Super séjour au calme dans cet établissement très propre et très accueillant ! J'y retournerai avec plaisir !

L'accueil de Michel, sa gentillesse et la literie. J'avais l'impression d'être à la maison. J'aime me baigner par tous les temps et l'emplacement de la maison et à 2 min à pied de la plage.

Erwartet hat mich eine kleine Oase der Ruhe und des Gefühls eines nach Hause kommens. Der Gastgeber ist zuvorkommend, freundlich, nahbar und bleibt trotz der Freundlichkeit professionell. Direkt in der schönen Altstadt mit ihren schönen Häusern, fast direkt am Strand gab es in unmittelbarer Nähe Restaurants die uns empfohlen wurden und wirklich gut waren. Auf dem Weg zum Bäcker wurde ich begleitet, um sicherzustellen, dass das mit der Bestellung klappen würde. Das Frühstück war mit einer persönlichen Note versehen und hervorragend lecker!

Man muss die Nähe einer Pension zu anderen Gästen einberechnen. Wer mag kann Gespräche suchen und finden, keine Anonymität sonstiger Hotelbesuche.

Lovely room very clean host was excellent & very close to the seafront & beaches

First stop on my cycle trip across France Lovely B&B beautiful garden Monsieur was very welcoming and helpful. Also with a good sense of humour. Thank you. A great start to a 13 day cycle ride.

The host is a very friendly and helpful man that speaks very little to no English. The house is very well presented and equipped, breakfast was great and quite a few business cards for restaurants along the beachfront were provided making finding an evening meal much easier.

Not entirely as advertised, there appeared to be very little sound reduction occurring, the adjoining room could be heard clearly through the door that separated the rooms. The bathroom was across the hall and shared with the other room on the floor, not a major problem - but the room booked was meant to be en-suite, so we expected our own bathroom.

The most wonderful place to stay I’ve ever have. Everything VERY nice organized and the owner together with administrator were taking care about us as like about their own guests and not like in hotel. That’s amazing!

Would be great to have thinner and softer pillows :)

Excellent location, nicely appointed rooms with very good facilities. Our hosts were really nice people and very helpful. Breakfast was also very good.

The manual operated shutter blind in our room didnt work, or if it did we couldnt work it out. This meant the room was very light very early in the morning. Road parking only which is very hit and miss, but we knew this when booked, we were fortunate and managed to get right outside as someone was leaving when we arrived....very lucky.

A great little guest house right near the beach. Close to many restaurants and all of the facilities. The host is super friendly and gave us a lovely breakfast in his own kitchen.

A beautiful old house, very well revamped and maintained. A divine little garden that you would just love to sit in!

Very little, only that it didn’t have an en suite, the bathroom was shared with one other room, but did not present a problem as we were on a different time schedule.

The host is very helpful and knowledgeable. He prepares an amazing breakfast with homemade jams and orange juice, and an amazing selection of cheeses and breads from the local market. It's also very close to the beach.

We need to really look for little things to nitpick about here. There was little to nothing to complain about. It's a personal issue, but the pillows were a bit square. Rectangular would have been prepared.

Great location, great host - had everything we needed for an overnight stay to see historic sights in Dunkirk

Chez Marie allows you to take your dog which was perfect. The room was clean, big, comfortable bed with an excellent shower and bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with the host very welcoming. It is 5 minute walk from the promenade, beach and restaurants.

Nothing really, you may not get a parking space outside but there’s a large car park less than a 5 minute walk away.

Clean with attention to details. Really close to beach and excellent restaurants open even in the winter just 150 m away. Easy free bus ride into town centre. Free parking on street. Excellent continental breakfast included in price. Friendly and helpful host with good knowledge of area. Lovely warm room and large comfortable bed. Quiet room. Extras such as shampoo, toiletries, hair dryer available. Home made rhubarb jam was delicious! Enjoyed our evening meal at Comme Vous Voulez on seafront - needs reservation on busier days - was full even on this stormy evening. There were 3 other restaurant choices open nearby.

We were a little worried about the four flights of steps but my 87 year old partner - taking it slowly managed them without a problem and host carried our bags. Our room had separate bathroom across shared corridor but that was no problem. Host provides good dressing gowns to use. Bathroom was lovely - warm, nice towels. Arriving first we had choice of smaller room en suite or larger not en suite - partner chose not en suite as was rear facing so away from street. We didn’t manage to get TV working but host would have helped if asked - it was late after our lovely restaurant meal so we just decided not to bother going down a couple of flights to ask for help. Furniture is old-fashioned but good quality and well-maintained. If we come again to Duinkerk we would stay here again - absolutely no real negative issues.

Breakfast was perfect.

A perfect location to visit the beaches and attractions. A classic residence with modern and well appointed facilities. A very good breakfast in a room overlooking the courtyard with many flowers and trees.

At our age climbing 4 sets of stairs was an accomplishment, but the other items made up for this.

The proprietor was very friendly and tried to be helpful, though communication wasn't easy! The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. I'm glad I specifically asked for parking, as there were very few spaces available, and I had one kept for me.

We weren't aware that the bathroom was not ensuite, and was adjoining the hall outside.
