The location
Was super noisy on the weekends!! They didn’t provide water on a daily basis like all other hotels, we had to buy our own. No drinking glasses in the room we had to ask for them. We stayed for 2 weeks and had to ask for them to change the bed. Only once it was done. My husband had a few items washed and the maids wanted 300 pesos for about 6 items!! Crazy prices!! We were going to leave them a nice tip but, it really left a bad impression that the girls would want to take advantage like that!! 300 pesos is like 25 Canadian dollars!! Ridiculous!!

Clean, high quality materials, modern facilities
We got the rooms with balcony facing the street and there was sometimes loud music playing across the street. That’s the only thing we didn’t like

The staff, especially Martha the lady in charge. She was very helpful and friendly. Everything was walking distance.
They have breakfast but open too late for us. Coffee would have been great. I mentioned to Martha after we check out and she said why didn't we mentioned before, she would've made it possible for us. I guess next time.

Breakfast was good but not included in the price
Hot water was very inconsistent and no water pressure. This a small boutique hotel with maybe 4 to 6 rooms and could use some upgrading.

I liked everything. The staff were fantastic and friendly. The hotel was extremely clean. We ate there too and the food, prepared by Cesar, was very nice.

Location was ideal for walking visit of central Chapala.
Easy access to good outdoor dining.
Poor communication on guests' need for night-time access between street and hotel lobby.

Location, location, location. There is street parking in front of hotel. I could see my car from my room.
A bit noisy. Noise from the vendors, food vendors directly across the street on the malecon. This is Mexico so we need to expect noise and loud music. Nothing to do with the hotel or the room but I had food and a Beer with my food, they charged 100 peso, be aware the alcohol brought from the eating places on the Malecon are gouging.

Breakfast was offered but we ate elsewhere
Bothered by mosquitos. Maybe spraying around the property or oneself might help. Mosquito net around the bed for sure.
