Great location, plenty of room for everyone.
Breakfast provisions were truly generous and everyone enjoyed their Cereal, juice, coffees, bacon, eggs, bake beans and toast. Owners very friendly and helpful providing a guide to their home and how heaters etc worked. Look forward to coming back here again.

We were happy with the house. It suited our needs. Good location. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast supplies were great. So much choice. Wine, cheese and chocolate was a lovely touch.

No NBN connected as stated on Stayz, kitchen sink drain constantly blocking, air conditioner filter very blocked (hasn't been cleaned for some time),Water damage & black mould to ceilings, Windows un-openable, including the most important ones being the toilet & bathroom, no screen doors on doors so unable to leave open due to mozzies, window frames in very poor condition, BBQ was lit in preparation for cooking but gas bottle expired after approx 30 seconds of use. Date on gas bottle not legible. Other issues: x2 stand up fans for x4 bedrooms was not enough especially considering windows can't be opened. Not enough power points, most of the power points in the house are "single outlet" & there aren't many of them. Not appropriate in this modern age where everyone needs to plug in & charge their devices.

A very homey vibe. If would dissatisfy the fastidious but much like a regular home. . Good breakfast selection. 1 toilet for a big group was tricky, shower pressure amazing.. Beds were comfortable. Close to Adelaide. We had a fun time in the area and just used it as a base to sleep.

Overall a very nice stay at this property in McLaren Vale, communications were very good, the check in was easy, provisions plentiful, in fact as good as it gets. It’s an older property so be prepared for that but we found the beds fine, nice shower (the one that was working), big bbq outside, four hot plates, big fridge, coffee machine, great TV, comfortable couches, warm heater. It’s not luxury but perfectly adequate for our needs.

The garden was over grown and in need of a revamp in the front and the back - very untidy particularly the back. If you had small children it would have been rather unsafe around the back..
Pergola area would be great with a all weather roof, and tidy up particularly if you were a family and it was wet children could play outside under cover.
House was in need of some repairs outside with timber coming off under the eves and could do with a paint.
Spider webs needed to be swept down off walls outside
Windows were very dirty and were in need of a clean.
Inside was tired and in need of a freshen up with a coat of paint and replacing the scrim curtaining that was torn.
Cleanliness of the home was ok but carpets possibly could do with a clean.
The kitchen and pantry was well stocked with plenty of food and variety to choose from for breakfast. Certainly showcased local produce which is great.
Plenty of towels and beds well made.
Disappointing that hosts only got back to us the morning of our arrival.
We're thankful we were able to have an earlier check in time for our aged Mother.
Was thankful this accommodation was available when we needed it.

The property is in an excellent location to visit the McLaren Vale area. The abundance of breakfast items provided are a lovely touch however the house is very tired & in desperate need of some TLC. Beds are old & hard, curtains are perishing & the yard is overgrown. The carpet feels dirty & looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. We only had access to one shower as there was an issue with the ensuite shower, which we weren't notified of until after we checked in.

We were booked on morning ferry to Kangaroo Island so suited our needs plus some time to visit McLaren Vale wineries. The breakfast provisions, fruit bowl, bottle of wine and chocolate was very generous. Good communication with our hosts. The house decor is dated but excellent value.

Perfect spot for wedding guests to stay when attending a mclaren vale winery wedding. Owners had supplied lots of different food and drink items (including gluten free options) as well as fantastic wine to be enjoyed by all.

Good location, lovely owners, however this property is in a desperate need of an upgrade, every room is very tired, mattresses are hard on the beds, front and back yard are in desperate need of a tidy up, with over grown weeds, so we couldn't make use of sitting out the back. No WIFI as advertised also wouldn't want to be in this property on a hot day as the air con is a fixed very old wall air con in the sitting room.

A large place in a central location, we enjoyed our time there. The complimentary breakfast supplies were amazing, we had more than enough for our few days. Nick and/or Trish were very quick to respond to any messages. The house was clean but really needs an update in furnishings and some yard work. Oh, and the master bed desperately needs to be replaced or a decent topper added. All in all, a good stay. Thx for having us.

Lovely home with lots of space and great amenities. The outside area was wonderful for dining and the whole house was comfortable and felt generous. Lovely to be greeted by the host and we loved the added touches.

Convenient location walking distance to all amenities inc restaurants and supermarkets. Owners very generous with well stocked fridge and pantry including enough bacon, eggs, tomatoes and cereal plus a variety of teas and coffees for coffee machine. Very comfortable lounge room and dining area. Heat of January was against us though. One air conditioner in living room and two upright fans for three bedrooms. Extra fan needed. BBQ a fabulous inclusion for hot nights. Plenty of large screen tvs in every room. Most comfortable beds are in Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3. Plenty of room to rest. Piano enjoyed by my daughter. Good value all up but house would be improved with some regular and much needed maintenance - only small details though. Thanks for our stay.

Great location and great hosts! Trish’s place is well stocked with lots of unexpected extras - bacon and eggs, bread, cereal, biscuits, chocolate and even a bottle of wine! The property is a little older than some of the other places we have stayed but it it super clean and neat, and the location is the best! The Main Street is a couple minutes away on food and foodland is nearby if you need to do a shop. This is the third year in a row we have stayed here and we’ll be back next year.
