The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the location - 3 pubs that do food and shops for groceries only a minute walk away and only a short walk down to the lake shore. We particularly liked having the space of self catering but having breakfast included at the B and B owned by the same owner , Frances. The breakfast was well cooked, presented well and very hot.

The hosts have really gone to the extra mile with the place, and run the cafe next door so are easy to reach. The place feels like it has been newly done up and is really comfortable and clean. When we got there the heating was on and there were even blankets on the sofa. The hosts have provided anything you might need for your stay. Absolutely loved the shower!

The apartment was lovely and very central, had everything that you needed. The owners were extremely helpful and at hand. Would highly recommend this property, a wee gem in the Lakes!

Lovely apartment in lovely location. close to shops, pubs and restaurants and 15 minute walk to the pier. Perfect location for hiking and exploring the lakes.

So many things to like. We stayed 5 nights. We were super late to book in as we drove up from heathrow, and they waited for us to handover the keys and show us around. The apartment is furnished to a super high standard, lovely furniture, kitchen fittings etc. We were 4 adults and didn’t feel crowded at all. The bathroom has shampoo and conditioner, there was milk and orange juice in the fridge, crisps and chocolate, condiments etc. The TV is great with Netflix included. The apartment is in the perfect location in Coniston within 1 minute of 3 pubs selling excellent food, and the local Spar selling everything you need. It was our first time staying in Coniston and it is brilliant, less busy and touristy than Grasmere or Windemere. We would come back again without question and would love to stay in the apartment again.

it would be good to introduce a recycling option in the apartment, maybe a split bin. great place though.

Furnishings and decor of a high standard. Beds were comfortable and dressed with good quality linen. Nice large walk-in shower. Well equipped modern kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean. The apartment is in a great central location and parking is usually ok.

Both bedrooms and lounge windows have a view of the side of the hotel a few yards away. The bathroom needs a blind at the window. The entrance is down a dingy passage. No wardrobe in twin bedded room. The church opposite the apartment chimes on the hour every hour day and night!

Central location..Very comfortable apartment which was exquisitely furnished. Every amenity required for a four day stay was available. The apartment is near the lake, shops, cafes ,pubs etc and there is an abundance of outstanding walks on the doorstep. Even the weather was good. There is no outside place to sit but it was so near the lake and surrounding parklands that it doesn’t matter. The apartment is also well insulated so noise isn’t a problem. Frances was welcoming and the proximity of her excellent cafe was an added bonus.

Great location. Very clean and lovely apartment in centre of Coniston. Tastefully decorated. Towels and bed linen great. Welcome pack appreciated. Very straightforward communication with owner. Lovely spot, lovely place would go again.

Not a dislike as such. The apartment has a great but compact bathroom/shower room. If there had been 4 adults it would have been tight to manage towels, toiletries etc.

10/10 for me. Couldn’t fault it. The apartment is superb.

Breakfast at the owners cafe was extremely good and very covid safe. Location of apartment is exceptional Very comfortable beds
