The place was beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. We would love to come back sometime when all the trees leafed out. The owner, April, was a lovely person and so very helpful about everything.

Can’t say enough positives about our stay! Our host met us upon arrival and walked us to our cabin, giving us an overview of the property and nearby restaurants. The property and cabin were perfect! Clean, cozy, and a refreshing experience away from the craziness of the world! We felt like we were in another world altogether…. So peaceful. Highly recommend. Check-in/out process was a breeze. Will be back!

The property was great! Remote enough to feel secluded but not too far from Cottonwood and Sedona. We were able to make daily outings and still enjoy the seclusion after our excursions were done. The pool was great and the kids loved it. And thank you to April for providing some breakfast/lunch supplies for that first night/day.

We had a blast on our vacation in beautiful Sedona. But it was really this cozy cabin that was our home away from home. It was super hot during our stay but the cabin has AC and was nice and cool everytime we returned from our outings . This property was quiet and amazing with our kids living in the pool all day and night. The lush green all around you and nestled in nature with a stream behind the houses it was Just perfect . Get away from it all while being close to Sedona . We will be back for sure. Love this place.

The property was so beautiful! The myriad fruit trees and the beautiful green lush grass were beyond description. The creek was so inviting after sunning in the pool for a couple hours.
The cabin was so quaint, and a flashback to the 80’s, with the double cassette player boom box (cd player didn’t work) to the 1980’s era microwave. Could it use an update, sure, but it’s still perfect without it. Is all about the property! It’s magical! We will be returning again and again.

We have stayed on the property multiple times in the main house and the cabin. We hang out in the huge yard or at the creek, which runs behind the main house. The cabin is stocked for cooking meals, the beds are comfortable, and the host is wonderful. The main reason we keep coming back is the location and beautiful grounds. A hidden gem in AZ.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin and were blown away by the beauty of the property. Everything was as described and the management was very helpful. One thing to note is that you need a car with AWD or 4x4 or at least high clearance to get the to the property as it is down a long dirt road.

The property was quiet and secluded but very easy to find and use a home base for our adventures in Sedona and Cottonwood. We had a lovely stay and hope to stay there again sometime!

The cabin is very cozy and the area is very relaxing and calm. The energy of this property is very chill and we enjoyed the fresh air, cool weather and relaxing vibe of the flowing creek.
The drive into the property does require going either over or through the creek. Maps took us the route of crossing the creek without a bridge, but given the height of the water and entry/exit angles, no passenger car could make that safely. We went the other route and used the bridge over the creek, however given the water level, even the bridge had about 5 inches of water on it.
I’d recommend researching the creek level to be safe, or using a SUV / Truck and have no worries.
The cabin is on a large ranch property with different buildings scattered around and the owners home on the land near by. This specific cabin seemed to have a bunk house attached to it, almost like it was the foreman’s house for ranch hands. There was a common wall shared between the buildings, but no one was staying in the bunk house.
Overall, we highly recommend the property if you seek a nice, cozy property hosted by very friendly and gracious owners.
We were able to go into Sedona and Cornville and eat, explore and enjoy ourselves and also spent time relaxing at the cabin and surrounding property as well.
You should also note, the pool is obviously seasonal, so even if the pictures look appealing, it was drained and not open given the time of year / temperature when we traveled there.

My friend and I absolutely loved this property! Tucked away from the town it was peaceful and quiet at night and made for a relaxing girls weekend. April was wonderful and kept me updated on the road conditions before we arrived due to some heavy rain the week before our stay. We would, and likely will, absolutely stay here again.

About 30 minutes from Sedona this rental was quiet, private and secluded. You will have to travel 3 miles on a gravel road at a relatively low speed across a creek to reach the cabin. Lots of hiking opportunities and Jerome is a must see visit. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing and I would book again What can I say about this property! It is definitely at the end of a dirt road. The host was super sweet and amazing she even made sure we had things for breakfast the next morning. The listing was exactly as described. The cabin was comfortable and exactly the right size for us (two adults.) it is not from Sedona we found ourselves, wanting to be back at the cabin, rather than being out. The stream running along the back of the property is was super relaxing. Looking forward to going back there again.

From the moment we arrived we were in love with the house and location. We wanted a place away from the city yet close enough to drive to Sedona and Cottonwood. This was perfect! Oak Creek ran along the property which was so relaxing and calming to be near. April, our host was wonderful. She showed us the property and had everything taken into consideration for our needs. There were plenty of extra blankets, comforters, pillows, and towels. She had eggs, milk, and cinnamon bread in the fridge for our breakfasts. The house was immaculate, warm and so cozy. Thank you April for taking care of us and sharing such a special cozy place for us to enjoy!

I booked this stay for my girlfriend and I to get away from the city life in Phoenix and enjoy nature in Arizona’s beautiful outdoors that’s just a few hours away… when I say we didn’t expect this hidden gem it’s an understatement. We were transported to an outdoor lovers paradise hidden here in Cornville. From the time we arrived to the time we left (which was so hard because of the beauty here and peace this place brings you), we were surrounded by beautiful trees, amazing local animal sounds, and the peace of the water streaming down the creek just feet away. This was the perfect place to get away and experience nature at its finest… we had hikes planned on local nearby trails but my gf and I both agreed we could’ve stayed here, by the creek, or hit the trail that’s just outside the grounds and enjoyed it even more. Stunning!
Our host was super welcoming, courteous and considerate, even stocking the fridge with a few items since the local grocery store was a little bit of a drive into town. She called us, prior to arriving, to let us know there was a route to the property that was flooded and gave us an alternate safer route to use. She showed us the entire grounds and explained the wildlife and nature do’s and don’ts. And before partying ways after we arrived, she checked to see if we needed anything else.
Thank you April for allowing us to enjoy a little slice of Heaven on Earth at your ranch and for blessing us with staying in your cabin.

This place has it all! Big yard, play ground for kids and a pool. The creek is just at a few walks at the backside of one of the cabins. House is clean and organized. April the host is friendly and toured us on check in. The only thing is the rough road drive about 3 miles to reach the house. If you want to get away on a peaceful, quiet place with lots of trees and greens and a creek nearby, this is the place for you. Thank you April , we enjoyed our stay😊.

Our stay in Cornville was excellent. April was there to help us get settled upon our arrival and she was very pleasant to talk to. The cabin was as described and more than enough space for our small family. Hanging out by the creek, being secluded and having a nice quiet stay was everything we could ask for. We absolutely loved our stay at the property and look forward to going back. Hopefully next time it will be warm enough to enjoy a dip in the creek.

Lovely setting and cabin, far away from the tourist crowds. Beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped log home allows you to relax and enjoy the surroundings and wildlife. Three guest houses and owner’s home are grouped around an above- ground pool, which is available seasonally. Very good communication with the hostess/owner, who respects your privacy despite being close by. Highly recommended.

This is a well kept, comfortable cabin. April was the best host we've ever had at a VRBO. She did everything possible to accommodate us and went above and beyond in every way. There were unusually heavy rains at the time of our visit, which made getting to and from the cabin a challenge at times due to the gravel roads and bridges.

Beautiful secluded cabin
My wife and I loved staying here. The cabin and property are beautiful!
We had everything we needed for a long weekend. The oven and microwave are both older but work great. The bed has an older mattress; I slept fine but my wife said it needed more support.
The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip after a hot day out hiking. We hope to return again someday. Thank you!

Serene location, green lush grass, shade trees, creek on property. Quiet!
This cabin is ideal for one person. A haven of quiet and rest to return to after day of hiking on the trails near and in Sedona or sightseeing to nearby Indian Ruins, and small towns such as Jerome and Cottonwood.

Great find off the beaten path
If you are looking for a place to relax and spend quality time, this is it. April was great with the communication and it’s a nice get away.
It is a little trickier to find, so I would recommend arriving during the day to get there easier.
Would definitely recommend!

Nice quiet clean cabin
Cabin is located a few miles down a dirt road, the first time accessing it between the GPS and the owner supplied map will get you there. The cabin is centrally located so access to Sedona or Jerome is a short drive.

Quite retreat from Sedona tourism
My partner and I traveled to Sedona for a hiking trip on December 1. We were so happy to have this wonderful cabin to retreat to. It provided us peace and quiet on our 4 full days of hiking, vacation. It is a bit off the beaten path and there wasn’t cellular service for our carriers there. The cabin sits low in a valley. HOWEVER, about 2 minutes up the hills out of the valley you have full service. We enjoyed the break from reality! The grounds are very pretty and well kept. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need. It’s about 15 minutes from Sedona which was nice to retreat to at the end of a long day. It was close enough to enjoy all Sedona has to offer! We recommend renting a higher suspension vehicle as you are traveling on unpaved roads. Also there are 2 water crossings to get to the cabin. One is on a low bridge and the other is through a shallow creek.
If you truly love nature and want to experience it in a quaint , fully outfitted cabin, this place is wonderful! We loved the 2 owls that visited us in the early morning hours.
While you are there you feel like you are the only ones there. There are 3 other residences on the property, however, you’d never know as it is so peaceful.
Thank you April for sharing your property with us. We would love to stay again on our next trip out!

Serenity
A beautiful property and top notch hospitality! Checked in on Thanksgiving and felt bad disturbing dinner, but Ms. April was so gracious. We got a chance to visit with her and hear how the ranch has been in her family for six generations. It's true Arizona at its best. Everything you need is at the cabin and it is a few steps to the creek. It is beautiful and the stars at night are countless. Truly a relaxing and lovely place. Finding these serene gems gets harder all the time so if you are looking for a beautiful quiet place - this is it. Also, just a few minutes to town if you want to go. There's also another lodging on site if you want to bring the family.

Beautiful location, but hard to find
If you're looking for a rural location in the oasis that is Oak Creek, this place is great. Beautiful and peaceful location, right on the river. I just wish the listing had mentioned how hard it is to find! Make sure you get explicit instructions for how to find this place before you go. If you don't, you might find yourself lost in the middle of nowhere while your GPS doesn't work, many "trails" don't have signs, and the dirt roads you're on are starting to flood from the rain as the sun is setting. Quite stressful!
