Perfect setting and met all of our needs. Second time staying and would again. We are not dog people but would never have even known that dogs had been staying there in the past. Kudos to the cleaning staff!

Husband & I were in town for a quick annual Marquette weekend for a bike race.
Place was super clean & exactly as listed.
As others have said the bathroom is a tight squeeze. Not a problem for us but could be for a larger person. Covienently located & great communication!
We enjoyed our stay & would recommend it.

This little cottage is perfect for a couple and people traveling with dogs. It is absolutely adorable, very comfortable, and has an awesome fenced in yard. We have a little dog and medium dog and they had SO much fun sitting on the deck with us and wresting in the yard. The bed is super comfy. Location is great, we walked to the beach each day and used the bikes to bike to the Presque isle trail. We also walked downtown for dinner! Host is very communicative and so friendly. We are coming back next summer!

Lovely little property in a great quiet neighborhood in downtown Marquette. Spotlessly clean. Easy communication with the owners. Check in was very simple. Great back deck and a well tendered to fully fenced in back yard. We were able to travel with our pets and we greatly appreciate that. The bed was comfy, lines and towels soft. Bathroom is pretty small but was not an issue for us. Shower was great/good water pressure etc. we would def stay here again! Thanks Greg and Kate!

Cozy cabin in a great location. Close to beach access, downtown Marquette, and walking / biking trails.
Great outdoor space with a nice size deck, and fenced in yard for our dog that traveled with us.
Great communication with host.

We loved our stay in this cozy cottage. 2 blocks from the beach and a very walkable mile or so to breweries and restaurants, we parked the truck on arrival and it didn't move until departure.

The little cottage was perfect for 2 of us and our small dog. The decor was so cute and so retro. Perfect location close to the lake and within walking distance to downtown Marquette. Greg was a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Loved this cute little cabin near the beauty of Lake Superior. Easy access to the trail and beach! Very comfortable bed. Cozy bathroom but very clean and functional. Did not get a chance to use the bikes but will if we visit again! Thank you Greg and Kate for sharing this gem!

Greg and Kate's little lakeside cottage in Marquette was an awesome place to stay. It was super comfortable, immaculately clean, and in a great location.
We had a great stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I would definitely consider staying here again. The cottage is quaint and clean. The owners have gone out of their way to provide thoughtful touches and the decor reflects local culture. We slept great! -In part due to the quiet neighborhood and cooler weather, but also because the bed is pretty comfy. The shower is powerful with hot water to spare. (Pull the disc underneath the faucet down to divert the water stream.)
A few other pointers:
Bring small garbage/shopping bags.
The toilet positioning in the bathroom is suited to smaller framed people, but can be managed if you are “slightly” overweight. If you are especially tall, you will be challenged.
The stovetop is gas and has 1 cooking temperature (high), so plan your meals accordingly. There is a toaster oven, regular oven, and microwave. There is a charcoal grill outside (with charcoal provided).

This cottage was pleasant and in a great location. The cottage is small, but it was adequate for our stay in Marquette. We would consider staying here again.

A lovely little cottage! Loved the neighborhood, and loved the yard! Lovely flowers and a great roomy back yard! Next time I will bring the dog! The hosts were very gracious; added a lot of little "special touches" for guests' visits.

We loved staying at Greg and Kate’s. The communication was great, as was the location. It was perfect for my husband and I for a short trip to the area for a wedding and some hiking. We decided to not bring our dogs, but it would be a great place for our furry friends as well. The backyard was beautiful and peaceful and a lovely spot for morning coffee. Centrally located between Presque Isle, Third Street businesses, and downtown and about a block from the water. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Cozy cottage was a welcome respite to re-group between our camping in the porkies and pictured rocks area. We were able to re-stock groceries in town take showers (yay!) and do laundry. Maybe we should bring our dog next time since he would do very well here in this dog friendly house!

We were up for the Beer Fest and loved the cute, little cottage and its location. I thoroughly enjoyed the beach a 1/2 block away. The private back patio was very nice and relaxing! It was a BEAUTIFUL weekend so I definitely got my steps in. Thank you for the welcome gifts! Until next time . . .

we would definitely come back, only thing we noticed was just some mold growing on the black blades for blowing in for the window air conditioner

We've been staying at the cottage when we're in Marquette since 2018. Always enjoy our stay.

The cottage was nice, although a bit small. The bathroom was very tight. Extremely convenient to the beach(1/2 block) and downtown 1/2 mile. Everything we needed was provided and the host was always available if we encountered any problems. We would recommend this cottage to others seeking to stay in the Marquette area.

Very relaxing. Just what I needed. As always, the owners have the home clean and well supplied with everything one would have in a home. All you really need to buy is food. I was able to see some of the events that were happening on Fourth of July weekend. The weather turned out great…just one day of rain. Thank you Kate and Greg for letting me and my dog stay there again. Enjoyed every minute!

Greg and Katie's property was perfect for my wife, myself, and our dog. We have stayed at a few rentals in Marquette along with a lot of the hotels and this was by far our most enjoyable stay. Having a private yard for our dog made for a really enjoyable stay. The ONLY thing I would say (which has been stated in other reviews) is that the bathroom and specifically the toilet area is very small. If you are a larger/taller person or have mobility issues you might have a difficult time.
Being 100 feet from one of the most popular beaches in town and a walk/bike/run from all the breweries and restaruants on 3rd st and downtown was our favorite part. There is a biking/running trail that you can take pretty much anywhere in town and the rental provided great quality bikes.
We will be back!

A perfect place for my solo getaway. Quiet, cozy, great location. The bed is super comfortable, the private yard is lovely and Greg and Kate have provided everything one could need. Easy check-in/ out. I hope to stay again!
