Loved our stay on the lake. It was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature. The house was very cozy and extremely well stocked. The location was perfect for rafting, a tour of the Kenai Fjords, and day trips to Hope and Cooper Landing. Sylve was an outstanding host and went above and beyond in caring for our needs. Would love to return in the near future.

Everything with the house itself was perfect and the location is absolutely incredible. Right on the lake with beautiful views of the mountains. Loved it. Will definitely stay here again. The owner is incredibly helpful and the checking process was seamless.

Wow! This house has everything you’ll need. My boys loved skipping rocks and playing with the neighbors dog.

Great home base for exploring the kenai peninsula. Easy drive to multiple locations. We arrived in Anchorage. Stopped at beluga point and Girwood then on to the lake house. Next we went to Homer and a couple days later Seward. And on the way back to Anchorage we stopped and cruised prince William sound. Best part of each day trip was retuning to the lake house to relax by the lake with beautiful colored water and amazing Mountain View. I would definitely stay here again

Our stay at the Kenai Lake House was amazing. The views and peacefulness when sitting by the lake are indescribable. We wanted to experience the beauty of Alaska on our vacation, and this cabin allowed us to do that and more.
Aside from the awe-inspiring view, the cabin was very clean, well-stocked and super comfortable. The host was lovely and helpful. If we have the opportunity to return to Cooper Landing, we will definitely stay at the Kenai Lake House again!

The Vrbo listing does not do this home justice. Absolutely spectacular views of the surrounding mountains from the front porch, as well the private beach out back. From catching lake trout a few yards from the house, to watching Dall sheep on the green mountain slopes, our family had a great stay at Kenai Lake House! The home itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for an extended family - especially with the available outside cabins. And we have never stayed in such a well-stocked home with nearly any amenity you could ask for! Did I mention that fresh baked cookies were waiting upon our arrival? Thank you Sylve for sharing your home with us and we can't wait to return again one day.

We loved our stay at Sylve's Kenai Lake House. The location was a great central spot to tour the Kenai Peninsula. We were able to visit Homer, Whittier, Seward, and Alyeska. It was an easy drive from Anchorage. The cabin itself was well stocked, comfortable, and Sylve's cookies were great. One thing we loved about the cabin was it's easy access for my 82 year old mother. Sylve was great to work with and very flexible. The views were amazing and we loved watching the first snow hit the mountains.

This was the first of 3 houses we stayed at while in Alaska and by far the best. It was spacious, very clean, and the host, Sylve communicated quickly with any questions and even graciously when we locked ourselves out at 10pm.
The location of this home is phenomenal and everything you would need is available. I would love to stay here again someday and would highly recommend it. Thank you for sharing this gem in the woods!

The property was wonderful and just as advertised. The house and location are beautiful. We had a fire on the beach, the sunroom was a great place to relax and read and Cooper Landing is a beautiful area. Sylve was a great host and responded to my questions quickly. We all want to come stay again and stay longer. Definitely a five star vacation.

We three couples enjoyed our stay! The home is conveniently located near everything we had planned…floating, fishing and hiking! My hubs and I stayed in the cranberry cabin and it was was nice to have our room! The home was clean and the instructions were clear. communication was excellent. Totally recommend!!!

We LOVED our time at this adorable and charming cabin! It felt like home the second we walked in and were greeted by a sweet note from Sylve and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! The beach access is incredible and the views are breathtaking. This cabin had everything we needed and more - we really enjoyed playing CD's from the eclectic collection too. We were at Kenai Lake House for a week and it was perfect for our wants & needs. Beautiful setting on the lake with awesome views. We could have had better weather (cold and rainy) but we made the best of it. Amenities were plentiful and the space was more than we expected. To top it off, Sylve left us homemade cookies; yum. Thanks for sharing your space; we loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay on Kenai Lake in this charming home. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. There is plenty of space and everything we needed was provided. Very quiet and private with a fire pit and seating on the beach. Highly recommend.

What an amazing lake house. The accommodations were perfect for the four of us. Sylve left fresh baked cookies and the house was clean and comfortable. What makes this place so special is the location, right on Lake Kenai with unbelievable views. We were able to take morning kayak trips on the lake and enjoy an evening campfire. It’s centrally located for fishing, hiking and sightseeing. Couldn’t ask for a better place. Thanks Sylve for sharing your place!

The house was absolutely perfect for our 9-day stay in the Kenai area. My husband fished the rivers and the girls hiked everywhere from Byron Glacier in Portage to the Tonsina trail in Seward to the Kenai River and Hidden Lake to the beach in Kenai. The house was so well located for our adventures! We loved walking the beach in the backyard looking for heart stones in the evenings and enjoyed having a campfire right on the lakeshore. The house was loaded with supplies and was so well stocked!! Loved the homemade cookies Sylve made upon our arrival. We even saw a bear amble across the yard early one morning. Perfect house—perfect stay!! Thank you so much!!

Sylvie was a great host, the property was as described and we will be coming back again. I’ve stayed in Cooper landing before and it always better with a amazing view, comfortable place to stay and the freedom to do what you want, when you want. We would highly recommend staying here and if you are on the fence, just go for it. You will not be disappointed. Sylvia’s welcome packet is very detailed and we are not used to the thoroughness so we actually missed it for the entire first day. It was right under our noses. We are used to a text and that is it. Thank you Sylvie!

Sylve,, the host, really thought of everything we were left wanting for nothing as the property is astoundingly beautiful. It was a great stay for the six of us to stay in for a few days.
She even left us a jar of fresh home made chocolate chip cookies which were amazing!

Amazing property!
My family and I had the most amazing stay at the Kenai Lake House. The cabin was clean and well stocked for all of our needs. The view is spectacular and the fact that you can walk straight out to the water was so convenient. We spent a lot of time at the lake, fishing, watching the float planes land, and just relaxing by the water. Sylve was a pleasure to deal with and even baked us cookies. Yummy! I wish we could have stayed longer. This was a trip my family will never forget.

Nice house in a very beautiful setting on a lake with Mountain Views! Quiet, family friendly home, well cared for that has everything you need for exploring the Kenai peninsula. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but minutes away from stores. Would definitely go back!!!

Perfect Property!
Staying at the Kenai Lake House was the perfect way to end our trip to Alaska! It had everything needed to enjoy some down time; and centrally located to so many fun places to explore on the Kenai Peninsula. Sylve was an exceptional host and incredibly responsive to any of our questions...even months before arriving! I would highly recommend staying here!

Awesome Property
This property is absolutely wonderful. The house is very comfortable and clean, but we spent most of our time outside by the lake. It is an absolutely gorgeous setting and very very relaxing and peaceful. We booked the two extra mini cottages, for extra sleeping. And brought some stand up paddle boards and life vests with us to enjoy the lake. We definitely made some lasting memories!
I almost hate to give an honest review of this property for fear it will book up!

We had a fabulous weekend at the perfect spot on the lake. Stunning views, cozy beds and all the amenities! Kids loved the lake spot and bike riding around the quiet neighborhood
