very handy place to stop in Black Forest - friendly staff

not a big thing but this is on a busy road - but so are so many places nearby. it’s still in spectacular countryside

The guesthouse is very spacious, and spotlessly clean. The newly refurbished apartment has everything you need, and you can see that the owners have put a lot of thought into functionality and comfort. Although it appears to be on a highway, we were not bothered by any noise at all at night, as there was hardly any traffic, so we slept really well. The breakfast is good, and the homemade food offered by the restaurant is delicious (generous portions too!) 😋 it was a good location for day trips, and is also a ten minute drive to supermarkets. There’s a playground for children, so our son enjoyed the swings, sand, trampoline 😊 If we’re in the same area again, we will stay at this guesthouse for sure

Everything was great, thank you to the hosts. We like beds to be harder, but that’s just a personal preference.

The perfect place to stay in the black forest. Excellent location. Accessable for all the main places. The place is so clean, the room is comfortable and well equiped. Very nice playground for kids. The breakfast is good. And the property owner so kind and helpful. The staff so kind and helpful. Enjoyed every minute

great charm, friendly staff and a great breakfast

We met the landlord in the hotel's restaurant, where we got our keys. Afterwards, he showed us to the shoe room (we were hiking, and they have a special room to store shoes overnight). After check-in, we first had coffee and cake, later dinner at the restaurant. We recommend both. Perfect stay for people hiking along the "Westweg".

Excellent stay in the Gasthaus. Great staff. Clean hotel, rooms and bathrooms. Very nice facilities and top notch quality of the rooms and apartments. We drove here with our cat so very approchable to Titisee and Furtwangen. In all great stay.

The location is amazing and staff is very-friendly. Black Forest cake is must in the restaurant. Highly recommended

Super convenient for westweg hikers, in a beautiful building with a very interesting back-story (read the guest book!)
