Excellent location. Short distance from beach, many restaurants, shops, and bus station 3 minutes away.

The address given by BOOKING only gave the street. We had to contact the owner several times to get the full address and apartment number. On arrival, the owner explained that the reservation included an amount for electricity, but if this was exceeded, we would have to pay the difference. On checking with BOOKING they told us that electricity was included in the rental so don’t pay. There was renovation work going on in another apartment (2 floors up). We indicated this to the owner who told us the major work was finished and there would be little noise. The following day (Friday) we had drilling and hammering all the time. We asked the workers how long it would continue and they said for at least a week. It was impossible to live with this noise from 09:00 -19:00 and so we informed the owner that we were not happy and wanted to leave and have a refund. He refused. So from Monday to Friday we moved to a hotel and used the apartment at weekends. We informed BOOKING of the situation but they said it was up to the owner to give a refund or not, and they could not do anything. When we returned to the apartment at the weekend we discovered that renovation work had started in a 2nd apartment on our floor. They did not work at the weekend, and we left on the Tuesday. The apartment is very dark and cold in the winter.
