main street. Wing mirrors in literally.
Kitchen lacked some basic essentials including oven gloves and chopping board and only had one bowl! to share for our breakfast haha. Only one bathroom functioned properly, either shower hoses were split or bath plugs didn't work, some had no doors! or extractor fans and smelt stale. Padded walled room ! had the king size bed which was actually very comfortable, but a very strange dangerous side shelf, which could take your eye out in the night, had been fitted into the cupboard , and oddly the head board had been cut into it. Just not necessary. No bedside lamps except in one room.

The house was great. Spent Christams there and didn't leave for the duration we were so comfortable. The host is friendly, helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends in the future. It was clean, beds were comfy and rooms were all a good size. Great price as well considering the time of year :)
Could have done with a bit more cutlery

The house was well equipped with everything we needed plenty of room for our party

location was good and we loved how quirky the house is due to its age. good sized rooms and even though there was 9 of us staying it didn’t feel over crowded. lovely sized kitchen and the garden was nice for the kids to have a small run around within. friendly interactions with Paul and Sue who were on easy to contact if we needed to.
Due to the number of guests having more cutlery would have been useful. also a broom for the kitchen to allow us to sweep up would have been good as w like to keep things as tidy as we can!!

I like the the location. The house is a walking distance from the train station and Sittingbourne High Street, as well as a hypermarket.
Close to the house you have a barber shop, corner shops, pubs.
For us was important that we were welcomed by Paul, in person.
If you look for a place well positioned, good value for money, a host that you can talk to, then I think Milton House is one of those places.

Nice place .
No blind on kitchen door. Otherwise all ok.

location
everything was bad. it was dirty. a house made for 9 sleepers doesn’t have locks on the bathroom doors. I’m also deaf so as a group there it was so nerve wrecking trying to use the toilet as I couldn’t hear if someone was inside or if anyone was going to walk in on me.
the kitchen was dirty. there was not even toilet paper for us to use or washing up liquid.
there was a sofa in the kitchen so getting to sit around the table was a challenge.
some of the beds were made for us and some weren’t.
one of the bathrooms the shower pipe was so short it won’t even reach half way up the body! you have to sit in the bath to be able to wash your head.
the other one the shower is nearly over the toilet so everything gets wet when using it
the building structure is to be questioned.
there are half painted walls
I could still go on
they’ve used the best of all the properties they have and only used those pics for references. so you didn’t even know what you’re getting till you get there. it’s very miss leading

Clean place friendly landlord was a very nice experience and a nice place to be.

The property was an impressive house several centuries old, completely refurbished and well equipped in the inside. Big enough to accommodate our 2 families (4 adults, 4 children and a little baby), it was still cosy, comfortable and safe for all.
The kitchen was particularly well equipped and the separated living room was perfect to create different environments. The children loved the place. The garden was lovely to spent the evening outside during the summer.
Kind and helpful staff, they were there for us in time. Great experience.
Sittingbourne may not be the most vibrant place of England, but it’s charming, full of history and close to beaches and ports. There is nothing not to like about this property!

was in a good location, everything was clean, and owners were helpful in regards to checking into the property.
someone was definitely in the property after me and my family had left for the day. we made sure to switch all lights off, and locked the only door we used to enter the property (front door was locked at all times) and then returned the keys into the key safe and muddled up the code, just incase we were to lose the keys on our day out. we get back and lights were on and door was unlocked. I asked the owner did anyone from their team come in during the day, to which they said no, and no further follow up, like was anything taken, or anything damaged. didn’t feel safe to go back at first because if someone could go in once, they could go in twice. whether it was previous visitor who forgot something and knew the code and let themselves back in, I’m not sure, but feel like safety procedures could have been handled better

We had a 4 bedroom upstairs flat which was lovely but it wasn’t what we were expecting, the pictures weren’t what what we had.
I picked this property as we needed a house, we had 2 small children and a dog we really needed a house not a upstairs flat.
I think you need to let people know before booking what they really are having and show the right pictures to each property as it is misleading.
Paul was really lovely and the flat was great but the dinning and living area was far to small for a large group like ours but overall we enjoyed our stay.
we were all upstairs with 2 small children and a dog and needed a house. ( which I thought we booked)

Much more than I was expecting.
Extremely nice accommodations, really clean and lots of space for all of us. Every room had an in-suite so we all had privacy. Parking available, kitchen with everything you need and more.
Quiet area but with everything near, from restaurants to massive supermarkets.
We really enjoyed.
Thank you so much.

quirky beams and wonky floors. convenient for visiting family
my mattress on lower bedroom double bed. layout of lounge/kitchen. we sat in kitchen but never in lounge. I kept tripping on uneven floor at bottom of second floor. car parking quite difficult.

The house was well stocked with necessities and was warm. The layout was great and even had a baby gate for the little one. There was everything we needed there for our stay, plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. Lovely little garden, perfect for sitting in and relaxing and for the children to blow off steam.
Some of the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, eventually found one that we were able to sleep in. the house itself was clean although the crockery, cutlery and kitchen could have been cleaner. Would have been useful to know to bring HDMI cable so we could have connected our laptop to TV as no netflix or sky.
