Superbe loft contemporain rénové de 1875 au coeur du centre historique de Vicksburg! Un espace «wow factor» bien aménagé pouvant accueillir confortablement 4 personnes, offrant une vue imprenable sur la rivière depuis le toit-terrasse. Marcher à manger unique, boutiques et sites historiques. Situé au-dessus d'une célèbre galerie d'art Mississippi, l'espace est la maison de rêve d'un artiste. Les 2 400 m² Plan d'étage ouvert Ft dispose d'art unique et un mélange de mobilier contemporain et antique. Le loft a un lit king et un lit queen avec deux canapés et un planeur (pour ceux d'entre vous qui ne sont pas du sud, c'est un lit de repos qui balance!) une salle de bain complète avec grande douche, buanderie, cuisine complète et terrasse sur le toit pour regarder les incroyables couchers de soleil. Le loft est équipé de wi-fi et d'un système de sécurité pour votre confort et votre sécurité!

We absolutely loved our stay at Chris’s loft. It was very peaceful, comfortable and clean. A very unique place to stay and within walking distance to alit of restaurants and museums.

Loved the accommodations. Chris the owner very laid back and flexible for your schedule. We checked in early and checked out late. Property was spacious and georgeous with plentiful amenities. Great location downtown for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

We, as a group of 4 retired teachers, absolutely loved our stay in Chris’s loft above her gallery. She welcomed us in and gave us a tour explaining what we needed to know to make the visit perfect! We had everything we needed plus more. Chris had even done some Christmas decorating which made the stay so festive.
All the artwork was amazing in the loft- such an eclectic assortment. Rooftop was great even with the weather being a little cool. Sunset? Wow! Beds were very comfy. We were right in the perfect location for shopping and good restaurants. I personally loved the art, lamps and book collections so much. ❤️

We truly enjoyed our beautiful downtown loft stay. The loft has everything you want or need. We were able to walk to eat dinner every night, enjoy the park within walking distance, and even enjoy the beautiful murals.

We loved everything about our wonderful three days staying in the Loft above H C Porter Gallery. The views and amenities were terrific. We enjoyed all of the art work. We walked to the Civil War Museum, which was incredible in breadth. We had fabulous food at Rustys Riverfront Grill and at 10 South Rooftop Bar and Grill where we had a wonderful view of the mighty Mississippi River and a memorable sunset. We loved Vicksburg. The people were friendly, and we loved our temporary home at The Loft, also with a river view from the rooftop terrace. Lydia was very helpful and friendly at the gallery. We will definitely return. Also the Military Museum was a high light.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely and comfortable loft. Located near many restaurants and shops, it also has a great view from the roof deck. Our host was responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The loft was fantastic for our soccer weekend! My daughter has decided that she wants to be an artist! The rooftop was fun and the elevator was a Godsend! Chris let us know if eateries near by and we enjoyed our time there!

We we're there for a convention. Our VRBO was the envy of all. This is a beautiful and spacious place. It is in a great location for walking to everything. As a host, Chris could not have been more attentive and gracious. Beautiful location with a rooftop patio overlooking the river.

This is an excellent place to stay which is down town Vicksburgh MS.
Chris is a superb host who treats you like a celebrity/VIP. The property is located close to all the attractions and to all the great restaurants- most in walking distance. Great lay out and has a deck over looking the river - great sun sets . The place is very clean and open with every thing you could possibly need. Perfect stay for a couple or a family with children. I highly recommend this stay.

If you're wondering if the pictures of the loft are accurate the answer is yes! The loft is a huge open space beautifully decorated and super clean. It's located in the historic district of Vicksburg over the owners art studio. There are stairs to get to the loft but the owner is in the process of installing an elevator. We ate at Rustys and 10South. Both delicious. Our full day was on Sunday but we did find enough to stay busy all day. The Vicksburg National Military Park and USS Cairo in the park are a must see. The owner Chris is great to work with and responds quickly. Thank you Chris for the beautiful place to stay! We had a wonderful time! Dave and Stephanie.

This loft was a fun find for our two night stay in Vicksburg. Location is fabulous for Military Park and downtown. Owner is wonderful to work with. Stairs could be an issue for some, but she’s putting in a elevator!

Vibrantly Vicksburg!
I had a wonderful stay at this incredibly spacious loft apartment in the heart of historic Vicksburg. Chris, my host, made me feel like an old friend as she gave me her (roof)top to bottom tour of the site. Chris is an artist, and the apartment in lavishly bedecked with many of her attractive Mississippi-themed creations. She was quick to respond whenever I had a question. The location is an easy walk to many of Vicksburg’s historic homes and museums, as well as several excellent restaurants. I felt very safe downtown, and the streets tended to get quiet fairly early, even on the weekend (I was there in January). Street parking only, but nearby parking places were easy to find. Highly recommended!

Property host is amazing; engaged and showed property which includes a multifaceted indoor space plus a spacious roof top that includes incredible views of Vicksburg’s water ways.
The location is in downtown historic Vicksburg and a short walk to an a Civil War museum, fine dining, and must see Art Galleries.
Staying in this loft is more like a home given it square feet and living zones.

Beyond expectations.....
And we really did not have many expectations but when you enter the property, you know you have set the VRBO bar higher. Chris and Lydia are delightful, they provide a tour of the loft, which is needed. There are so many wonderful aspects to the stay to mention -
- Beds are super comfy.
- Space - 2,000 sq ft of open but filled with cool furniture, wall art, just so many interesting gems to spend time with.
- Music. The CD collection is the best.
- Clean, clean, clean.
- Feel like at home, kitchen stocked ....
- Roof top view is amazing and in warmer weather would have enjoyed more.
Is not for your average hotel traveler but in the most best way. Only place we will stay next time through Vicksburg :)

Absolutely Stunning!
We had an absolutely wonderful time! We've wanted to visit Vicksburg for a while to study local history and such. This stay was so much more than that. I cannot explain to you how much we loved our nights "at home" in the loft. We loved listening to Chris's collection of CDs and reading the books that were there. There was anything you could want in the kitchens and the entire place was immaculately clean. If you stay, you must get a homemade dessert from Walnut Hills and enjoy a drink or dinner while the sun sets across the street at 10 South Rooftop Bar and Grill. I'm a seasoned VRBO person and this was my favorite experience to date!

Large loft over an art gallery, with a great rooftop view. Only caveat is that it is not at all ADA accessible and requires being able to climb multiple stairs. If that is not a problem, it is a cool place.

Great location and even better accomodations!
All was as described and even better in person. The loft was well furnished and loaded with all the amenities one would like. We made a delicious Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. Sunset from the rooftop was amazing and the soft glow of the lights made a romantic setting even better. The bathroom and shower were tops and very comfortable. Walking distance to anything fun in Vicksburg. Totally enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this loft!
