Our 3 generation family of 10 loved this house. The soft sand yard wraps around the house and up a small hill and the kids loved playing in it. It is very private so they could be as loud as they wanted. The living room is huge so even when all of us were in it there was room to spare. Easy walk or tractor ride to the beach. Eating and relaxing on the decks was wonderful. We hope to go back next year.

We enjoyed this property very much. The kids ran around the yard and played in the sand. We all went for ice cream at Poppy’s every evening. Great location. Walked to lighthouse, the park for kids and some local stores. Beach was easily accessible. All around good time!

Outdoor decks and nature preserve feeling incredible. Close to all the town has to offer. Bike or drive! Breezes and whitecap views on the back deck amazing! Tram to take you to and from beach runs 10 to 5!! Great for older relatives or those with walking issues.

This is not our first trip to BL or this property, so it's definitely a place we enjoy returning to as often as we can. The location is perfect- privacy from surrounding houses, close beach access, and all the BL shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The house is clean and well-equipped. I mention the AC breaking ONLY to highlight the owner's response, communication and attention to our needs until the unit was replaced. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating and attentive to the awkwardness and discomfort of the situation. A good time was had by all anyway!

We spent two weeks in this wonderful property and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location is superb, with a deck overlooking the dunes and a short walk to the beach. After a minor hiccup at check-in communication with the host was easy and we found everything clean and in good working order. The street is tranquil and there are a few restaurants and small shops in walking distance. It's ideal for families and children, and we are definitely thinking of coming back.

After not having rented on LBI since 2009, we had a wonderful vacation on this property! Erin, the owner, was always easy to reach for questions; easy 5 mins walk to the beach; quiet/secluded location; excellent air conditioning, very clean; good amenities. Really appreciated Erin's responsiveness in quickly solving a hornets issue on the deck. There were a number household items that could really use updating/improving for a more comfortable, user friendly experience and Erin appreciated the feedback. Overall, a great house and beach location on LBI!

This is our second year staying here and it truly is our favorite place. A true LBI hidden gem. We originally found this house because we were in search of something pet friendly in Barnegat Light. We were so surprised when we arrived and saw the beautiful location and views from the back deck. The owner is always friendly and communicative and this house has everything you could need. Restaurants, shops, the beach, and the beautiful light house are all within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here whether you are solo, a couple or a family. We can’t wait to go back!

This property is in a great location. The house is well equipped with plenty of storage! There's privacy and quiet, but it's close enough to walk to all the downtown Barnegat Light shops, restaurants, and mini golf. A nice walk to the beach promotes that "can't wait to get to the ocean" feeling. A tram is available too if preferred. We've vacationed in Barnegat Light for many years, so it's wonderful to see the town has not changed and remains family friendly. If you want relaxation and quiet this end of the island is where you want to be.

We’ve always stayed in Beach Haven south to holgate but want to try staying in Barneget light this year. House was very nice, comfortable, great decks to enjoy the scenery. A little farther from the ocean than we’re accustomed to so harder to check out the waves, but the walk was short and very nice through the dunes to the beach, owner was very responsive and helpful on a few minor questions I had before our trip.

We had a great time on LBI this year. This hot water use is in a really desirable location, facing the beach and ocean - great for wonderful sunrises. The dog loved the decks and took full advantage of napping in the sun. Best ice cream on the island is just a few minutes walk away. There are lots of fun and good places to eat, - all seriously tempting. The house was well equipped with supplies for making your own meals as well. Everything was clean, comfortable and I can’t think of anything that we needed that wasn’t supplied. We’d love to go back ASAP. Thank you Erin, my only regret is not being able to spend more time there.

The house is in a great location, not too far from the beach (a tram is available, too), and a nice walk to shops/restaurants in town.
Loved the large dining room table to gather for meals or play games, there are also two great outdoor seating areas, can easily fit three cars in the driveway.
Great vacation and place to reminisce and make more memories.

Loved our two week stay at this great property. Great views and brief walk over dunes to the beach. Easy walking to some nice restaurants and cannot beat the sunrises directly from the house and gorgeous sunsets a short walk to the bay.

The location is amazing. Since the jetty was redone in the 80’s the walk to the beach is longer but it is great to see all the development of vegetation and stability of the northern portion of LBI. A true treasure. Thank you!

Barnegat Light Beach House
Barnegat Light is our favorite spot on LBI! Beautiful beaches and dunes, Old Barney and the jetty walk, nature trails, shops, restaurants, Poppy’s ice cream , mini golf, bay beach, marina and so much more! Erin is great to work with and the house is beautiful! Just a short walk to everything in Barnegat Light.

Great space in the dunes, close to Franks produce, Viking village, Whites market, and of course a short walk down the path to the reason you came, the beautiful beach.

Love the location!
This is my second time renting this property. We absolutely love the location as it has privacy and away from the hustle and bustle yet still walking distance to some restaurants. Love seeing bunnies run in the dunes and lots of interesting birds - not just seagulls. We look forward to coming back next year.

Fabulous Property
A great house in an unbelievable location. Views of the ocean and Barnegat Inlet, including the channel and jetty (boaters will know how cool that is). The owners provided binoculars although I had my own. The walk to the beach is not long -- three minutes? -- if you take the direct route and not the cart path. Elsewhere on the island is just as long now that the beaches are so wide. The birds (and rabbits) were plentiful and interesting. The house is spacious and well-equipped, comfortable and clean and lovely unless you are expecting some super high-end "house beautiful" thing. Piano and rocking horse -- too cool. I definitely hope to return if my plans work out.

Stay at Windward
Upon arrival AC was down and stayed out for the week which was uncomfortable. Also, kitchen sparsely equipped. That being said, the property was beautiful, and comfortable. I would come again with AC.

Barnegat Light in style!
Beautiful, secluded spot right on the dune overlooking the ocean. Property is right on the naturalized dune area and just a short 3 minute walk from the beach! The Tram stops right at the house if you prefer to be driven to the lifeguard beach a block further down. Convenient walking access to all the Barnegat Light shops, restaurants, etc. Plenty of space for our party of four adults and two kids (3 &5).

Perfect spot for a family
We loved staying here! The decks were peaceful, the view lovely, the trip to the beach was easy as long as you took the beach trolley, the house was comfortable, and the owner was responsive when we had to message them! Bonus was all the kids toys and games both indoors and for the beach. Highly recommend!

Had a great week exploring Barnegat and loved the house. Perfect location - you really feel like you’re the only house around. The views are beautiful too! Close to restaurants and stores. Owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. Would love to come back again.

The best kept secret!
We’ve been staying in LBI for years and decided to try Barnegat Light this year. We did a LOT of research on different homes and this home was hands down the best decision. The location is amazing - private, peaceful and so convenient. It feels like you have your own private beach with the sand and dunes surrounding the house. It was especially helpful with our toddler - we could stroll to the ocean (or ride the free tractor!) or play in the sand in the yard. The two porches are beautiful with great breezes and plenty of seating (two tables with umbrellas!). The Inside of the house is open and clean and so nicely updated. There is tons of light and you have walls of windows to enjoy the views. Kitchen was so well appointed and there were tons of beach toys and a wagon for us to enjoy with our son.The street is quiet and you’re a short stroll to a few great food options. We enjoyed two weeks here (the wifi was great for working remotely!) and can’t wait to return next summer!

Relaxing and peaceful
The owners were extremely receptive to our requests and very friendly . Issues with repairs were handled promptly and resolved . The furniture and bedrooms were comfortable and each room was nicely decorated . The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed with regard to appliances . The only part that was limited was a pantry area to hold food . A possible cabinet for pantry items would be my only suggestion. Excellent rental and absolutely stellar location ! Thank you ! We’ll be back next summer for sure !

Property was even nicer than pictures portrayed. Private and quiet, but within walking distance to everything. Home was lovely with lots and lots of light and a fabulous view of the dunes and ocean.

Great location
House is at the end of the block with a beautiful view of the shrubs leading to the beach, very peaceful. You can also see the tractor go by so you can time your rides to the beach. We liked it very much.

Nice beach house, excellent location
The house has a good layout, open and sunny. The view over the dunes is wonderful. Our youngest son enjoyed the piano. The walk to the beach follows a trail through dunes and takes only a few minutes if you are a fast walker. There is a tractor pulled vehicle that hauls people and their stuff to the beach, which runs regularly, with a stop right in front of the house. We only used it once. Quiet end of a quiet street. We had the beach mostly to ourselves. Easy walk to lighthouse and restaurents. We hope to rent again. Perfect house if you like quiet and an expansive view of wild dune country.

Fantastic Location and Views!
We had a wonderful stay in this home. You can't beat the privacy and views! Loved the 2 decks, perfect for reading, happy hour and dining. We used the grill quite a bit and cooked a majority of our meals at home. Also, easy walking distance or short drive to a couple of local restaurants. The beds are very comfortable and the baths nicely upgraded. Appreciated the outside shower for extra convenience. It is a bit of a walk to the beach and a lack of few kitchen amenities need to be addressed but it did not affect our enjoyment of of our stay at Barnegat Light.

Nice house, however we were disappointed it wasn’t ocean front as advertised
House was nice, isn’t ocean front though. The home needs some attention. Upon arrival the door locks didn’t work properly, on either door, however this was fixed on Monday of our stay. Dishwasher isn’t bolted to floor properly causing it to tip, and the house needed a thorough cleaning. Most pots have been abused by guests to the point they weren’t usable. Not fully stocked with condiments.
Beds were comfortable. Guests need to bring their own towels and sheets.
Would have been nice to have more than one beach chair.
