We absolutely loved this condo!! Everything about this property was perfect- the location, the gorgeous beach (a rare commodity in The Keys), the beautiful grounds, and the awesome pool. The central location was perfect for exploring the Keys in both directions. Michael was a phenomenal host. He called before we left for vacation with check-in instructions and many suggestions for a perfect stay. The condo itself was beautiful and extremely well-stocked. My husband and I always tend to over-prepare for vacations- literally, this condo has everything you could want from beach towels to shampoo-not to mention a fully stocked kitchen. Travel light! I forgot to bring my magnifying mirror that I use to put on makeup. Imagine my surprise when my sons told me there was one in their bathroom! Also, my sons made me take a moment the night before leaving to go down and lie on the lounge chairs to look at the stars-I highly recommend it! Can not wait to return.

We loved everything about our stay at this awesome condo in Key Colony Beach! The location is ideal, it is close to several fabulous restaurants and attractions yet it is in a very quiet area. Its central location in the Florida keys made it very convenient and easy to visit Key Largo, Marathon, Islamorada and Key West during our week-long stay. The condo has its own private beach with soft, white sand and beautiful clear water. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching lots of boats pass by from the inlet nearby (Vaca Cut). At the end of the street (about a 3 minute walk) is Sunset Park. We walked there every evening to watch the amazing sunsets.
The condo is beautifully decorated, super clean and well-appointed. . .even beach towels are provided! Communication with the owner, Michael, was phenomenal. He provided clear and easy check-in instructions and called to make sure we had everything we needed. I had mentioned to him before our trip that my husband enjoyed sleeping to the sound of an electric fan. Michael made sure a box fan was waiting for us upon check-in. He also provided great recommendations for area restaurants and attractions.
This is our favorite beach vacation rental of all time. Our teenage son has already asked "When can we go back?"

This was our first visit to the Keys but I hope it won't be the last! We had a great vacation. We have in many vacation rentals and surely this one ranks at the top of the list. First, Michael is a wonderful host who makes vacation planning easy. Next, the condo itself is great. The beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked, the place is clean and seems to have everything you could need or want. The beach is amazing, we often had it and the pool all to ourselves. The Key Colony neighborhood is safe and quiet. Sunsets are amazing. We snorkled at Looe Key from Bahaia Honda State Park, visited the turtle hospital and Dolphin Research Center, spent a day in Key West, kayaked at Curry Hammock and enjoyed the beach and pool. You cant go wrong with this condo! Thank you, Michael!

Loved everything about our stay except the stairs. I wish we would have known that there was no elevator or if we could have stayed on a first floor. My husband is 75 and the stairs were a little too much. Other than that everything else was perfect. We would definitely go back and stay again on a lower floor condo. Wonderful host! ❤️

We found your place on Vrbo and It was fantastic! The place we stayed was everything we needed. Relaxing , beautiful the view was beautiful and the beach is very nice and great chairs to relax, and take in the beauty! Micheal was amazing host and very helpful to help with ideas where to eat, get groceries, and just so Grateful he alllowed us to stay and enjoy 30 years. Loved just a short walk to sunset park to watch the beautiful view of sunset !!! If looking for a place to relax and enjoy a vacation , we give it a 10 out of 10!!! This property has all the amenities of home with an amazing view, private beach and beautiful pool. The full size kitchen that was stocked with all the pots and pans was perfect for making meals for my family.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious; plenty of towels and great water pressure.
The sandy beach was beautiful and we found many sea creatures to entertain us.
Property owner, Michael, was fantastic and informed us of all things "Keys" to do with the kids.
Steps from the condo was Sunset Park, where the whole neighborhood gathers to watch the sunset together... singing the Marathon Song aloud! 🎶

Everything was simply wonderful! The Condo is just beautiful with all the comforts of home, the grounds are very nicely maintained and I can't say enough about our Host, Michael, he is beyond a phenomenal Host. You can tell he really cares that you have a good stay and goes above and beyond to make sure he can help you have it! He contacted us prior to leaving for vacation, offering many suggestions and giving very helpful insight for our day trips, checking in on us after we arrived to ensure all was going well with our stay and when he found out we had a sizeable delay the day of our departure he had even more suggested stops on our way to the airport!
The location of the condo is really perfect... located about half way between Key Largo and Key West it allowed for day trips in both directions. We don't travel like this much so this was a big vacation for all of us, my husband and two kids 18 & 22...We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!! The private beach was by far the nicest we saw during our stay! Peaceful & Relaxing - and the pool was always clean and welcoming as well. Planning on a return trip!

From the minute we opened the door, we knew we made the right decision to stay here. Condo was perfectly decorated for a beach vacation, adequately supplied and in a wonderful location. Only steps from a private beach and pool. Watched the sunrise from our beach and sunsets from a 5-minute walk to Sunset Park. About a 60-minute drive to Key West. Host called us prior to our arrival to make sure we have everything and offered appreciated tips throughout the week. We would definitely recommend staying here

This property is absolutely beautiful. The beach is small but, private. The condo and the condo grounds are well kept and super clean. Marathon is a sleepy little beach town so traffic was pretty much nonexistent during our stay and restaurants were easy to get into. We drove to Key west which was a little over an hour drive and was so fun to explore for the day. I highly recommend this condo!

We could not have been happier with our stay in Key Colony. Both the condo and the property are as great as described. The beach area was great. This was the ultimate vacation one could ask for. Condo was equipped with everything you could possibly think of. The entire complex was well kept and every neighbor we met was very warm and welcoming. The beach area was so serene you could just drift away in the sound of the waves. This property was perfect for my husband & I. The condo is well equipped, and very clean. The area is quiet & traffic is light, but close enough to Publix & restaurants. We really enjoyed just sitting on the beach & grassy area watching the fishing boats go by. Other guests & owners were friendly too, and the property manager, Patty, was on top of things. Very relaxing vacation!

Gem of a location and SUPER HOST!
We had a blast… the place was equipped with all we needed for a week on the water with extended and immediate family! Michael was incredible from start to finish! He definitely goes above and beyond in the planning department and is a fabulous and available resource! Our family had fun making memories on the boat, on the beach, in the condo, at the pool, etc! We can’t wait to come back! Just book it- you can’t go wrong here with this incredible choice!

The condo was clean with everything we needed an more. Michael’s communication was clear, detailed and he made himself available for any possible questions or needs during our stay. The location was quiet but also very convenient to anywhere we wanted to access in Marathon or beyond. The grounds were well maintained with a quiet and non-crowded community. This property was perfectly located. Marathon is big enough to have options but not too big. Key Colony Beach is a great place. Dive shops, restaurants, and activities are all very close. We would stay there again our next chance to visit the Keys.

PERFECT
The condo, grounds, and location were exactly what we hoped they would be. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Our condo owner Michael was on top of everything . I had 3 emails with more info than I could have imagined. They were very helpful since this was our first visit to the Keys. The condo also had just about anything you might need if you forgot to bring/buy something. Key Colony is quiet and very pretty. The only downside to our trip was a tropical storm was moving in our last day and our flight got canceled last minute. We were able to book another flight further north and made it home just fine. Michael was on top of this too. He called to make sure we were aware of the incoming storm and that we were able to get another flight. He even asked if we could drop out rental car off at a different location. We already had everything scheduled but I truly believe he would've done anything he could've to help us out. Thanks Michael. I can't wait to come back.

Had a great time at Michael’s condo. He was extremely attentive to our needs. Excellent communication and made the entire stay very easy. Beautiful location, easy drive to get where we needed to. Very short walk to appreciate the sunsets every night.

Idyllic vacation spot!
We had an amazing week at this property. It was clean, equipped with anything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. All of the other owners and visitors were exceptionally friendly and respectful. The owner is so easy to work with and willing to help with anything you might need!
But the most amazing part of course is the location! It’s just a few steps from a beautiful little private beach with crystal clear water and white sand. Our elementary school kids loved both the beach and the pool, and it was nice to be able to run back to the condo in less than a minute for anything that we needed.
The Marathon area has lots of great restaurants and is very family friendly, and we really enjoyed venturing to a few beaches on Bahia Honda as well.
It was a perfect week, and we would absolutely come back!
