This was a great property a little off the beaten path. It's not within walking distance to the beach. Beach is only a 6 min drive. You have to pay to park anywhere on Tybee Island so keep that in mind. We had an issue with bugs and a blown breaker. The property manager was quick to respond and have someone out to spray and show us the breaker box. The house is located on a marsh so plan for misquitos. Though it gives you a great view. We loved the outdoor shower after the beach. There is another garage type bulding that's on the property. Wasn't expecting to share the property but the individuals staying there were respectful. Could use more towels at the property as they only provide one per person and oven mitts. We loved the tree swing in the evenings. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Tybee.

This place was amazing and was easily enough to hold the 10 guys we had for my brothers bachelor party, it has easy access to the beach and bars on Tybee island, and also wasn’t a far drive from Savannah.

After an amazing wedding celebration in Forsyth Park and the Alida Hotel, we planned to enjoy some relaxing family time together. Rented 3 properties for 16 adults and our house was by far the best for small and large family gatherings.
The floor plan is quirky, especially the bedroom situation. (Obviously a major add on to create higher occupancy). The kitchen/dining area was perfect for several large brunches and it was great for games, cards after a beach day and dinners out in Tybee.
It would have been nice to have more provisions for 10 guests, although we were only eight. There was no coffee, oil, minimal bathroom amenities(soap was so tiny, 1 provided per bathroom, so we immediately had to buy soap, etc.) coffee, toilet paper and everything else as soon as we got to the house. In our experience with home rentals over many years, this was the first time that the home was so minimally equipped. However, the kitchen dishware, cooking appliances, glassware, etc was very generously provided. So that small consideration would go a long way in improving the guest experience.

The property itself was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly as a young family traveling with kids and grandparents. The master bedroom and living room have beautiful windows overlooking the back yard and marsh area. However, imagine our surprise when we returned from dinner our second night and another car was in the driveway. The side building we thought was storage turned out to be another rental - which was listed no where in the property description. The windows from this side building look straight into the master bedroom, impacting our privacy as I am still breastfeeding. We kept the curtains closed the entire stay and were only able to wake up to those beautiful views one morning out of our week long stay. The back yard area also ended up shared and the rental company was not bothered when I voiced my concerns or mentioned the discrepancy in the listing. The beach was about a 10 minute walk away, which was fine for us, but problematic for our parents. All parking on Tybee is paid at $4/hour, which adds up over a week. We were also located very far from the pool (and you have to pay for parking, of course) and from the main Tybee shops. Overall, we would not stay in this location again and were quite disappointed.

We choose the property simply because it was handicapped accessible, the 4 rating only reflective of the “whole” house was not. It is extremely difficult to find handicap accessible, so we were grateful and appreciative! If was very clean, it he lights flickered frequently, manager aside due to wind, lol, still kind of scary to us, we turned the lights off! Had an AC issue, which was handled expeditiously. Would definitely rent again!

Had a great stay at the Cupp Castle. All things were as advertised and the weather was great too. The home was conformable and relaxing, my only recommendation would be to add some outdoor patio furniture so we could all enjoy time together outside in the evenings or mornings.

This home was perfect for my senior Girl Scouts final trip. The girls wanted to see dolphins and spend time on the beach; and the leaders wanted them to visit the Girl Scout house in Savannah; so this house was the perfect inbetween. Nice and quiet neighborhood, an easy drive to the beach, and a short drive to Savannah. Home was clean, and had ample space for all of us.

The home was very clean and comfortable. The layout was a bit eclectic and interesting, but nothing that presented any issues. The really winner of the entire property is the beautiful back yard overlooking the marsh. There's a large amazing oak tree in the backyard that we were able to use as a backdrop for family photos. Quick 5 minute drive to the beaches and dining on the southern end of Tybee. Great stay! Thanks!

We had 2 families staying here, including a toddler and the house worked very well for all of us! We were able to set up the toddler in the extra living room at bedtimes so he wasn't bothered and could sleep with ease. There's a great little surf shop down the street and only a couple minutes drive to the beaches, which was perfect!

Good, clean stay - unique and difficult layout
Overall, this property was clean, spacious and beautiful. The beds were comfortable, there was ample space in the common areas, things were clean and in good shape. The management company communicated well to make sure we had the repairs that were needed promptly. However, there were a few things I wish I'd know before we stayed. This property shares a yard and dock with another rental. This was not a problem, but surprising to have someone on the backyard swing looking into the main house windows while we were inside. Also, the second living area and kitchen are only accessible from the outside or through bedrooms inside the home. This made things tricky once people had gone to bed or rooms were in use. We had napping kids and so to access the other side of the house, we had to go outside. Again, not a problem, but certainly a unique layout to know about in advance. I did like that the laundry room was large enough for our twin's pack and plays - very helpful to know about in advance.
Suggestion for management - make a designed front entry. We had a maintenance crew enter one side of the home while I was on the other and unaware. This was very scary to me as there were all of a sudden three men in the other living room while I was there alone with my three young kids napping and elderly grandfather. If they had knocked on the main door, I would have been alerted to their arrival. Also, we had a new staff member come into the rental while my uncle was napping which was very unsettling. She was confused and at the wrong property and I've discussed with the supervisor, but a nametag or marked vehicle would have helped.

First time
This was our first time to Tybee Island. We liked it. The house was great. It was laid out a little weird because you had to walk through a bedroom to get to the other kitchen and den. But it was still nice. No bathroom in the master, but the bathroom just around the corner was great. Loved the beach it was definitely a decent walk though. We just loaded all our stuff in the truck each day and dropped it off. The one negative at the beach is that there is no bathroom…anywhere…unless you make the long haul to the pier. I heard that from other people on the beach as well. But…we’d go back. And the house was great, so we’d stay there again.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very well appointed. We did cook there several times and it had everything we needed. The big table was great for family game nights.
My only disappointment was that the master bedroom didn’t have an en suite bathroom. I didn’t realize that from the description.
The Southern Belle staff were very attentive. They checked in with us the first day & were quick to respond to any questions.

We loved this beautiful home! It is so well appointed - fluffy thick towels, excellent bedding, well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of space for us to sprawl out and the view out of the back window was stunning. Tybee Beach was as much fun as our time in downtown Savannah.

What a great place to stay! I can't recommend this property enough. The property management company was fantastic, as well. They actually checked in a few times to make sure everything was going well. Anyway, we had not been on vacation in a while and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more than we did.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! It was exactly as described and very comfortably fit 12 adults. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware. There weren't any spices, oil, etc so definitely plan to bring your own if you'll be cooking (not a huge deal at all- just a heads up for future bookers!). Location was great, about a 5-7 minute walk from the beach. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Great hangout!
My family and I loved the Cupp's Castle! It was a great hangout spot in between trips to the beach, pool, and Savannah. We had plenty of space for 10 people and it could easily fit more. The kitchen was awesome to make a whole meal for the family and the table was great to gather. The highlight of the trip was early wake ups and riding down to the lighthouse for sunrise. Early morning coffee on the dock was also the best! The pool was great! We loved going their to chill for daytime before dinner.
Bring your bug spray for the evenings. Bugs are easily managed on the water with that. Also bring extra kitchen towels and paper towels. Make sure to pack any cleaning supplies you may need (Clorox wipes, etc.)
The location was ideal for us. It was easy to get in and out of Tybee with very little traffic. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back!

off the beach but close
The house was really nice with two kitchens. Our teens enjoyed the loft and the master bed and bath were great. Nice dock but water is only there at high tide. If you are staying with another family, it is extremely nice to go to the other side of the house for some privacy. Internet / TV worked well. Beach is only minutes away. Breathtaking sunrise on beach on Easter morning. Can see top of lighthouse from backyard.

The property and accommodations were great. Please note: If you use the front door you will need to travel through on of the bedrooms to get to the other side of the house. We found the back kitchen entrance to work best for our group. The pool is much smaller than the image perceives. Also, it did not seem to be heated. The beds were very comfortable!! Might need an extra spatula for cooking. Also, only one dish rag was available and no hot pads. Just a few things to bring if you plan on cooking. The house was large enough for 11 of us!
