What a beautiful spot! We stopped here for one night on our way to Yellowstone, but honestly wish we had booked another night! The cabins are a little rustic, and you'll want to make sure you bring any food items you need (Coffee!) The area is secluded and quite, a great way to experience the Tetons, and you're within driving distance to Jackson Hole.

The cabin was lovely. It was situated on the lake as shown in the picture. It was a very picturesque setting. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised how well stocked the kitchen was with the necessary things for cooking and eating. Communication was excellent as well as the directions. I will gladly pass along this rental to friends and family!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Budges' Slide Lake Cabin #2 and it was truly a memorable experience. Nestled in the midst of breathtaking scenery, this cabin offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The cabin itself was exactly as described - cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rustic charm added to the overall ambiance, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
One of the highlights of our stay was the absence of Wi-Fi. It allowed us to disconnect from our devices and truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. We spent quality time as a family, enjoying outdoor activities, board games, and simply relishing in each other's company.
The tranquil surroundings of Slide Lake provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the stunning views was a true delight.

Wonderful secluded cabin! We enjoyed our stay so much! Hosts were very responsive and very kind. Directions given were easy to follow. Checkin was simple. We enjoyed watching wildlife out of the many windows in the morning time.
The only complaint, which isn’t really a complaint, is the mattresses could have been more comfortable. Other than that, everything was perfect! Will recommend to everyone we know.

Off the grid is an accurate statement as there is no wifi or cell service at the cabin (there is a landline though). If that is what you are looking for then this is the place for you. We had a wonderful stay and the lake front was relaxing. We even got to see beavers swimming by each night. The only negative was the upstairs loft - it was a little difficult to access and the low ceiling meant you could only walk around up there on your hands and knees. Other than that it was a great cabin.

We LOVED our stay at the Budge’s cabin. The views were beautiful and the cabin was spotless. The location to the Tetons is great and we enjoyed coming back to the cabins after hiking and relaxing by the lake with a campfire. Far enough from Jackson Hole that you can see the stars like never before. We will definitely be back!

Loved the location, the views, the outdoor fire pit, the beds slept AMAZING! Clean and tidy and the owners were were so nice. Will visit again on our next trip. We were able to see Moose on the drive out, watched a black bear on the main road out to this area. The beavers were out on the lake too.

This was a highlight of our trip to the Tetons!! The Budge Cabin was spotless, comfortably appointed and the directions were “spot on”! We planned to grill and stay in for the evening (great choice) and bought delicious breakfast breads from the Idaho Falls Farmers Market as well. I don’t think we would have enjoyed getting back out for dinner or leaving early enough for breakfast. Jane’s suggestion to bring it in was perfect!! We loved the sound of the water and the Osprey babies across the lake.
Perfect for two couples or for a medium sized family (our grandsons would have loved the loft)!! We played games, enjoyed the tranquility and one another’s company. It was a delight!!

This property was perfect for my family during the last leg of our National Parks vacation. It was quiet, scenic, tranquil, and just perfect for family fun around the table and around the campfire. We loved this beautiful little cabin on the water. We fished and bbq as we watched osprey and a beaver. It has a wonderful little fire pit that we enjoyed in the evening. The place is very remote which is what we wanted.

Home was exceptionally clean and well stocked! The setting is just amazing overlooking a lake from a stone patio. We enjoyed watching the beavers swim back and forth and the amazing sunsets reflecting off the water. We also loved the disconnect of no cell or WiFi service. We will be back!

My husband and I took a trip to the Tetons in Sept 2022. This was the best place for us to stay! we needed some time away from everything - just us and nature. Jane, the owner, was WONDERFUL to work with. The cabin was clean and very spacious. The lake view was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed some wildlife visitors (osprey, eagles, beavers, bears) My husband is already planning his next trip back to the cabin. LOVED IT!!!

Coordinating with the property owners was prompt and easy from the start. The owners Jane and Danny are seasoned vets in the hospitality biz, and it shows. The cabin was in immaculate condition, and the views were spectacular. Beds were comfortable and in Cabin 2 [we had 3 adults and 3 kids (6 yo, 3yo and 2 months)], we had plenty of space. It was very quiet, and while remote tucked back off a gravel road, we were able to get to it easy enough with our front wheel drive minivan in August.
Very happy with selecting this location to explore the Grand Tetons and local area from, and we will definitely be back!

All cabins have a georgeous lake view! I extended my stay thus ended up in 2 cabins across the week. Both cabins had lot's of room, were clean, had supplies and lovely views! The owners of the property could be seen about checking on things and were very accommodating. The cabins are just down the road from the Teton's, and a short ride to both Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Awesome place and I will be back!!!

Disconnect from the world and get back to nature. The lake is beautiful and the wildlife is right outside your door. The loft isn't for adults. Our teens had to walk on their knees to get to their beds. The TV is small. The curtains in the bedrooms don't fully cover the windows. Minor issues when you consider the beauty and peace of this cabin. We will return.

We only had the cabin for a single night, but it fit our needs perfectly. Enough room for x2 couples with a pair of kiddos and had a great view of the lake; wish we had booked another night but we were on our way up to Idaho the next day. The cabin is about a 20-30 minute drive into Jackson, and even less into the Teton park area. Unfortunately, we arrived during the historic flooding occurring in the area and due to this the roads were starting to get washed out. Would probably recommend something higher off the ground (truck/suv/etc.) but it wasn't terrible.
