The family was an absolute delight. Helped arrange my stay, had interesting conversations and truly cared for their guests. What might seem like small intentions like a traditional cup of tea when sick or take you see a sunset did not go unnoticed.

Le Morne is a quiet small village. But just to meet these lovely people makes the stay completely worth it.

Good location in Le Morne with easy access to transport. Good facilities. Clean and friendly couple running the place.

Close to the main road. Can be a bit noisy.

I had a lovely time at Sunflower Residence and enjoyed the stay with the family away from the tourist crowds. Everyone here was so helpful with organizing, traveling advices, and there was a daily, freshly cooked dinner :) If you want to experience the country and local culture, this is your place to stay!

It was very close to the beach.

We were not welcomed by the owner which isn’t a must but it felt kind of weird. Then the first right room on the ground floor (where we stayed) was sadly completely wet. It was a dark room with no real window to the outside. The sealing was full of water leaks. It smelled like mold in there and everything we had was completely wet after seconds being in there. After sleeping there two nights we couldn’t take it anymore and left. I don’t really know how the other rooms look like, but this one is a real health risk. Constantly breathing in Mold isn’t really a health pushing thing. Also the Refrigerator and the kitchen both sadly were kind of dirty. The refrigerator smelled really bad and there were many dirty spores inside. We stopped after two days and just moved on. The owner came at our Departure and told us we could get another room. She seemed kind of understanding the problem and that’s the only thing why this review isn’t as bad as it possibly should be. Personally I think the owners know about the mold and that this one is not the only room in this condition. Still renting these rooms and therefor charging so much for it is just a complete scam.

We really enjoyed our stay! We had clean, nice room with own bathroom and shared kitchen, livingroom and terrace. Wifi works well and hot water is running. The owner is extremely friendly, kind and hospitable, cooks great food and makes sure everything is well and rooms are clean. Thank you!
