We were looking for somewhere to stay in Shenandoah county, for a long-weekend we wanted to fill with hiking, winery and orchard visits and seeing some of the small historic towns. This accommodation was perfect for our needs, not being far off from the places we wanted to go, and we were very comfortable during our stay.

Went up here for Labor Day. Plenty to do around Basye and just a short drive from Shenandoah. Lots of hikes close by too.

This one bedroom space was delightful. The space was relaxing and enjoyable. It was easy to get to and worked well for me. My children and grandchildren stayed in their own space and this was a great retreat for Gramma. The walking trail right outside the door made exercising easy. Being surrounded by nature really added to the feeling.

Quiet place in the country
My goal was to have a comfortable spot to stay while exploring the natural beauty of the area. This was perfect. Anaya was very communicative and wanted to be sure everything was ok. Comfortably appointed and very clean place to rest in the evening. The location itself is not a resort so have plans to tour around the area during the day unless you just wanted to read. Bryce Mountain Resort is a couple minutes away as is Lake Laura, which has recreational amenities for a modest fee to the public. There are lots of other things to do around the valley, but plan on driving through the beautiful countryside to get to them. Definitely an area to get away from it all! Very relaxing!
