Close to the town centre, it offers everything you may need. It's ample, cosy, spotless clean and well organised to suit your needs. Gaele, the owner, is ready to help whenever you may need. We are a family of four and 2 more friends come by for the new year's eve, we cooked, we ate, we stayed together in a wonderful apartment. Beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, the 3 bathrooms as well, the kitchen is enough for four but there's a living room with 2 big wonderful sofa plus another one that will provide all the comfort you may need to more people. You can park your car in the property and leave it there to visit the town. So, what else? Definitely recommend.

Good communication from the host. Good wifi. Good shower. Very good restaurant (independent from the B&B), L'Ecusson, on the ground floor. No need to drive into central Beaune with its traffic restrictions to arrive at hotel

Property difficult to find, access to parking very tight - might be difficult if you have a mega SUV. Property unstaffed, a sort of DIY B&B. Bright streetlight outside the room, so not truly dark. Rooms two floors up, narrow staircase.

Lovely accommodation. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless and relaxing, and the bathroom was excellent. Good breakfast and a great vibe in the property overall with the facilities and from the staff. Perfectly located with a very short walk to all the attractions in Beaune. I enjoyed the view from the bedroom window watching the birds in murmurations at sunset!

Great location just a short walk into Beaune. The house was lovely and beautifully furnished. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. An air conditioning unit in the room was very welcome too given how hot it was. There is a very well equipped shared kitchen which was great to have for keeping drinks cold and the few tasty things we bought for for our picnic the next day. Breakfast was fresh croissants, bread, fruit, yoghurt and home made preserves - all delicious. We sat out on the terrace in the morning sunshine in gorgeous surroundings. Gael is lovely and a very hospitable hostess.

Everything about La Dormance was superb. Our host, Gaële, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the accommodation had more than all we wanted - the breakfast on the outdoor terrace, the attention to detail everywhere, the availablilty of a well appointed kitchen and fridge, a lovely seating area, and its great location within easy walking distance of the centre. La Dormance was better than most hotels I've stayed in.

Gaele (the proprietor) is very welcoming and helpful. We arrived very early because there was a storm due and we didn't want to get caught in it on our motorbikes. Gaele had no issues with giving us early access to the room. Her English is impeccable, which meant we didn't use our very poor French. We were invited to share a pre dinner drink on the terrace with Gaele and her other guests, which was lovely. Parking was secure, behind a high locked gate.

The WiFi in the room was very weak.

Good location, close to everything, big supermarket is a few minutes walk away, secured parking in the inner yard for free. Super friendly host was meeting us upon arrival and helped with the luggage. This used to be a family house, now rebuilt to a comfy stay for travellers. There are three rooms on the 2nd floor, our room was biggest and the bathroom was very specious with two sinks. The host lives one floor down and is there to assist with any request. A nice roof terrace where you can chill with a glass of wine or have meals. Breakfast is delicious, the host bakes cakes herself and buys fresh bread and croissants in the morning. There is a fridge in the shared area and a living room. We have got a feeling as if we were staying at relative's place! The host even listed her "insider tips" restaurant and bars. We dined at 2 of them and it was excellent.

Our room was facing the road and if somebody (like me) does not sleep deep, should think of ear plugs but you know it already!

The place to be !

Location is only 5 min walk from the city center, and very easy to reach. You can park your car and then only walk to the center. The room itself was gorgeous, beds were super comfy and sleep quality was excellent! Additionally, the breakfast was such a highlight for us! It was fresh, deliscious and carefully and loving prepared every day. The attention & service we received was also great. 100% recommended!

Breakfast served on the rooftop. Gaelle prepared every morning a nice buffet with cheese, croissant, fresh fruit, jams and yoghurt. A good start to our day Rooms were clean. It had everything that we needed. Thank you Gaelle for your hospitality! We enjoyed our stay :)
