Tiburon is my favorite location around SF Bay and this property is ideally located to enjoy the surrounding area. Hike to town, catch a ferry, enjoy the views in the amply spacious home.

A perfect stay
My wife, 2 year old daughter, dog, and myself spent 78 nights at Bella Vista and enjoyed every single one. Incredible views, a big yard, and great proximity to the bike path and town were huge pluses for us and the house was comfortable and spacious for our small family. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating and every turn.

Incredible view!
We stayed in Tiburon for a week in early March with our two adult sons. The house was very comfortable both inside and out. The family room was great to come together and hang out and there was also plenty of space where everyone could get some privacy. The view of the bay is incredible.!! A great house.

Tiburon stay
House was very charming with an amazing view and location. Master bed was a bit rickety and mattresses were a bit hard for my taste but it was still all pretty great as a whole.

Great location.
What a beautiful place for some much needed R&R. The view across the bay was outstanding and the ferry right out of Tiburon to Pier 41 was an added bonus. Good times!

Beautiful location & home
My review is for one night as the power was shut the second day due to the possibility of fires sparking. Meredith was very much attentive to our situation & helpful.
The house is clean & spacious with a beautiful view. In the afternoon it does get hot with the sun coming in & no AC in the house. A new shade is there to be installed to help keep the sun out so that will make it better. It did cool down at night with the windows open.
Gas grill in the garage & full kitchen had everything we needed.
Beautiful dining table with a view in the living room. Plenty of seating. The bedrooms are spacious & comfortable. Lovely walk to the ferry & restaurants. There is a small expensive market in town. Safeway market is off Route 101 & not far from the house.
One note: Driveway entrance is on the side street: Gilmartin Drive, not on Tiburon Blvd.
We will definitely be back, it was way too short!

Wonderful stay
We had great stay at Tiberon
We decided to stay here rather than in SFO and this turned out to be a great decision.
The house was as described, fully equipped and well positioned.
A 20 minute walk to the ferry and a very relaxing journey into the city, far better than driving.
a fabulous stay and we would return some day if we get the opportunity

Lovely house in a lovely, convenient town
We stayed for over six weeks and despite the length of time we always felt comfortable with what the house and town provided. Situated right on the bay the the beautiful view varies with the weather. The beautiful path along the bay(formerly a railway right-of way) was a great place to walk our Lab. She loved the novel smells, being an Easterner herself. The bay is home to many herons, ibis, pelicans, hawks and ducks as well many pet dogs. All our guests commented on how lovely the house and view were
Bella Vista is comfortably appointed and the kitchen was easy to use. The gas stove was a perfect fit for us except for the day our son came over to make us dinner for us and a few of his friends. Even then there were enough pots and pans.
The owners were very helpful, for example their lists and menus of nearby restaurants were on target. There are lots of good restaurants in Tiburon and Sausalito just a quick drive away. A good chunk of San Francisco where our son lives is only a half hour away with more good dining and lots of good opportunities for day trips. Our daughter's family was an hour away in Silicon valley. Napa was about forty five minutes north. It was easy to get around and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
PS Rush hour can be bad so avoid it if you can.

Quaint, comfy, home-away-from-home with a killer view!
Bella Vista is even better in person and is situated perfectly for exploring the city of San Francisco as well as Marin County and all it has to offer. That is, if you ever want to leave the cozy front room where both sunrises and sunsets are incredible! The house has everything you need for a great getaway, is very clean, and offers lots of space both inside and out for private conversations as well as larger gatherings. We hope to visit Bella Vista again!

Fantastic stay
Our family had a fantastic stay at Bella Vista for a week in August. The property has a convenient location with the walking path across the street, just a few minutes drive from downtown Tiburon or the shops at Strawberry Village and easy access to San Fran and all its amazing things to do. The views from the house are spectacular and everything is well arranged for a comfortable stay with plenty or room for everyone.

Cozy and spacious house with lovely views of the Bay!
Our family spent a week at Bella Vista and I can only say that a week was just not enough! The house itself was so cozy, yet spacious enough for six adults. The house is incredibly well equipped with the things you need to cook meals, but also had a lovely library of magazines, books and other things like binoculars that came in handy during our week of enjoying the beautiful outdoors in Tiburon and its surrounding areas. We had several family members who were visiting from Europe. It was their very first time in CA and staying at the Bella Vista home was such a nice introduction to the area and made them feel really comfortable. The views of the Bay from the large floor to ceiling windows in the living room are breathtaking and it was wonderful to be able to walk right across the street to access the walking and biking trail that can take you straight into downtown Tiburon or Blackie's Pasture. Meredith and her family were great hosts- she was very responsive with any questions that we had and was easily reachable by email and text. Our family made some very lasting memories at Bella Vista and we can't wait to return!

Fantastic place to stay!!
We stayed for the week of Christmas. The house was wonderfully decorated for the holiday upon our arrival. The home is beautiful! The kitchen was very well stocked with the needed items to cook a large holiday meal. The beds are all very comfortable. We really enjoyed the view of the bay, Sausalito, The Golden Gate Bridge and the coastal mountains and hills. Setting in front of the large windows or out on the deck enjoying a coffee or wine was amazing! We could not have asked to find a better house to relax and enjoy the holidays. We really look forward to our return visit.

My husband and I stayed at "Bella Vista" for 4 nights and 5 days and with each day came a new adventure and with each night we watched the lights of the golden gate and the bay bridges twinkle and pull us into their beauty. It was so convenient to have a wonderful walking/biking trail directly across the street. We took some great walks both in the morning and evening. The rooms at "Bella Vista" are very comfortable and pleasing to the eye. I can't remember the last time my husband relaxed so much....it was really terrific. I can't wait to return to this little piece of heaven.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista. Much of our time was spent in the living room reading, dining, visiting and gazing at the beautiful views of the bay. Very restful. My ninety-four year old Mom was happy as a clam. I especially appreciated the feel of sharing your family's home and history, including the wonderful picture of Meredith as a child waving to the passing train. The house was homey yet aesthetic and the area offered every amenity and many places to explore.

We stayed at Bella Vista for several months after the birth of my daughter while we searched to buy a home and had a fantastic time. The house is very comfortable (especially for families) and proximity to bike path and Blackies Pasture is wonderful. The views are incredible of Richardson Bay and loved watching the sunrises and sunsets as we grilled outside. Love love the house and ladies who manage it. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I spent a wonder week here. The views from inside and outside were soothing. The location to Bay Area
activities was perfect. We were secluded yet near gorcery, ferry and bus transportation, post office, quaint shops and restrauants as well as other emenities too numerous to list.

My wife and I rented Bella Vista over Christmas 2009 for a family gathering at it was fantastic. The house is beautiful, everything was in perfect order for our arrival, and the owner was a joy to deal with. The house is directly across the street from the water, and the views are amazing...a quiet cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the bay quickly became a ritual during our week-long stay. A short drive from Sausalito, Muir Woods, and SF...or take the ferry from downtown Tiburon.

I’ve enjoyed spring, summer, and fall days at Bella Vista and can’t decide which season I like the best. The house is very welcoming and comfortable. I sat for hours gazing at the amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, and Richardson Bay. The friendly guide that the owner put together with trip and restaurant ideas was very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the drive to Point Reyes for oysters. I’m looking forward to my next trip to Bella Vista!

My family recently had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful, relaxing "home away from home" retreat. I can not tell you how beautiful the accommodations were, down to the feather pillows and down comforters. It was very spacious, up-to-date," and the view was to behold whether at day or at night. Looking out at the Golden Gay Bridge and the bays was so peaceful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to be spoiled and pampered. The hiking trails and the quaintance of the downtown was refreshing and the restaurants were soooo good.
