Cette première location est parfaite pour votre escapade dans le nord du Michigan! Cette maison est idéalement située dans le village wallon et est à distance de marche du magnifique lac wallon. La plage publique est juste en bas de la route; il y a de nombreuses locations de bateaux à proximité pour louer un bateau pour la journée et profiter de l'eau! This delightful A-frame cabin is nestled amongst beautiful trees and a short walking distance to the lake and to the city. It was exactly what our family needed to rest, recharge, and enjoy each others company. Whether outdoors reading quietly in a heavily wooded area, taking a stroll to the beach, or making daytrips to Petoskey, Charlevoix, Boyne City, and other beautiful local destination - this rental was ideal. We are grateful for the opportunity to rent it and hope to do so again in the future. Don't miss out on your trip to this beautiful area. Also - their is lake access at the end of 4th street. That wasn't clear to us when we arrived (didn't want to intrude on someone's property), but a great place to go kayaking or otherwise enjoying beautiful Walloon Lake. The rental service was friendly, responsive, and a delight to work with. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed, was comfortable, spacious, and accommodating. Management is very responsive and helpful. The location can't be beat. We were close to the foot and close to the lake. There was easy access to the path. This home is a charmer!

Comfortable & clean home on a quiet street with all the amenities. Took off a star because there was no furniture on the back deck, which would have been nice for morning coffee or a meal. The furniture on the front deck was uncomfortable/outdated patio furniture from the 1960’s. A nice add would be a fire pit/solo stove and a gas grill, charcoal grill was provided.
Would stay again if the Cottage was available.

I grew up going to my parents cabin near the village of Walloon and could not believe how beautiful the downtown looks. The lake is as spectacular as I remembered. The cottage was in a perfect location, a ten minute stroll got you to town for lunch at the barrel back, an ice cream or groceries at the general store. The cabin was very nice and had all the essentials. The only issues we had was the bathtub was constantly dripping, the garbage disposal didn’t work and the electric outlet by the coffee pot only worked off and on. Nothing that we couldn’t adapt to just thought the management company would want to know to address.

Pointed out many problems after our arrival on Friday, finally heard back from property manager on Monday. House was not clean, we had to clean our refrigerator from prior guests, empty the dishwasher, tub in guest bath was filthy due to a constant leak that they were aware of. Floors were sticky, windows filmy, just not a good experience. We did get to meet the neighbors because the can opener was broken, had to clean the coffee pot and the coffee grinder. It is in a good location, Walloon is a nice small village to stay in.

This home on Walloon Lake was a lovely! It truly was a pleasant surprise—the location was great, the property itself was exactly as advertised, and the photos were an accurate representation.
The home was spotlessly clean, very nicely and comfortably furnished, and the kitchen was well appointed with dishes and cooking necessities.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay, and we definitely would book this property again!

Nice spacious cottage
The communication with our contact Megan was easy and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the cottage very well stocked with supplies. Be ware of large street drain near where you back out. It is very deep and I unfortunately drove through it. This is a nice place and you will enjoy your stay.

This rental was nestled into a perfet little street just off Walloon Lake for our Memorial Weekend stay. The living areas were very spacious, clean, and well organized and equiped. We were able to check in early with the help of the property manager Megan - she was helpful and prompt with her responses. Wonderufl cottage for warm and cold months.

Wonderful place!
This cozy, clean cottage was perfect for our little vacation! The location is great whether you want to stay on Walloon Lake or venture to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Bay Harbor etc. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens and with excellent instructions on check-in/out. We would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

A True Gem, Highly Recommended
To be honest, we wondered about an A-frame on wooded land, near but not ON the lake. Those slight concerns were immediately erased upon arrival. This is a lovely home, completely modernized and so very well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, as was all the furniture in the main living areas. The kitchen is well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The baths were nice, particularly the master bath, with its own dressing area. Huge closets make it easy to unpack and feel at home right away. Our little granddaughter and her daddy slept in the loft of the A-frame, and she loved her nest up there! Highly recommended!

A cute place in the village of Walloon
Nice furnishings, comfy beds in both main floor bedrooms, and the place was very clean!! We especially appreciated the ample selection of pots and pans and dishes for a family dinner. Very nice!!

August Walloon Lake Getaway
The house was very clean upon arrival. I love the A frame cottage style. The bed In the master bedroom was comfortable. We really enjoyed the location of the property. It was just a short walk or bike ride to the village. The only slight concern we had was with communication. On the day of our arrival, I asked about extending our check out time to 11:00 and did not receive a response back. Other than that, the property was well kept and we would recommend it to others.

walloon Lake rental:
We found this rental to be great. The house was equipped with a full kitchen that had everything you need to cook a meal. We found the bedrooms to be comfortable too. It was a good location since you're close to Petoskey. However, limited things to do on Walloon Lake unless you have your own boat. Two restaurants within a 15 min walk as well as small store. The rental company made the process of checking in and out a breeze.

A very clean home! Well stocked and accommodating. Also a good location to be tucked away in a quieter, intimate setting, and still within walking distance to the general store and restaurants. We have two young children and they, too, enjoyed their time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Everything's better at the lake!
The house was great and everything was either as expected or exceeded our expectations! We loved the house and the property. It was nicely appointed with comfortable beds and bedding, a nice living room, and a large kitchen with all kinds of cookware and utensils and appliances. We loved that all 8 of us could sit around the dining table for meals. We loved the location- Walloon Lake is huge and gorgeously crystal clear! The village was only a ten minute walk along the lake to go get premium ice cream cones. The little beach there was perfect for the kids to play in the water. We got curbside pickup from the Barrell Back restaurant and were really pleased with our meal there. Our only regret is that we only stayed for a long weekend and not a whole week.

Excellent Stay on Walloon Lake
Enjoyed the cabin, the area, and the lake. All are well-maintained. The only tiny issue we had was with paper products - had to call for more trash bags and only one extra roll of toilet paper but both bathrooms ran out. Very minor detail but could be easily rectified by communication with cleaning business, perhaps? Otherwise, loved it and will stay again!

Excellent location. There was plenty of room and the home was immaculate. I’d recommend this property to anyone staying around Walloon lake. Also a short drive to Petoskey and Boyne.

Michigan getaway
This house was clean and comfortable. It was located a few minutes from the lake with a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants in The Village. We would definitely stayed here again!

Great location with lots of space.
We had six adults staying here for the weekend for a wedding at the Walloon Lake Inn and it was more than enough space. It's about a 10 minute drive from Boyne City which was also super nice and only about a 10 minute, easy walk from downtown Walloon (very convenient). The cleaning fee was a little expensive, especially since we were only there for the weekend, but I can see it being reasonable for a longer stay with more people and kids. The front patio was also adorable, I wish we would've had more time to enjoy it!

Great home base to explore from
Our family of 4 had a great time in the area and this home was a nice place to rent our heads at night. Close to Walloon Village and tucked in a quiet area. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the "bedroom" with the 2 twin beds is a loft space that is open to the living space but our kids were so tired from playing all day that they fell asleep fairly quickly!

The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathrooms were nice. Would definitely recommend. Only issue we had was the lock for the property. It was a little tricky to work. We called Kidd and Leavy and they were extremely helpful with walking us though how to use it. Great place!

A beautiful cabin-style home with great views
We absolutely loved this house. It's been beautifully remodeled, and the A-fram cabin/rustic feel is just awesome. The street it's on is probably the nicest street in the neighborhood. 150 yards from water access. Everything was clean and spotless. We were were completely relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Megan was very pleasant, and made the process super easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Special place, great location
Fantastic property. Cottage was clean, plenty of space for our family of five. Awesome kitchen space and open concept living/dining room. The property is a 10-15 min walk to the village. Village is super cute and has all you need. Only issue we had and our babysitter had was using the lock to get in. It was a little tricky at first but I called the property manager and she talked it though to us ASAP. Would definitely recommend.

If you are looking for a place to get away from all the crowds then you have to stay here!It was so quiet and we loved being out in the woods,but also close to a lot.The house was beautiful ,clean and served our needs perfectly.We enjoyed using the fireplace and all the room that this house offered.We would love to come back .I recommend this property to families that appreciate time in Northern Michigan.We would definitely rent this house again!
