All aspects excellent minor negative is hot tub chemicals overbearing and outside/deck need pressure wash and landscape clean up. Perfect for a family and proximity to amenities. Comfortable beds. Charcoal grill so plan for that. Owners are responsive. Recommend this property!

We hosted our annual cousin camp (ages 18 months to 9 years) at Cedarhouse this year. The baby items were most helpful and appreciated. The house was clean and so much space. We never used the hot tub but there was one on site. Location to the resort amenities was awesome. Loaded the kids in the back of the pickup and easy trip to the pool or lake. Host was easy to work with. Would recommend Cedarhouse!

This home is in a great location as it is a short walk to all the amenities (pool, lake, mini golf, marina, etc). All the beds are comfortable. Great home for our family vacation!

This was our 3d time in Rumbling Bald resort but first time on this property. We really enjoyed our 4-day family vacation in this beautifully decorated house. We could tell that the owners put a lot of thought and work to make sure the guests are comfortable. Beautiful location and quite a few things to do in the resort and in the area. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Thank you so much!

House was clean, bed was roomy and comfy. The large bay windows throughout the house gave us great views. We had a great time until some contractora came buy at night to drop off some supplies. Not a big deal but we were in the hot tub when they came. However the next.morning were were awoken to the pest control guy who came in to spray the whole house. That left us frustrated so we left early. Loved the house, not so.much the the interruptions! That was frustrating.

The house is very spacious and clean. Very easy to access. The host and house are awesome.The hottub had an extreme amount of chlorine in it....this would be my only complaint. The chlorine was so strong it would take your breath and burn your eyes...I came home with tiny sores on my lower body, due to my skin being so dried out from the chlorine.

The Cedar House was great for our getaway from Greenville with my daughter’s family visiting from overseas. More than plenty of room..my grandson loved the foosball table and we had a movie night. Close to the resort and not too far to drive to Chimney Rock and area restaurants. We would stay again!

We chose this house because it was a midway point for us to vacation with family members in other States. We were surprised to learn about the resort amenities, such as the pool, tennis courts, beach, and miniature golf. We also explored the Biltmore estate and climbed Chimney Rock. It is a great location. The hot tub was not functioning correctly, and when I contacted the property manager, they responded quickly. They were able to get a temporary fix sort of working the same day. Overall great location and property.

We had a lovely stay at the home and found the location was perfect. We had plenty of room for our family of 8. We loved grilling out and found the kitchen pots, etc. were ample for our dining needs. Also, having two refrigerators was great for storage. We were disappointed in the dining options within the resort on a Monday evening but made do and enjoyed Bingo at Legends. We rented a pontoon boat one afternoon and highly recommend it! Our favorite highlight was finding a nest of baby bunnies in the backyard—so cute!

We had a wonderful time with our weeks stay. The house was very clean and is in a wonderful location in the Rumbling Bald resort. We did have a small issue with the AC upstairs but the owners responded quickly and the property manager was very quick to respond as well, and she was extremely helpful with fixing the issue. Overall, we would highly recommend this property. We hope to return in the future to stay again.

Overall property is good for short stay. Feel like overall maintenance of property is lacking. Home overall was clean but could use some updating with pots and pans and other kitchen items. Low water pressure in master bathroom, parking for 2 cars would be max. Traveling with more would want to leave car at pool area. If hot tub is important to you would look elsewhere. We soley were looking for homes with a hot tub and was notified a day before check in that hot tub was not working. Also overall TV set up was lack luster. No TV in main living room only in master and downstairs. Community does have indoor pool and activity for kids which was nice.

We stayed in Cedar House for Christmas with our children, adult children, and grandchildren. The house is beautiful and very clean. It has lots of space to spread out and plenty of sleeping options. The trundle bed next to the master turned out to be perfect for our younger children. Honestly the pictures don’t do the house justice - it is very spacious. The owners made everything very easy for us and we enjoyed the indoor pool down at the Wellness Center. Would love to stay here again.

We renting this on a short minute and everything was excellent from start to finish. The house is beautiful, warm and inviting. Only thing to watch for is parking area is small. Three cars fit but it’s tight and the driveway is steep with a break over but our Ford Mustang made it without issue. We are already making plans for our next trip up!

I stayed for a week with my husband and another couple, and we had a blast! The cabin is perfectly located, nestled in the woods but close to the club house. We played tennis- the courts were fantastic- cornhole, horseshoes, and just relaxed.
The kitchen is well stocked with all cooking needs, including a crockpot, the beds and couches are extremely comfy, and the hot tub was spacious enough for all 4 of us. We would absolutely stay again!

Cedar House is a gem! Impeccable cleanliness and responsiveness of the host. Comfortable new beds in HUGE bedrooms. We were delighted with unexpected surprises. Watching the hummingbirds right outside our kitchen window and on the deck. The best surprise of all was the fire pit!! Rumbling Bald amenities are terrific and CLEAN. It all added up to a very enjoyable weekend on the last perfect days of Indian summer.

We needed a weekend getaway to the mountains. This was our first trip to Rumbling Bald. The cabin was just as advertised. It had plenty of space for our almost two year old to run around and explore. The simplicity of the cabin decor made for a safe child proof environment. We didn’t spend much time in the cabin because there was so much to do inside the resort. Everyone in the resort was super friendly. I played both golf courses while my wife and little one enjoyed the beach and the pool. The food at the Legends on the Lake was great. They catered to our GF requests (great GF Pizza and wings). We will definitely be return renters. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. The home is well appointed and tastefully decorated with everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. It was very clean, comfortable bedding, and separate thermostats upstairs and down meant everyone was comfortable for a good nights sleep.

Great house- negligent homeowners
The house itself is wonderful, clean and very well supplied. The problem we had (no hot water for more than 48 hours) resulted from the owners allowing the gas tank to run empty, thus resulting in a completely avoidable issue that was then mismanaged. This mismanagement further delayed restoration of the hot water. Then, only once I requested, did the owners offer a minimal refund of less than 10% (not even the equivalent of one night’s stay) despite the fact that we had NO hot water for well over a third of our stay. Hopefully the owners have learned (at MY family’s expense) to keep the gas tank on auto fill with the gas company in the future, but you might want to ask before you make your reservation.

My husband and I along with our children and grandchildren and my four brothers their children and grandchildren rented 7 houses around Lake Lure for a wonderful week of family time and reunion. My husband and I stayed in your lovely home along with my daughter and her family and enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was well maintained and easy to use. We would certainly consider returning in the future!

We had an awesome time!!! The location to all the amenities is perfect and the house was spacious and clean. The beach on the resort is clean and quiet, definitely not too crowded. The pool area was awesome and just a short walk down the hill. We would love to come back and stay again next year!!!

There is plenty of room in this rental. Everyone can have their space or common areas allow comfortable family togetherness. Location in resort is great. We enjoyed our stay in this rental. The driveway has a steep incline so be prepared to back out. Traffic on the street is light which made this ok. Thanks for sharing your home!
