Only stayed for one night but if I visited Lusaka again I would definitely stay for longer. Beautiful big gardens and pool. A very calming place. The room was big, clean, decorated nicely and comfortable. Staff lovely and the resident cat and two baby tortoises were very sweet. A very pretty place.

Could do with a kettle in the room. Only because everywhere else we stayed had one and it's great to have a cup of tea in your room. ☺️

We absolutely loved this private lodge. The staff was so friendly, so helpful, always smiling…Amazing people. Excellent location. The room was specious and very clean. The gardens and pool was looked after very well. We had dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious. I loved the ginger cat called Nairobi. He was looked after well too. We have been picked up from airport on time. Amazing and very peaceful place. I wish we could stay longer….

Absolutely nothing we did not like.

Wild Dog's Lodge was a brilliant place to stay in Lusaka. We had a day between our safari ending and our flight out of Zambia. We wanted to continue the safari lodge vibe rather than stay in a standard hotel and this was perfect. The rooms and communal areas were really comfortable and I enjoyed a swim in the pool. Lovely grounds and the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

The staff at the Lodge could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Always happy to chat to a solo traveler. Dinner was excellent and the room immacutely presented and clean. Very convenient for the airport.

Peaceful location about 30 minutes from airport. Attractive, well-maintained grounds, simple but well-equipped en-suite rooms. Very clean. Staff extremely helpful. I arrived late evening from airport to find kitchen staff ready to cook dinner freshly for me. Lovely swimming pool, long enough to get some proper exercise in. Punctual pick-up from airport in comfortable 4x4 vehicle. A very comfortable stay. Thank you!

Wild Dogs is a wonderful little oasis in Lusaka. While a bit more on the outskirts of town, the main parts of Lusaka were easily accessible by taxi. The grounds are quiet, beautiful and well-maintained - and the pool in particular is a nice to spend some relaxing hours around. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The food - both the breakfast that's included as well as the other meals - are delicious!

I can't think of anything that could have made our stay any better. I would be happy to come back to Wild Dogs again soon!

Little oasis for a stopover and a bit of R&R before traveling home. Wonderful team running the lodge and they offer a very efficient airport transfer. Would love to go again.

Such a nice, friendly place to stay between flights/safari trips. they even accommodated our vegan diet and the food was lovely. Thank you to all the staff, who were all so nice! We will be back.

we actually were relocated to their sister location down the road "Pioneer Camp" where we had a super little thatched chalet. it was beatufully done with a large bed and moskito net decorated with fresh flowers on the bed and in the chalet, it was quiet and safe away from the hubub of the city , we woke in the morning to hear birdsong, the little bar was lovely with superb local food - Nshima and goat curry as well as other dishes ... a real lovely end to our stay in Zambia before getting the shuttle back to the airport the next day for our departure

the road to the place felt quite long and was in terrible shape... but this is not the fault of the lodge and is the same all over Zambia... just be prepared and if driving yourself make sure you have a suitable vehicle!
