Venez prendre des vacances dans ce cadre champêtre paisible à proximité des collines de Hocking. L'appartement Sunset est situé dans notre grange à l'extrême droite. Il dispose de 2 chambres au deuxième étage, une avec un lit queen et une avec un lit complet, vous pouvez installer 1 lit bébé debout pour 1 personne supplémentaire. Il comprend 1 salle de bain avec douche carrelée, une cuisine entièrement équipée, une table avec 4 tabourets, un bar avec 2 tabourets, un coin salon avec 1 causeuse, un écran de télévision (pas de chaînes de télévision disponibles), un lecteur DVD Samsung avec des applications intégrées , WiFi illimité, (4G LTE parfois, ralentit à 600 kpbs). Apportez vos propres DVD et abonnements Internet. Buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse. Les serviettes et les draps sont fournis. Country Lane Lodging propose également un autre appartement de vacances à cet endroit qui peut accueillir 5 avec 2 chambres. L'appartement Sunrise est situé au-dessus de notre garage pour 3 voitures. Il y a un IGA avec du carburant, un dollar général et quelques petits convives dans la petite ville de Tarlton à quelques minutes d'ici. This rental is very small. There is only a couch and a small dining table, but you would have to move the table out into the room for more than 2 people, taking up space. The shower is quite small, and dark -rainshower is not practical for rinsing shampoo out of thick hair. The beds were comfortable, but there are no windows, so it has a cave-like feeling. There is no central AC & there is only one wall unit in the upstairs landing, vented through the garage -I wondered about the air quality it was putting out. It was 88-94F while we were here so the AC unit had a hard time keeping up. The stairs are VERY STEEP. I almost fell down a couple of times, especially in the night since the bathroom is on the first floor. We have stairs in our house, but these are dangerous. Rubber treads on the wood steps might be a good idea. There is NO INTERNET or cell phone service; no TV. We got one phone to work for about 20 seconds, standing next to the refrigerator. Go to any town or tourist area with wifi.
Overall this rental was very reasonably priced for the area, but you are 30-45 minutes away from everything you want to do such as all hiking trails and the State Park. We may not ever be in this area again, but we wouldn’t choose this rental, even for the price. The steep stairs and the lack of internet and cell service are a deal breaker. We are older (in our 70s) and need to be in touch with the outside world in case of trouble or emergency.

Such a nice, quiet get away for my oldest daughter and myself. Nothing but crickets chirping and millions of stars at night, beautiful song birds and a friendly cat in the mornings. We enjoyed walking with the horses and cows in the pasture. We will definitely stay here again.

Norma and Phil have a beautiful property. It is in drivable proximity of everything we wanted to explore. The place is well kept and clean! One downfall is wifi and phone data are almost non existant, so plan ahead for no way to communicate. But yes we would stay again!

This place is spectacular. Peaceful and quiet. The hosts are available but give you your space and privacy. The farm animals are sweet and Snowball the greeter cat is the best. She had breakfast with us every morning and gave us a great tour of the grounds. At night it is quiet and the fireflies entertained us after full days of intense hiking. The location is a bit remote but perfect if you are not looking for city life. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away!

The setting is like a postcard, so peaceful and serene. Phil and Norma are beyond friendly and helpful. Excellent communication with them. The apartment had everything we needed and was immaculately cleaned. Close enough to Hocking Hills for us, but away from the crowds. Highly recommend and will stay here again if we are back this way in the future.

We had a great 3 night stay visiting Hocking Hills State Park. The apartment was very clean and located on a beautiful and meticulous landscaped property. Our kids enjoyed petting and feeding the miniature horses and being greeted by the curious little cat roaming the property outside. Lots of restaurants to choose in the nearby area.

Very clean and taken care of. Hosts went above and beyond with sending local attractions and conveniences and even leaving the outside light on because we were arriving late. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use again in the future. Only things I would say could use some improvements would be a better coffee maker and more water pressure in the shower. Both of these things are personal preference and would not hinder me from renting the place again.

Wonderful, clean rural property with a full kitchen, which is what our family needed for a speech and debate competition at Ohio Christian University. Eat-off-the-floor clean. I love and appreciate that! One of my boys decided to sleep on the rug on the floor of the bedroom instead of sharing a bed with his brother. I had no hesitation letting him do that! Better sleep for everyone.
I only wish we had more time to explore the surrounding area! We will definitely be staying again in the future.

The Sunset apartment was perfect for four adults. We were greeted by Snowball the cat right when we arrived and were able to enjoying the other farm animals during our visit. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed and more! The property was gorgeous and well maintained and within 30 minutes of Hocking Hills. My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend to hike in hocking hills. The location was great - within 25 minutes to many trails. The property was very nice and well-maintained. Beautiful property, appreciated cleanliness and home feeling, we were comfortable and enjoyed the stay. The price was great and close to the attractions in multiple directions. There was a binder within the apartment for local info, we appreciated that.
Only con was cell/WiFi service. Luckily we wanted to unplug, but it was frustrating to not have the tv and hard to connect to the WiFi with phones or DVD player for viewing something.

This is our family's second time with this rental and it is just as clean and peaceful as when we were here last fall. Centrally located to Hocking Hills, Circleville, and Chillicothe and many other places. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Logan, took a train ride on The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway and horse back riding at Hocking Hills Horse rides. Easy hilly drives to our locations. Expect spotty cell phone and wi-fi signals at this rental and while driving to certain destinations. Plan ahead and screen shot your directions when heading to Conkles Hollow and surrounding area. Relaxing area and rental. Looking to book for a weekend soon.

Everything about this property and the surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful! The location is so convenient to all the attractions for Hocking Hills, Chillicothe, Lancaster, and Circleville. There is a resident welcome wagon between the mini horses, cows, birds singing, hummingbirds, butterflies, and Archie the adventure cat. Norma and Phil are both great on many levels, went above/beyond, and provided super helpful ideas/recommendations before and during our stay. I will recommend this property to all my friends – 5 stars for sure!

We chose to go to the Hocking Hills for our family vacation this year and we were not disappointed. We had no idea Ohio held such beauty. And this property was perfect! We were close to everything we wanted to see. It was in a rural area, but all the conveniences we needed were within 2 miles of us. The Stoltzfus family made us feel as though we WERE their family and we truly felt at home here. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and so memorable. You may just see us again!
