Other than a few household problems we had a very enjoyable stay. Some of the things the owner can look at are: there was only one extra blanket for all three bedrooms. Shower nozzle in the guest bath needs to be upgraded it did not work properly. Sliding screen doors very difficult to open either off the track or bent. Only one burner could be lit on the barbecue had to remove the grates and the shield to manually light the other four burners. The kitchen sink faucet is frozen in one position and cannot be swung side to side. Many of the games were missing parts and cards to the particular game. a four-day stay We we’re informed at the last minute, just before entry to the home that the washer did not work. This caused an inconvenience due to our four day stay. All in all we enjoyed our stay with exception of the few inconveniences that we had to deal with.

We came for Thanksgiving 2022 and had a relaxing stay. The house was located directly on the river and we were happy to find the dock still available this late in the season. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner. The beds were comfortable and the home had all the amenities necessary for a family of 4.

Home has a wonderful deck for river and star gazing and a beautiful new hot tub. We spent most of the time on the deck when not out floating on the river or tasting wine or walking through the redwoods. Conveniently located but quiet. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved the toys!

Enjoyed all the amenities that were included for the stay, enjoyed the water for swimming and scenery.

Everything you need for a getaway, close to town, all amenities for floating, kayaking or paddle boarding the river. Well-stocked kitchen with plenty of spaces to retreat and relax.

The six of us--parents, two adult kids with partners-- TREMENDOUSLY enjoyed our stay on the river. Great for just hanging out.... wine touring.... beach ratting.... soaking in the cool ( but, unfortunately, thank you drought/climate change!) low (but not too low) river. Gonna do this again!

This is lovely property. We had all the comforts of home plus the added bonus of river front views, hot tub, floating dock and paddle equipment. We loved to kayaks and paddleboards and the dock was a wonderful spot to just relax and enjoy the birdsong on the river. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful tim..it was so relaxing and being able to sit out on the deck for coffee and then evening drinks was amazing.. so we’ll stocked..the kids had a wonderful time plating in the yard..too bad the weather was rainy and river so low but it did not stop them..thank you for one of our best!

Great place for a getaway with friends. House is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked if you’re interested in cooking. Close by to the redwoods, downtown, wine tasting and golf course. Short drive to the coast, Santa Rosa and Healdsburg.

We enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and fully stocked with everything we may need. The neighborhood was nice and quite.

Nice inside and deck. Not nice outside. Check in time not accurate. TVs don’t work- should not be in “amenities”. Owner never returned our call for assistance on day one. Not in five days! He knows his check in time isn’t accurate on Vrbo site and on his rental agreement. Doesn’t care.

The house and grounds were perfect for our family, which included an infant of 10 months. The house itself was exactly as advertised, it was well-maintained and close to town. We stayed in August, the weather was great, generally a high between 80 and 88 each day. We used the outdoor deck constantly, it provided a perfect relaxation spot with a nice river view after our midday activities (generally hikes or the beach - see below). You are literally right on the river when you stay here, which is a huge plus versus other rentals in the area that are 'near' the river but not right on it. It was super convenient walking downstairs to the dock for a quick swim in the river or for a longer kayak, paddleboard or canoe excursion, and you have no need to deal with parking / crowds around a public river beach. This house has everything you'll need for the river. There's also a fairly large rock in the middle of the river a quick kayak / paddleboard trip away, so if you have even semi-adventurous kids, they'll love climbing on the rock and jumping off of it multiple times. We visited Armstrong Redwoods multiple times (less than 10 minutes away), and each time was fantastic. If you're an early riser, you can grab a coffee from one of the two local shops in town that open early and drive 5 minutes to Armstrong and walk through the Redwoods in the morning, which was amazing, you basically have the place to yourself (you can park in the lot just outside the visitor kiosk and walk in). The Pioneer/Discovery trails are great for those early morning walks, but they got fairly crowded during the middle parts of the day, so we opted for the East Ridge and Pool Ridge trails, which have many fewer people because they have some elevation gain (nothing too bad, good for a workout). This property was also a great base for exploring the coast as we went into Sonoma Coast State Park several times. We explored the Kortum Trail, which is on a bluff and is mostly flat, and we went to Shell Beach, which is extremely beautiful with great sand that's not too sticky, interesting tide pools, and an overall great, peaceful vibe. We tried Goat Rock Beach as well, but it was incredibly windy when we went so we turned around and went back to Shell Beach. We had no issues with the property or with our trip despite COVID, and with all the outdoor activities, it was easy to forget COVID even exists for awhile. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we visit the area.

We loved this house and location on the river. We had a couple issues arise but the owner worked hard to get them addressed. Would love to come again.
