The unit was as described on the internet. Access to the pool and tennis courts was great (2 minute walk), and access to the nearest beach was equally good (5 minute drive or 20 minute walk). Unit was quiet and good for relaxing.

The A/C system stopped working, and the repairman, who arrived shortly thereafter indicated that the a/c system could not be repaired immediately, and perhaps could not be repaired on the following days because it needed a new PBC board which was not available. Additionally, the unit was out of warranty (installed in 2013), and the owners would have to approve the major repair. Apparently the unit had been problematic for some time, with multiple prior repairs. We were moved to another unit given the anticipated delayed repair time. I would recommend this unit as long as the a/c system issues have been permanently remediated.

Close to amenities and pool as well as local restaurants. You do have to take a shuttle to shipyard beach or ride bikes. Comfortable beds, towels, dishsoap and dishwashing supplies provided. Villa could use a few updates such as paint and furniture. Balcony furniture as well. The area is quiet, close to shipyard golf course which was a plus as my son loves to playa round of golf while on vacation. Overall stay was a+. First time visiting hhi which was relaxing and stunningly beautiful. Also, we checked in on sunday after hours. All information and instructions were provided via lock box which was very helpful. Downloading the app was help to find the codes to enter to home, pool, and tennis courts. Great location within Shipyard and Hilton Head Island

The owners of the condo have not maintained it and has a host of issues wrong with it and some of it posed a health and safety concern. The repair team came the last night of a five night stay. Vacasa should have inspected the property and informed the owners of what needed to be done before renting it out.

The condo is tired and needs fixing. Paint is peeling, The carpet is warn and has several major stains, in particular in the middle of the bedroom. No coffee was provided even though there was a coffee maker! Unacceptable!

The location to the beach. Just a couple minute bike ride or walk to the beach.

It is in dire need of “deep cleaning” and replacements of carpet, couch, master bedroom mattress, shower door in the main bathroom, and patio furniture. Whole place needs to be renovated, painted and updated. All these areas were filthy. Had to cover couch with a blanket cause it was so dirty. No one felt comfortable sitting on it, let alone sleeping on the pull out. The recliner had a very uncomfortable spring in the seat. Thick dust, dirt, and cobwebs on windows, outside doors and lamps. The condition of the deck and patio furniture was appalling. Paint is peeling on the windows and around the ceilings. The dryer vent was blocked and we needed to have a maintenance guy come and blow it out, because it took multiple cycles to dry one load. A real fire hazard. I could go on. Overall not anything you expect and hope for on your vacation that’s supposed to be relaxing and carefree. It was anything but.

Location very good. Everything was sooo nice. The unit could use little improvement example deck, living room furniture especially couch, toilet in 2nd bath flushing weird,little painting spruce up, overall grounds and unit quite nice. Near pool was ideal ,

Should have been able to get into unit earlier. It was already cleaned. And actually we’d heard unit was empty week before us so can’t understand the reasoning in making us wait. And especially we’d been in our units at spinnaker snd needed to transfer everything including groceries and perishable things you. Since we’re owners already at shipyard should have been shown Lil more consideration

Everything felt cozy and homey. I love the fact the house was cool when we arrived. That was definitely a plus by it being muggy and very humid outside. I also love the fact we had 2 gators on our lawn when we woke up. I thought the signs posted were just for kicks. We were very excited to see that.

The only thing I didn't like was there weren't enough trash bags available. We were only given 1 extra bag for 3 nights and 4 days.

Evian is one of our favorite locations on the island -- the location for this unit to the pool was great.

The unit is falling apart -- with wall peeling, dirty floors, dark bathrooms, uncomfortable living room furniture and bad matrasses.. all of them
