10/10 stay and experience! From the moment we walked in to when we left, it could not have been a more pleasant stay -- very clean, comfortable and has everything you might want. The views from the home are breathtaking and you can easily walk to get food / coffee in town! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Diane for such a special getaway weekend!

We had a lovely time in this cute, old-style, rustic cottage. The bed and overall decor were comfortable and cozy and the view magnificent. Maybe the only negative for us was that the cottage is right on the road and it was a bit noisy during morning and afternoon commute hours. But all in all we had a good stay.

Our stay at the smaller of the two Pleasant Beach Cottages provided a really fun contrast to our own VRBO cabin in Montana! Salish Sea v. Clark Fork River, a "Sweep-out Cottage" v. Log Cabin, a very short walk to good restaurants and groceries v. driving to get almost anywhere.
The cottage harkens back to a far simpler era of waterfront homes. Not many of these quaint little cottages are still around but surely many once existed. It was great to be able to experience it as a place my grandparents might once have stayed.
However the cottage is more comfortable than anything of its era! It has a good bed, pleasant bathroom, and well-equipped kitchen with a new fridge. We truly enjoyed our time there.
We walked the beach at low tide and viewed the newer "fancy" homes and found shards of well-eroded iron as well as well-scratched Ray-Bans.
Highlights were the Mexican restaurant (both nights) and The Bloedel Reserve. Bloedel is such an amazing experience. We were there 2 1/2 hours and I wish we'd had more time.
Also the Kitsap transit system made going carfree carefree! Once we figured it out it was super easy and remarkably inexpensive. Scheduled BI buses are coordinated with ferry times and there is also on-demand bus service. Our bus took us straight from the ferry landing to the property.

The Pleasant Beach cottage was great for a weekend getaway! You can't beat the location- walking distance to several restaurants and a short drive to the ferry and several hiking trails. The cottage was perfect for two of us and was stocked everything we needed for the weekend. Host was very responsive and provided lots of recommendations for places to visit.

Great host, and couldn't ask for a more perfect area of Bainbridge Island. A 2 min walk from dining, groceries, coffee, and win is amazing.

A wonderfully sweet little cottage complete with a beach and front porch. It was a quiet, peaceful place with good hiking nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed. I struggled with the bed's mattress (too soft for me), but my 6'2" husband had no problems. The clawfoot bathtub is heavenly!!

If you want a true beach town experience, in a cottage with a unimpeded and constantly-diverting bay view, this is your spot. It is about 20 yards from the water, and a 5-minute walk to “town.” It is nothing fancy, but it has everything you need.
Pleasant Beach/Lynwood is a true BI community, not at all like Winslow’s hordes of people. There are several restaurants, including a great Mexican spot, with real Mexican food, and a small grocery for things you forgot to bring.
And, I can’t say enough good things about our host. She was a gem.

This one-room cottage was perfect for this couple. The one-week minimum stay yielded an immediately relaxing & spacious feel to our time at Pleasant Beach. Favorites were our morning walk along the beach, one way or the other; returning along the road. And then our evening walk just down the street to the liveliness of Lynnwood Center, restaurants, shops, a well-stocked small market, bakery, even a movie theatre!
In addition to the cozy interior, outdoor spaces were inviting - the porch, the teak(?) table & chairs, the chaise lounges down on the lawn.

Wonderful location and stay! Could walk to the Village in minutes and enjoy the Marketplace, the wine bar (which has live piano on Mondays) and the bakery for breakfast! Loved the view and the front lawn that leads you to the beach where we had several great walks. Great stay!

This provided for a perfect little getaway for my wife and me. The cottage has all the amenities to make it feel like home and there is a gorgeous view of the water. It was also great being within walking distance of restaurants. The host was very responsive to all of our questions! Looking forward to staying here again.

My husband and I had a relaxing getaway at this charming beach cottage. We particularly enjoyed watching the water, boats and birds while sitting on the porch. The cottage was just as described, had everything we needed, and is in an excellent location.

A little slice of nature heaven!!
We absolutely love this cottage and the surrounding area! The view of the Sound and beach from morning coffee on the porch was THE BEST! Oh, and we were lucky enough to have deer come up and hang out on the lawn. The cottage is cozy and had everything we needed, and the host was perfect! This is our new favorite place!!

Great Relaxed Stay
We really enjoyed the cottage and area, we drove down from Vancouver BC and had great communication with the owner. If you need time to diconnect from a busy life this is the place. Walking distance to some restaurants, great sea view with access to the beach.

Sweet cottage on the water
We loved our visit to Bainbridge Island with the added blessing of staying in this sweet cottage. So peaceful. Beautiful water views. Close to everything for walking. The cottage feels like it’s part of the nature of the island. Diane is an exceptional host. Answered all our questions and even gave us great tips for knowing where to go for shopping, food, restaurants and nature walks. The cottage kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the bed was really comfortable!

On-The-Beach a weekend get-away
Feb 29 & Mar 1st @ the beach of the Puget Sound and a southern view: wonderful. Comfortable, peaceful, & convenient are notions that apply to this cabin. The owner was VERY supportive with great suggestions on where to dine, sites to visit, and places to hang-out and recharge from the busy world. Bainbridge Island is a jem right in Seattle's front yard; close-by yet detached from the metro scene. Pack your flannel shirts & your jeans and blend in with the island locals. Bring along a good book, your bikes or your hiking boots as you may not want to connect to the wifi. In winter we had a marvelous time. In summer, this location would have even greater appeal and broader opportunities for fun. It's a place for a couple to reconnect with each other as well as with the out-of-doors.

This is a little jewel that takes you back in time. The neighborhood is perfect. We walked to a great breakfast, a fabulous beach walk, caught a movie and then dinner at a sweet restaurant. All without getting in our car. It was lovely. We hope to return.

Love this little cottage!
This lovely studio cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing, romantic getaway. Super comfy bed, delightful beach front, a 2-minute walk to restaurants and the very special shops that are Heyday market and Pane d'Amore. Felt like we were in a small French village. Thank you Diane for being a great host!

The overall location, view, and ambiance of this property can not be beat!! It is an older property which is fine, but it could really benefit from some upgraded appliances. Mainly the fridge and TV. Over all though we had a wonderful time and can not wait to come back again!! Thank U so much for our amazing litl

Great location that could use a little uplift
Location is amazing and property is very well maintained. Walk directly to the beach! Owners are sweet and very friendly. Only issue is for the price the amenities could use an update. TV is ancient CRT so don't really plan on watching movies (can't connect a modern device anyway), fridge handle is busted, most windows we were worried to try and force open. But very nice design touches otherwise and so convenient!

The cottage is a perfect get-a-way! Nothing fancy but a quaint one-room retreat. Road noise can be disruptive, but the location is great!

Cozy cottage with an amazing view and access to the beach for sunset walks.
We loved this place. It was so comfortable and in a great location. Walk out the door and you are on the beach. Walk a block down the street and there are restaurants, a delicious bakery, wine tasting, ice cream and a wonderful market for groceries. It faces west so every evening you get a beautiful sunset. Diane was fantastic and if there were any questions she responded immediately. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place was. We never wanted to leave.
