When I was able to speak to them, all staff I spoke to were very helpful. It is an interesting place. The room was comfortable.

It wasn't until after I had booked that I realised that breakfast was not included (I suppose this was my fault but I don't think it was immediately obvious.) I don't have a car so couldn't easily pop into Moreton or somewhere for breakfast. I phoned and spoke to the manager at the college who told me it would depend on whether there were sufficient people on site on the two nights I was there as to whether I would be able to buy breakfast on site. He subsequently confirmed that this would be possible. However, when I arrived for breakfast the chef told me I was not expected and could not have breakfast. However, he kindly agreed after discussion to provide breakfast for me (and I was very grateful that he also provided breakfast after the second night I stayed even though I was the only one having it!). I also had a problem in my room in that it was not possible to switch off the noisy fan in the bathroom and I was expecting therefore to have a night with little sleep. It was not obvious who to speak to about this since reception had closed. I tried phoning from the phone in the communal area but couldn't get hold of anyone. I would have walked to the security staff on the gate but by chance I was then able to speak to one of the other guests who advised me to find and turn off the isolation switch which worked. I reported this problem when I checked out so that staff were aware it needed to be sorted.

the place was absolutely deserted during our stay, which made it very very eerie; very high security getting in and out, presumably because there's lots of fancy fire fighting machinery in the grounds?

Perfect location to explore the Cotswolds without breaking the bank. Very friendly staff, quiet and clean. No fuss, just what you need for a short stay. We were there for the Air Tattoo and for two nights, this place is perfect.

Bathroom is not the best looking but it was clean.

The accommodation was what I expected a college type accommodation within a residential block. Access was fine through a security gate to get onto site although the entrance door going into the lobby of the accommodation block had no security.

Initially door key not programmed correctly requiring a return to reception. We stayed Friday through to Sunday. Despite notice saying room refreshed daily this isn't the case on weekends, Beds not being made wasn't an issue but no replenishment of tea or coffee. so we ran out for Saturday evening/Sunday morning. It is also a 10min or so drive into the town so not easy to get said items once we realised they hadn't been replaced.

Fabulous location for sightseeing and visiting places Spaciousness of the site, swimming and a big gym available too. Parking easy and on site. Did not eat at the residence. Will definitely stay again.

The breakfast situation wasn’t explained to me and I can only describe the guy I paid for the breakfast as a jobsworth he was really no help at all. When I went to pay to check out on Sunday the receptionist a young lad called Harry brain didn’t seem to know what he was doing regarding payment I initially offered to pay with cash but he declined saying cash payments weren’t an option so when I went to pay with my card he said “ oh you booked through booking.com they take the payment from you then they pay us” I said I don’t think so they haven’t ever done that before I said they take the card and account numbers but you pay at the accommodation but he was adamant that’s the way it worked so I asked him to take my name and phone number so someone could call me as I didn’t want anyone to think I’ve walked out without paying

Had to pay £5 for pool and gym. Most hotels have this included now. Reception is very rough looking and could do with a spruce up. Could be off-putting for future guests.

quiet, comfortable and within walking distance to moreton.

No decaf coffee, no spare pillows. Just a couple of minor things, but it didn’t detract from the place.

Quiet and peaceful, room clean and comfortable bed. Similar to a premier Inn or travelodge.

Very little tea or coffee supplied. Despite photos on Booking.com, place is a little run down and the pool facilities weren't available. Hard to find your way around when you first arrive in the dark. It's further out of Moreton than expected so you definitely need to have a car.
