Really nice hotel, comfortable and staff are really helpful.
They have provide a lot advise on what to do around which has made our stay in Bohol incredible.
So far the best place we’ve stayed in Philippine.
The food from the restaurant was also amazing.
I really recommend this hotel

Pool is clean, staff are all helpful. I can bring food from outside.
Wifi is bad. Keeps in dropping even just browsing facebook or video call on zoom

The ambience is nice, room is clean and i love the seating area in the balcony. Staff were also accommodating and friendly.
The AC wasn’t cold at all, we have to switch on the fan all the time which I wasn’t fond of. I also didn’t like much that we got to walk so much to reach alona but that was my bad because I know already for a fact this was not a beachfront hotel.

Very friendly staff. Assists your needs.
Facilities need to be repaired or replaced (i.e. the shower in our room needs to be pressed always while taking a bath so the water will flow)
The lock of the sliding door to the terrace is also broken

The beds are super comfortable. Best sleeps I’ve had since arriving to Philippines! The staff are lovely and happy to help. The facilities available are nice to use, and the resort itself looks very good. Location is close to all of the action in Panglao, and very near the airport. Blackout curtains were also a brilliant addition!
Room felt very unfinished. There was a lot of exposed concrete, and behind the tv was a big hole in the wall where all the wiring went, which was again exposed concrete and no finishing around it. The sink in the bathroom was also unfinished underneath with exposed piping. The sign you can hang on the door flew off on the second day when we hung it out to ask to have the room cleaned, so the room didn’t get cleaned the entire stay. The food/drink available at the bar is very expensive, as are the trips the reception books for you. While convenient, you’ll get much better deals if you shop around. The tv required so much set up before we could use it, and the lack of lamps meant you had to choose between darkness and very harsh overhead lights all the time.

Lovely resort, nice rooms, excellent bathroom/shower. Nice pool. Short walk to beach. Wifi was ok.
Access road to the property. Very rocky, and badly lit. Quite dangerous walking down it at night.

Absolutely great place. Quiet, near of everything, big rooms and very good discounts for last days. And boss? maybe? who organice two nights more. 🤗 We were here 4+2 days because why leave! Family 4 adults, 3 rooms.

too expensive, I will not pay for that next time
the price is too high (expensive)for that kind of hotel, not for that price. I guess I booked on a pick season.

The breakfast was poor and very expensive.
Every time after taking a shower we had a puddle in the bathroom

Room was very spacious and conveniently located close to the swimming pool.
No free breakfast

The room was great - really spacious, has a little sitting area, huge comfy bed, US/UK TV channels, a mini fridge & a kettle which I all found really useful. The bathroom is also huge and I never had an issue getting hot water in the shower.
The staff were great, and were quick to help me whenever I had a problem. They also organised my airport transfer which was easy & prompt
The pool is really nice and there’s a second pool next door that you can also use, it has a swim up bar. Loads of sun beds available as well
The hotel has 2 dogs and there’s 3 puppies that also live along the road of the hotel (homeless). I love dogs so for me this was really nice
On the first & second night I found a cockroach in my room, I’m not sure if it was the same one or two different ones. On the second night it didn’t run away, so a member of staff came and got rid of it quickly. There were also a few ants in my room, but the staff used some spray to help get rid of them.
On my last morning there were kids in the pool screaming really loudly at around 8am. Given a lot of the rooms are very close to the pool area, it would be good to have a sign about keeping noise to a minimum in the early morning

nice rooms, very spacious and clean
location was kinda hard to find at first but not far from the center so it’s convenient

The pool facilities here and at the resort next door were excellent. The staff were very friendly
and there was decent service at both bars/restaurants. Our room itself was one of the nicest we’ve had in the Philippines; the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room itself was bright and airy. It’s a short walk to the beach and all of the restaurants, bars and dive shops that Alona Beach has to offer.
Nothing.

Breakfast: served from 7:30 until 10:30. American and French breakfast were okay. We had to ask for a bit more of jam and butter as it was not enough to spread on all the bread we were brought. The staff was accommodating with our requests. The cappuccino (not included but we paid separately) had an amazing foam but coffee quality was not the best.
Cleanliness: facilities were clean and sanitised. Daily refresh was requested and carried out.
Facilities: well maintained, clean and very nice.
Location: very closed to the beach and the main road with all restaurants. Tricycles can be hired on the main road. The 200mt road connecting the resort to the main road is not paved and there is no lightening at night: it was not a big issue for us, even if it was raining. It is only 200mt of walking, the road is safe/calm (residential) even at night and with the help of a smartphone it can easily be done.
Staff: in general accommodating. Info on the facilities were provided while checking in.
Wi-Fi: no issues with speed and connection. 4 different codes were provided when checking in. Keep in mind to request more if you have more than 4 devices to connect.
As per description in Booking, it was supposed to be a children-free facility but on the very contrary there were screaming children all around. One woke us up in the morning banging on our door for a couple of minutes. On our first morning the gardeners started to take care of the grass at around 7h30 in the morning… not the best good morning either.
Rooms are not 100% sound-proofed but it is the general trend in the Philippines.
In case you’d need it, there is no hair dryer in the room 15. Shampoo and body wash are available but not dental bkits with small tooth brush. On our check-out day we woke up without water so we couldn’t take a shower before leaving for breakfast (about 30 min without water, perhaps it came back as soon as we left tho).. in any case we didn’t experience other problems with water and sanitation facilities.
There is no laundry service but we asked the staff and they sent our clothes to an external service provider together with the hotel bedsheet and towels (3kg laundry= 300php). We gave our dirty laundry on a Tuesday morning and we received them back on the following morning.
At the reception, staff are not very warm and welcoming and, although they considered and treated all our requests (laundry service) at time they seemed lost in what to say/to do and we felt like we were somehow bothering them. Information on restaurants, supermarket, atms or any other useful info were not really provided.
Value for money:
For us it was 197€: 2 persons in a Deluxe Double Room for 3 nights. We considered slightly over-priced, especially considering that travel/tourist taxes (24€) have to be added to the room price (of course not Amihan Resort’s fault).

Accessible, clean & big rooms, quiet place perfect to relax, nice amenities & nice staff
nothing just the bumpy road going to the hotel
4.0 / 5.0
It is not that far from the sea and city center (10 mins walk, the road there is terrible). Nice and clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. The room was big enough. The balcony was also good. Big bathroom with hot water (good pressure). Nice pool and good pool table. Breakfast was okay, could be warmer. Overall it was nice stay, but for the price, I expected better service.
Wifi was working properly only at the lobby and for each device there was 1 wifi password (we have 5 devices because of work, so it was just annoying). The communication with the staff was sometimes so hard, which is annoying when you have to repeat yourself like 4 times (The lock of our door broke and they ask us if its okay not to lock the door, always forgetting sometihing). Sometimes there was a smell from the bathroom and there were a lot of small flies, probably because of the drainage maybe
