The apartment has an excellent location for the summer in the centre of Elizondo with street parking below (mostly very easy to find gaps). The balcony has a lovely view over the river and the town. The bed was comfy and the inclusion of Netflix on 2 TVs was really great. The kitchen area was spacious for cooking. The hosts were very friendly and easy to find as they have a tourist shop close by. When we raised a few issues they were very helpful and fixed them straight away. This is a great place to explore the area and enjoy what the town has to offer.

Any apartment needs regular checking and maintenance and this could have been a bit better. Small issues such as checking that the fan worked (broken blade), that knives are safe (broken blade again), the dining table legs are properly attached and that there are sufficient utensils for cooking and eating (no wine glasses, no saucepan) would have helped - although the hosts sorted these out when we asked. Some of the blinds were also unstable and/or didn't fit the windows. This all sounds very negative but none of the issues ruined our lovely stay - however fixing these would have raised our rating of the apartment to excellent.

The location is brilliant in the town. You are near everything and can walk everywhere. The town itself is also a great base to explore the whole local area. The flat is really well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped so we were able to have dinner in (useful with small children).

It is on the third floor so you do need to go up stairs but the views are great from the windows as you can see right back up the river.

Great location, walk to all of what this small town has to offer. Parking right in front, which was great. Totally new and modern apartment, that had everything you could need. We had the 1 bedroom with balcony overlooking the town and the river - very picturesque setting! The owner, super friendly and helpful Gervasio, speaks enough English to make checking in/out, and getting information about the town, and what to do, or where to go, real easy!! He even had milk, bread, jam, and coffee ready for us to use when we arrived - very thoughtful... Lots of short side trips to go to/drive to when staying in Elizondo. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay, and if we would ever again be in this very interesting Basque region, Navarra, we would definitely come back for another visit!! Don’t just go to the big cities when in northern Spain - explore the green and lush countryside!
