It was a self catering holiday,but there are supermarkets near by walking distance 5-10 mins,about 10-15 mins walk into Dubrovnik old town,but the Uber cabs that cheap we mostly got them to move around Dubrovnik and outlying places of interest to visit restaurants etc.

The only thing i would add,if your mobility of getting around is difficult,beware ther can be a lot of steps to access some sites,but that’s a personal choice,on the whole Dubrovnik is a beautiful place to stay,we were with friends and we thought it was worth the effort.

What can we say about these apartments? Absolutely everything about them was fantastic - spotlessly clean, tasteful decor, quality fixtures, and fittings, every utensil you need, a pool and best of all, the host Marijana! What a lovely genuine lady, couldn't do enough for you. Thank you so much Marijana for making our holiday so special. Best host we have ever had! Great location with a seaview and only a 10 minute stroll downhill to the old town (and a cheap Uber back👍)

Fabulous apartments in a great location, easy access to old town & Lapad. Marijana was the perfect host, who went above & beyond to make us feel welcome & comfortable. Her extra touches & friendly manner made this an extremely enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend!

We arrived to Marlin apartments after 2am as our flight was delayed. Marijana very kindly stayed up to meet us and the pancakes were very welcome after our long flight. Our apartment was wonderful, so clean and fully equipped with everything you needed. The views from the apartment were amazing. We loved the pool and surrounding area. Overall it was a very relaxing place to stay and we would return to these apartments again. Thank you Marijana for being such a wonderful hostess.

Marijana, the host is absolutely incredible! She was extremely accommodating and friendly and even allowed my friend and I to park our motorbikes at a safe location nearby. The pool was excellent and everything was spotless - views from the balcony were stunning and nothing was left to be desired. These apartments are thoroughly recommended and we will be going back again - By the end of the week we were made to feel like old friends coming to visit rather than paying guests.

The whole stay from booking to leaving was made seamless by the attention to detail going the extra mile by Marijana (Host). Marijana gave plenty of guidance before I even left home to advise on facilities and parking and was prompt with her responses. Marijana also went above and beyond to allow us to park at her home and transfer us in her own car. On arrival at the apartment Marijana welcomed us with a bottle of homemade wine or a beer and some cake, which was a nice touch. We were made aware of the local facilities and giving some advice when navigating attractions. The apartment itself is finished to the highest standard you will see locally and was spotlessly clean throughout. I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family should they be visiting Dubrovnik. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A large, clean, beautifully equipped and very comfortable apartment, the photos don’t do it justice. The owner was delightful and always available - she gave us refreshments on arrival and lots of helpful advice and recommendations, she left milk, tea,coffee, biscuits, beer and wine in the apartment, she popped in during our stay to empty the bin every few days and also changed the bed linen and towels half way through our week, it felt more like a hotel than an apartment. The pool area and surroundings were excellent too. Highly recommended!

I would say without any doubt that this the best apartment we've stayed in. Absolutely no corner cut in the design and fixtures and fittings The apartment is modern and fresh. Spacious and spotlessly clean. Our superior room had one ensuite and one main bathroom. Dishwasher and washing machine also. A wonderful view of the Adriatic Sea from the balcony. Linen crisp and white. Rooms are fully air conditioned. Cooking facilities ultra modern cooker and all the utilities you could ever need to prepare a meal if you wish . A lovely balcony where we would eat had the most wonderful view. The location is very peaceful away from the road however the room has double glazing anyway which shields out any noise. The outside of the apartment is equally tasteful with a lovely clean pool which is also quiet and peaceful . Ideally situated in the city It's only a short walk to the beautiful old town about 10 minutes . The apartment quality would have been enough usually to make this a fantastic holiday but for me which made this a special place were the hosts Marijana and Tonic. These are very special people. Marijana was there to meet us on arrival greeted us with drinks and snacks on the lovely terrace outside the apartment. Lots of tips and advice on our stay, place to go, day trips etc . Such a wonderful warm welcome it really felt as if we were staying with family and we are ever so grateful to you both .. the other reviews just confirm what I've written . Absolutely beautiful apartments and wonderful hosts. I will have no hesitation in returning here again and will look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Nothing everything was perfect

Brilliant apartment - spotless, modern, and well equipped with a sea view balcony. The pool was great and we had it to ourselves most of the time. The host, Marijana, met us when we arrived and gave us recommendations of places to visit/eat etc., the homemade pancakes and wine were an added bonus! We will be recommending the Marlin Apartments to our friends :-)

Amazing apartment, so fresh and clean, great facilities and a perfect location. Marijana is a fantastic host, greeting us on arrival with wine and crepes was a lovely touch, also more than happy to help you find your feet in Dubrovnik, could not have done more for us.

The apartment was was beautiful, very clean and comfortable beds. Lots of thoughtful items included in kitchen and bathrooms. The owner Marijana was a really kind host providing drinks and snacks when we arrived late at night, finding a lilo for my daughter to play with in the pool and giving lots of good tips for restaurants etc.

we had the pleasure of staying at the marlin apartments it was perfect in every way, great location beautiful pristine apartment and a wonderful host..nothing is to much trouble you are made to feel so welcome and one of the few apartments around with a swimming pool… the place is a gem.

We liked everything! The host Marijana was exceptional, OUTSTANDING and just perfect.

Marijana and her lovely girls were amazing. Everything was first class, from the apartment with wonderful views to Marijanas lovely pancakes and wine that she so kindly gave us. We would love to come back one day Dubrovnik is beautiful.

We had the best stay at Marlin Apartments. Our first trip to Dubrovnik was made very special by our lovely host Marijana.

The property exceeded all expectations beginning with a fantastic meet and greet with our magnificent host Marijana. The property is very new and modern, spotless clean and equipped with everything you would need and more. Our 2 bed on the top floor had an amazing balcony overlooking the city and the sea. The pool area was a dream and cleaned daily with very comfortable sun loungers. We cannot rate or recommend the property enough and will definitely be back.

Everything about the property was perfect. We were met by Marijana and had a lovely warm welcome with pancakes and home made wine. Our room (no.3) was on the top floor and had a wonderful view overlooking the sea. The apartment was fitted with quality furnishings throughout and two bathrooms and bedrooms. The pool was a shared pool with the other apartments that Marijana has in Marlin but always very quiet and more than enough sun loungers. It’s a 10-15 mins stroll to the old town down hill but we always got an Uber back which cost approx £3. We went to Lucin restaurant on our last night which was recommended by Marijana and can confirm its great but recommend booking as there’s normally a long wait. We also tried the local Italian pizza place across the road and that was very nice and half the price of some of the restaurants in the old town. The best bar we went and only found it on our last night was The Kop Bar (yes the owner is a Liverpool FC fan) which had the most stunning views of the sea and Dubrovnik walls. (Photo below is from the Kop Bar) We went on the evening and I must say it is a unbelievable. So in summary a perfect apartment in a perfect location with a great host. Recommended 100%!

The apartment was beautifully furnished, the pool was great and a real bonus on a city break. We really enjoyed having outside space with views. Our host, Maijana was lovely, we were met on arrival and treated to wine and pancakes!

Perfect location only a 10 minute walk from the old town! Marijana made us feel very welcome, provided us with everything we needed for our 4 night stay and even went through a map with things to do/places to see over homemade pancakes and wine ☺️

Super clean and modern, these apartments are new and tastefully designed. Super quiet at night; 15 mins from old town so close by the action but not in the thick of it; fabulous pool area for cooling down after a day of sightseeing. Feels really safe to walk around at night. Marijana is a wonderful, knowledgeable and generous host.

I love everything about Marijana’s apartments! But if you weren’t fit and able bodied the hill/steps up to the apartments could be difficult as there’s no road access directly to the property. But don’t let this put you off if you’re reasonable fit.

Marlin apartements and Marijana is the best, we have ever tryed - and we travel a lot. The place and the service is amazing. We will recommend is to everybody who wants to visit Dubrovnik. The location in town is also in top - walking distance to Old town, harbour and beaches.

A really beautiful place, apartments are brand new, very clean, equipped with everything you need and even more. Bed is extra comfy, air condition is quiet and working well. The pool is great, ideal for chilling. Its not that far from the old town, around 15 min walking distance to Pile Gate. The host is the nices person ever, she takes care of you and the place all the time, she is really friendly and helpfull. She can recommend places to visit, help in some small arrangemenst. I could not imagin a better place to stay. I definately recommend to stay here, the price is really reasonable for everything you get and all the comfort this place gives you.
