wonderful location with spectacular views. Bus stop very close by. There are wonderful walks in the area. The restaurant about 5 minutes walk is part of the same company was very good. Organic farm behind serves the restaurant and you can look around it. comfy beds and good breakfast served to your room.

nothing- we would go again. The most spectacular of balconies. You can watch the plantations below coming to life every morning, lots of birds to watch and stunning Mountain views. So peaceful and quiet.

broken windows cold , no cleaning of rooms

Room was very nice, clean and had awesome views. In february room was a bit cold but luckily we had enough clothes to get along with it.

The Views from the balcony, and from the pool across the road were fabulous.

The facilities were a little more basic than I expected but the place was more than adequate.

Excellent location. Lovely view into the valley and banana plantation. Good information pack available through QR code in the room.

The reception desk was not often open so we didn't meet any of the staff during our stay, which might have been nice to have a personal touch/ask their recommendations etc.

Would definitely stay here again. Superb location, characterful building, really nice rooms, lovely staff. Swimming pool and sun terraces round it off. If you come to Hermigua, stay here.

Los Telares are on multiple spots - more building (pictures shown here somehow seem to resemble it as at one place, it is not a mistake just my misunderstanding). The pool was across the street. The house is historical and nice, also pool is on very good spot. We ordered a breakfast to try, and that was also a very nice treat. The concept of the accommodation is to be sustainable, so it is reflected in both accommodation and sourcing of food. It is related also to nearby restaurant and kind of open-air museum about La Gomera life. It is a good place also for some away-from-office work with inspirational views and calmness. The nearest beach is about 4,5 km but it is quite wild, better to go to San Sebastian. There are some spaces to park, if you rent a car. The kitchenette is quite tiny, but it allows some basic cooking. Utensils were plenty. Great is the idea of a shared pantry, a cupboard in the corridor where guests can leave some food and items they did not used. So when you arrive best go there and see what you can get before you go shopping.

There seems to be some problem with water pressure. Although, the water is warmed up by sun and that can influence the temperature, it does not explain why the water in kitchen sometimes stops (also the cold water), in shower it is basically dripping (I would understand for saving reasons, but you could have a quick shower in a minute, like this you have to wait while you drip yourself over, instead of showering), but in contrast, in the sink the water goes full speed, so if that would be case of saving in kitchen and shower, it would not make a sense. Another issue is with beds, that are in a bit of a flux. We were in three places on Canaries and this seems to be a local thing. Beds are individual platforms on slick floor, and have no braces for matracess. So when you turn or move they do also. So when you sleep they drift. Both frame around floor and mattresses on them. This is partially funny, but partially uncomfortable. Mattresses themselves are comfy.

Beautiful location! Great place to enjoy hiking trips! The view on the mountains and banana trees was spectacular.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Telares. Room and kitchen were simple but very adequate and we adored the view. The common room/lounge was lovely and a great place to relax. Same for the pool! There were nearby restaurants and a grocery store a short walk away. The upper part of Hermigua is more dramatic than down the road and it was close to the Barranca de Cedro (a steep hike). Environmentaly consciousness waste system with recycling containers at the end of the hall and a left-over food supplies exchange.

We kept the windows closed in the evening (some mosquitoes in the banana farm just below), and the provided fan lacked sufficient power. The Wifi was weak. The kitchen was adequate but could have used a few items like colander, spatula, kitchen knife. But on balance, a nice place.

Comfy beds, beautiful view from the balcony!!

This is really just a small thing, but the wifi on the balcony was basically not working, and so I couldn’t study and work from there like I planned. Inside it was really good connection though!

Very soft mattress

Location was very nice with view to banana plantation. Bathing in pool pleased us in the evenings. Personal was nice too.

Bathroom was very small without window.

Very spacious and clean, internet works perfectly!! Beautiful gardens and sun-bed area. the view of the mountains, banana trees and quiet night made it a very special place to recharge & sleep!

It needs a bit of renovation, some of the furniture old and kitchen a bit too small.

Spectacular location and view. Great pool and garden. Friendly service. Many hiking trails in front of the door. Close to supermarket, museum, pharmacy. Delicious restaurant and breakfast. Sustainable concept.

Subjective perception, not related to the accommodation: Unfortunately, you can hear the cars. Annoying bird that made noise every night. Suggestions for improvement of the accommodation: Storage for wet dishes. Remove dead insects on the wall.
