We loved our stay at this condo. The owners, Dave and Sonya, were great hosts. Friendly and accommodating. The space was perfect for my husband and I along with our two teenage boys. Great amenities, awesome views, perfect location being right on the lake - secluded yet less than 10 minutes to town with major grocery stores and shops. I cannot say enough good things about our trip here. It was better than we could have hoped for. We will definitely be back!

This condo is very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Owners are very nice and quick to respond to questions you might have. The views off the dining room deck and downstairs bedroom patios are awesome, especially when morning mist is floating on the water and through the trees across the lake. Very much looking forward to my next visit.

This is one of the most comfortable and well equipped rentals we’ve been in. The location on Donner Lake is steps away from the state park for walking and close to many biking areas. Shopping and dining are just a few minutes away as well. Love this rental and will be back again.

We had beautiful Spring days at this property! Gorgeous views and the owners were great! I'm not sure if it was for covid reasons that we ended up making our own beds ; but am assuming so and that was fine. I would most definitely update the electronic features such as the TV providing Chromecast or something similar for people with their own subscriptions to be able to access them and maybe have an accessible iHome for music. Very nice to have spices available so not to have to run out and buy everything. Thank you for a nice time at Donner Lake.

Our whole family really enjoyed this peaceful and well cared for home and can’t wait to stay again. It is located on the lake at Donner lake and has a wonderful view of the lake inside and outside. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Fantastic experience!

A lovely place right on a fantastic lake. Loads of room and very peaceful even on Labor Day weekend. The condo has clearly been looked after and has lovely, quality furnishings and decor. The owners were quick to respond to queries and kindly let us use their kayak, canoe and paddle board. One of the many highlights of the stay were sitting on either deck soaking up the sensational view of Donner Lake and the surrounding mountains. When you venture out on the water you realise how amazingly quiet the condo is, as only when across the lake can you hear any noise from the interstate that runs nearby. Truckee is close and has a great old-west feel. Tahoe is a short drive and the ski resorts are even closer. Condos right on the lake are clearly very rare at Donner Lake and this is a great place to spend quality time. Our 8 day trip was amazing and we'd love to come back one day.

Great location right on Donner Lake with a dock, beach, chairs, etc. Beautiful view from the unit. We appreciated being able to borrow the standup paddleboard, canoe, kayak, and life vests. It was wonderful to be able to go out the back door to the lake at any time.

This is a very clean, quiet beautiful home on Donner Lake. Check-in/out was easy and the owners were very easy to communicate with. We definitely will be back!

You will not be disappointed. This Donner Lake condo is located steps away from the lake. It is equipped with all the conveniences of home. The minute you walk in, you will notice the pride of ownership. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. It is conveniently located near Truckee. We looked forward to returning to the condo after a long day out. It was a pleasure to communicate directly with the owners. David and Sonya were very responsive. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.

This is a beautiful home and it is very clean. My mom and I spent Mother’s Day here and she was thrilled with the views and how clean the house was. No spiders excited her...hahaha Thank you for opening up your home so we could enjoy it!!

We had a great time during August 2018, 4 adults a child and a baby. The rooms are great for this setup, with one room having bunks and a queen bed for a family. The views are incredible, the beach and dock right out the door are very nice, and the whole facility is in great shape. The availability of a canoe and SUP makes it particularly nice. The interior is in excellent condition, and the kitchen has everything you could want. Hope to return.

This is the perfect spot for a quiet get away. This was our second visit and it was amazing. You can't beat the proximity to the lake, the private beach and the amenities provided. People in the condo community are polite, respectful and quiet. The condo itself is nicely stocked and the hosts are wonderful. We were there for a week with our adult daughters. Very relaxing and a great time to reconnect. Can't wait to go again!

My husband and I used to live in Lake Tahoe and still frequent the area often. We have booked numerous properties via VRBO but this is our absolute favorite! The view from the deck is incredible, there are not any neighbors to the left and to the right we didn't hear a peep. The community is extremely friendly and multiple owners offered us to use their beach toys. The owners of this rental have extra blankets, pillows, cleaning supplies, cooking supplies...anything you can think of! On top of that, they have a canoe, kayak, and a paddle board for use at the beach. There is also a folding table which we used to bring dinner down to the beach one evening. Both bedrooms are downstairs and each room has it's own door to access the small but private beach. They also both have a view of the water! Thank you so much for accommodating our family and sharing such a wonderful treasure!

We have stayed here for a few years now and really love the condo and location. Literally lake front! The condo is always very clean. Not many renters in the complex so tends to be quiet. Beautiful beach and pier. Watch the trains go by across the lake! Owners Dave and Sonya extremely nice and accommodating. Even left a SUP and canoe in the garage for us to use - very nice touch. Can't wait until next year when we will be back.

This was a beautiful place that had everything you needed for a family. The owner was sweet and easy to work with. My family will definitely be coming back to this place again.

All of the small details are covered in this unit from the kitchen to the towels and linens. Beds are comfy and the location is perfect for our needs. The owner even called upon checkout to touch base and review our stay. Sugar Bowl is so close! The view of the lake is also very, very nice! We will be back.

My wife and I just returned from this fabulous lakefront condo. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the condo and its location. Owners very easy to work with. We have stayed at other Donner Lake rentals and this is the best. We love Donner Lake and can't wait to return.

Great stay. Right by the water. Beautiful views, modern amenities, BBQ was great. Only negative part was that on the last night, we had people staying above us and the sound traveled a lot. We were on the lower two floors, and if there are people staying on the top floor, you'll probably hear them walking around.

We had an excellent time. The location is perfect with excellent view of the lake from all rooms. The home is welcoming. My kids loved walking out the bedrooms to the dock. thank you!

I came and stayed at Donner Lake with my wife and 1-year old son. The two bedrooms downstairs both had amazingly comfortable beds (with all the blankets and pillows one could imagine). From either room you have just a really short stroll down to the lake. Upstairs had a very comfortable living room (with a foldout couch), dining room, and kitchen with a beautiful deck. We spent a lot of time just gazing at the lake from the deck. One other thing to note is the water equipment (pedalboat/kayak.etc) that the owners have for guests to use while they're there. There is much to do around Truckee and Tahoe but we found Donner Lake itself so relaxing that we just stayed there most of the time. When we find time we'll likely try to stay here again.
