Maison de vacances fabuleuse, récemment rénovée et merveilleusement habitable! Une vue imprenable sur les Blue Ridge Mountains vous attend depuis la terrasse spacieuse qui se trouve au sommet de notre hangar à bateaux! Beaucoup d'espace pour prendre le soleil, se prélasser et plonger du haut dans l'eau fraîche du lac de montagne. Nous sommes situés dans la meilleure crique du lac Lure pour la baignade et l'accès au lac est facile car il n'y a que quelques pas de la maison au lac. Un canot, une planche à pagaie, des pagaies et des flotteurs sont fournis pour votre usage.
Notre maison a été entièrement rénovée et agrandie! La chaleur centrale et l'air le rendent confortable toute l'année. La toute nouvelle cuisine ultramoderne comprend des comptoirs en granit, un grand îlot et tous les nouveaux appareils électroménagers. The house has everything we needed for an enjoyable week. It is very clean and enough furniture for everyone. The boathouse and deck are the highlight. We spent lots of time there. We also spent a lot of time on the back porch overlooking the lake. The owner is very responsive. I would highly recommend this place. 😀

We had a great time. The house was well stocked, quiet and large enough for all nine of us. The owner had plenty of amenities to enjoy the lake. I would recommend water shoes to prevent splinters from the wooden deck. We rented a pontoon from Lake Lure Boat Rentals which was a highlight of the trip. Overall, the location was beautiful and we would recommend it to anyone.

We rented the last week of June and it was perfect for four families ... 4 bedrooms and 4 baths (two have bathtubs). The kitchen was very well stocked. Drip coffee maker had about 1,000 filters. :-) There were sooo many lake toys supplied ... kayaks, canoe, floats, vests, baby raft, and baby wading pool. Something for everyone. The views were amazing and there were some lovely sunsets. The boathouse was great for sunbathing, eating, and safe for a two-year old to play in their wading pool with solid fencing around. Of course the adults loved jumping into the lake from the roof. The water temp was perfect this time of year, too. The Lake Lure Adventure Co. will come right to your dock to take you out skiing, tubing or wakeboarding. I got so many compliments from our group for finding the perfect house. The hosts were easy to communicate with, too. Highly recommend this beautiful, clean lakefront house.

This is our second time renting this house. We love the location and the view. The cove is fairly quiet with Mountain View’s everywhere you look. The home has ample space, a wonderful porch, great kitchen and ample bathrooms. The deck and dock offer everything from a variety of seating options to floats, kayaks, etc. We will be returning for more lake time soon!

All ages of our family enjoyed the peaceful and quiet location. Kids loved the kayaks, canoe and paddle boarding. Not even cold temperatures could stop them. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the boat house deck. We had great contact with the host and they responded immediately to all our requests. We definitely will visit again!!

We loved everything about this home. The very large bedroom suites on the lower level were perfect for our adult children and their small children. Large, and equipped with their own bath. The upper floor was large enough for the entire family to gather for cooking and eating. Lake access easy and Plenty of floats. Not one negative thing to say about this spot. We’ll be back.

Charming home on a beautiful cove
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is very well-maintained, offers spectacular views, and sits on one of the best coves on Lake Lure.
Getting to the grocery store and restaurants was easy, especially compared to some locations further up the mountain.
Our only suggestion is to add a second TV in case kids and adults want to watch two different things - but a minor note.
We enjoyed our stay very much and the owners were very responsive when we had questions prior to arrival.

Fantastic Family Vacation
Beautiful, clean home with numerous decks and fantastic views! Well-stocked kitchen with huge island for meal prep. Hot water in showers, 2-zone central a/c. Easy access to all decks and lake with no steep climb. Cell service is not great, but that's the area, not the home. Plenty of room for 6 adults to gather in the common areas and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so each couple had private space. We have been vacationing at different lakes every summer, and this property was our best yet. We enjoyed every minute we spent there!

That was an amazing vacation. The house was equipped with everything , except a hair dryer, we couldn’t find one.
We used all the swimming devices including our own. We trying to spend as much time as possible on the lake.

The only complaint is that it wasn’t enough time.

We arrived a little later than we planned to but was able to communicate with the owners quickly and easily via text message and phone. They were very responsive and took care of the issue so quickly and professionally that we soon forgot that there was even an issue at all. Couldn't have asked for better folks to deal with, really! The house is very nice and well taken care of. We wanted for nothing other than some trash bags that we forgot to bring along. There's easy access to the the Ingle's Supermarket - they even left us savings cards to shop with there. The beds were a bit firm for our liking but after the 2nd night I started to like it somehow...go figure - that must be the power of the lake! The kitchen has everything you'll likely need for cooking meals there and the gas grill was easy to operate, too. The TV was simple enough to figure out and the WiFi works well (it's a bit slow but nothing like dial-up or DSL). There's tons of showers and the water heater seemed to keep up perfectly. The whole place now has central heat and cooling and we used both on this trip. The decks, boat house, and dock are all very safe and added a great amount of outdoor fun for us all. We rented a pontoon boat that was delivered to us the first morning and they came and took it away when we were done - super easy and really a lot of fun! A boat is really the proper way to enjoy a lake vacation, afterall!The view is fantastic and I found it very relaxing to sit there in the morning with a cup of coffee and just enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of this great house with the mist rising from the lake and the geese flying overhead. There were neighbors out and about but no one was loud or in any way bothered us.I would have loved to have seen this place before they remodeled it...just so I could juxtapose the two. The way it is now just seems so natural and right...it's hard to imagine what it was like before. Regardless, the way it is now I'd rent it again in a minute - and we plan to!My only complaint is that it ended way too soon!

This was an amazing house. We were looking to do a golf weekend with the guys and found this place. Beautiful views and the house was completely updated and very nice. Being on the lake was amazing. I can’t wait to get back to Lake Lure again.

Perfect Lake Lure spot
A fantastic location coupled with an impeccable clean, cozy cabin, and very accessible hosts made this a perfect getaway. The duck couplings in the adjacent cove along with an evening snow our second night just made it heaven. We will definitely be back!
