6 friends stayed the weekend here in late August. The host was responsive, the site had plenty of ammenities, and it was a good time.

We had a great time at this property. The living area was larger than expected. The dock was awesome with the ramp for the little ones to get in the water. Their own private beach. Thanks for a great stay!

This lake house accommodated our family of 8 comfortably. Each of our adult children with their partners had a comfortable, clean bedroom to themselves.
The kitchen was very well equipped, we enjoyed creating several family dinners in this space.
As we visited during a hot week we spent a lot of time in the lake which is accessed down a several tier staircase onto a huge dock. Lake Champlain is a wonderful clear, temperate, fresh lake. With the water toys offered it was very relaxing and everyone was happy.

My family from California had a wonderful stay on the shores of Niquette Bay. We spent the whole week on the incredible dock. The water depth and cleanliness was perfect for swimming. Very private setting. Kyle and caretaker Josh were accessible throughout the week. We loved our stay. Thank you!

We were visiting the area for the long holiday weekend, and could not have stayed at a better place! The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was great, and we cooked steaks on the grill. If you want an amazing view, this house is for you. We spent each night sitting outside listening to the water, and enjoying the fresh air. If you appreciate the outdoors, this is the spot!

Love this place! Second time here, and was able to take advantage of everything, the dock, the kayaks, the hot tub, and of course the house. Proximity to Burlington is ideal for a fatty trip while the property provides plenty of privacy. Sleeping arrangements did the trick, with 5 of us in the loft amongst the two beds and 3 air mattresses (provided by the property). Cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Very private location with nice lake views and dock. Had a great stay and Kyle was very helpful with everything. Nice place with quiet setting yet still only 15-20 minutes from downtown Burlington. Highly recommended!

This cabin on the water was exactly what we were looking for to host a bachelor party for my brother on Lake Champlain. The space was the perfect size for our group, and the location was gorgeous and secluded, as well as a perfect distance from downtown Burlington. We used the location as a launching point to visit local breweries in Stowe, and we also rented a boat at a nearby marina. The host Kyle was very gracious and helpful, and he clearly takes pride in the property. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a lakefront getaway in beautiful Vermont.

This house was the perfect place to celebrate our daughter's graduation from UVM. We comfortably slept 12 family members and then hosted a graduation dinner for some of her friends. It was so nice to be in a home instead of fighting dinner crowds in a restaurant. We played games, went hiking, had bonfires at night, the kids jumped in the lake and we spent the last day in town. The view from the deck was beautiful. Would love to come back in the summer.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a local pond hockey tournament. House had all we could ask for, was clean, comfortable and location was perfect between the Lake and Burlington. Kyle was quick to communicate with, accommodated our late check out request and helped make our trip easy and that much more fun. Highly recommend his place - quite clear it’s the perfect spot to enjoy during any time of the year!

We enjoyed a great stay here for 6 nights during a family getaway and skiing at Stowe in Dec ‘22. It is a fine property right on Lake Champlain.
We are a family of four adults. The place could easily accommodate another whole family with each group having private sleeping space and bathroom. Comfortable beds, plenty of bedding and towels. Kitchen has no shortage of dishes and Utensils. Modern appliances include gas stove, dishwasher, bbq, laundry, plus many others.
Hot tub on the deck of master bedroom walkout is quite new and offers amazing lake views.
Easy access to the lake down a set of stairs. The bay is very deep - 50 feet - so it would be fun for swimming off the dock and boating (although our stay was in winter).
Access to property is via a municipally maintained gravel road about 7 minutes from the interstate highway. Road and private driveway are well maintained. Two gas stations are nearby with basics and beer/wine. Burlington is about 20 minutes away with many restaurants and shops.
2 TVs (no cable). Wifi, Karaoke machine (did not try it). Lots of board games. Air conditioning, central heat, fireplace, wood burning stove.
The host Kyle is friendly, quick to respond to questions and very accommodating.
The place offers the best of both worlds - a remote lakeside experience in the woods yet with the comfort of luxury accommodation.

Excellently maintained property only 20 mins from Burlington. Kyle (owner) was incredibly helpful and communicative leading up to and for the duration of the stay.
He was incredibly accommodating and helped with any suggestions we may have needed. The views from this property are hard to beat. It was well worth the stay.

The lake deck outside is perfect and kayaking I’m the lake was a breeze. We are definitely returning
Only thing we recommend is faster internet- I had to do a little work and it was hard to send files so I went to Starbucks which was not a big deal. A+++

We rented this house as a place to stay for our daughter's graduation from UVM in May 2022. Everything about the house was perfect. The house itself was great and the property was beautiful. The view of the lake made every morning and evening spectacular. The house had everything we needed and then some. We were able to have a family cookout and enjoyed cooking smores at the fire pit. Kyle, the owner, was incredibly helpful with suggestions we needed regarding local options. Plus, he came through with my request for good weather!! The house was convenient to UVM and Burlington, but it was nice to have the seclusion of this beautiful property. We hope to come back again!

Nice place to stay and access to dock and the lake was a huge bonus especially being on Mallett's bay which seems to be generally calmer than the main lake.

Perfect get away!
Great location and the home and amenities were spot on! We took our 16 year old son and his 4 friends on vacation and the space was perfect for us, enough space to all be out of each others hair when needed. We include the master suite with full bath in our rental and it was very appreciate, especially going into the jacuzzi just out side our room at night after a great day on the lake. Fishing was great, roasting s'mores on the fire pit was perfect, lake was clean and sunsets were amazing! Only cons were the wifi for the boys was slow and the ladder getting onto the dock was broken but will be fixed soon Kyle said.

A trip down memory lane
The views are spectacular, the water is amazing. The home is well kept and very comfortable for my family of 6 (children, 20. 18, 16, 14) with in-laws in tow. My wife and I graduated from two local colleges and we wanted to visit Burlington after being away for 20+ years but we wanted lake front. This home is outstanding, it's very quiet which is what we wanted. Overall, a spectacular find for my first VRBO experience.

We couldn’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at the lake house! It was literally beautiful enough to host our small family wedding ceremony at and it was amazing! The house was fully stocked and had the most gorgeous views. We enjoyed spending time around the large dining room table, on the very large dock, and making pizzas in the outside pizza oven! It was a home built to help foster life long memories! Thank you so much to the owners who were very accommodating and responsive.

Great spot for a family gathering
The property was beautiful inside and out! Great lakefront setting! The house was spotless and the kitchen very well equipped. We had everything we needed. The property manager was responsive and helpful. Everything was up to date and user friendly. The information provided was clear and useful. Convenient to Burlington.The WiFi signal was a little weak, but six of us may just have been too many for the system. We were there in the Fall, so we didn’t take full advantage of the lake, except for the views. Glad we decided to rent the master suite. Otherwise it would not have felt as spacious with three adult couples. All in all a great stay!

Both pros and cons
The location is superb. The lake view from many areas of the property is beautiful. It is also a natural setting with many trees and shrubs which obscure views from many areas. I went down to the dock for the two clear evenings of our stay and the sunset was just stunning. I couldn't quit taking pictures. Access to Burlington is also convenient, and we enjoyed exploring the town.
Downside is it is an older property with some inherent limitations. The master suite with bath is downstairs accessed by a very steep short treaded stairway. It would be a problem for anyone with any physical limitations. It was also a bit musty smelling, so my wife and I stayed in a smaller upstairs bedroom and were comfortable. I gave an overall rating of 3 inspite of the positives previously mentioned because it just wasn't a VALUE. There were more fees associated with this property than I have previously encountered with a VRBO property. The value proposition just considering nightly rate is marginal. I'm not particularly price sensitive, but I found the inflated total cost related to fees unacceptable for this property.

Amazing vacation
Had an amazing time at Lawton's camp/home. From the very start Kyle was fantastic making sure all my questions were answered letting me know that this vacation was going to be wonderful. The home is as beautiful as the pictures on VRBO everything you need was right there. The en suite that Kyle had opened up for us was a nice touch walk right out to the spa and right down to the amazing dock to fish as my boyfriend did or to just relax and lay in the sun!!! Truly amazing and would come back again next time I'll bring the rest of my family. Grand children will adore this wonderful home.

Must visit
Spent the week at the house with a group of about 10 adults and we had an absolute blast. The house is beautiful and the lake is amazing. The house is big enough to hang out inside if the weather was crummy, but we loved relaxing on the dock.
It is close to Burlington, about 20 minutes so while it feels secluded when you are at the house, it’s not a problem to zip into town.
It was very clean, and well equipped with towels, cookware Ect.
Managing the 1 bathroom was not an issue at all, and there is plenty of room in the loft for air mattresses for people that didn’t want to share beds.
We will definitely book this property again!! It is truly perfect!!

Beautiful VT Lake Home
We, 2 adults, with dogs stayed for only 2 nights, but we enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Beautiful views of the Lake/Bay in the morning, noon and evening. The time we came was perfect because no one else was around, which made it quiet and tranquil. We loved how the home was tucked away in the woods and felt so private. The home is so close to Burlington-- only 20 minutes away if that, which made it nice going to dinner each night. Beautiful lake home that was so cozy, peaceful and perfect during our stay.

Our family had such a fantastic stay for my daughter's UVM graduation! The house accommodated 8 people wonderfully and 1 bathroom was never an issue. Great fishing, beautiful views, relaxing and convenient to Burlington. We'd love to come back!

A few tweeks away from perfect!!
We chose this rental based on location, lake views and amenities. House was well supplied and comfortable including beds & linens. Gas grill grates were rusted thru and need to be replaced, propane heater on deck not working, no chemicals for hot tub and trees around deck need trimming so you can fully enjoy big lake & mtn views.
Concern about raised wood stove hearth within inches of stairs to lower level...was anxious about our son tripping on it and taking a header down the stairs. All easy fixes.

Lake Champlain getaway
We spent a few days visiting family that we hadn’t seen since the start of the pandemic. The Lawton camp was the perfect spot- it’s beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the lake on a snowy day. The kids loved the lift. Kitchen is large abs well-stocked. Driveway is a bit steep but it is Vermont and that is in the description! I would highly recommend!
