Trevor was extremely helpful despite being very busy and often the only person on duty.
- We advised that we were travelling for my father's funeral. Despite this we were given Rooms 4 & 10. In what world do you separate travellers staying for a funeral?
- There was a noisy boiler or some such equipment in Room 10. Each time we ran the water in was very noisy.
- Breakfast orders finished very early, at 08.45, even at the weekend. This is far too early.
- Quality of Continental Breakfast was quite poor
- Room 4 didn't sleep on the night after my father's funeral due to an extremely inconsiderate fellow guest slamming their door next to her room at 10.30pm and having their TV blaring out until 02.00am. There was no number to call to reception to sort it out

It is quite an old inn, so you cannot expect to find modern furniture. You can hear everything from the other rooms, so if you need to sleep it's not a good choice to pass by,but it is ok overall

Mistake in booking info. Had not prepared for our arrival correctly. Argued that we did not have two rooms but there were two in the register. No extra single bed as requested. Needed to have this brought later. Intrusive staff barged in on my 10 year old granddaughter while I was in the bathroom and she was alone in the main room. Staff said she was looking for lost hotel keys even though we'd already had the conversation that they were not in the room. Got our name wrong in a rude way. Overcharged with an argument and required a refund.

The price. The bar and that awesome table under the chimney. I recommend the burger from the menu, it’s was bloody fantastic. The staff were also nice. I would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay before a flight from Luton. Lovely pub meal with an added bonus of a pub quiz.

Not too far from where I was visiting
Food was average and done in a dated manner. Food was the same.
Lots of stairs to get round, you could not stay here if you are confined to your wheelchair. I struggled using my prosthetic leg, had I not have had my friend there to help I wouldn't have been able to get up all the stairs to my room

the smelt so much of smoke, I thought the window had been left open and that we were about the smoking hut but we weren’t
