A beautiful room in an ancient convent. Large bathroom with bathtub and a bidet 👏👏. Brd was comfy and pillows smelled fresh.

TV credenza was dusty. No international channels like BBC or CNN on TV. Seems like Spain has not yet realized that not all tourists are Spanish!

Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and good location

The swimming pool was a real god send. The service inside the hotel was good. The position with respect to the Plaza Mayor was excellent.

The hotel is a converted monastery/convent in the medieval town of Trujillo only a short walk from the Plaza Mayor. It is relatively easy to find from the motorway although the streets are very narrow. The hotel is full of historic character and has both exterior and interior secure parking. There is an outside pool which was very welcome in the heat-wave. All of the historic sites associated with the conquistadors are within walking distance and Trujillo is a very picturesque town.

Reviewed by Howard. This room was booked by my wife Catherine. This parador is a beautiful old building and used to be a convent. It has loads of character and is a special place to stay. My room was massive and so comfortable and I spent three nights here. I had one evening meal here which was superb. The cheese ice cream was one of the finest deserts I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating.

Everything here was excellent.

The fact we had to book for breakfast and when we arrived early were turned away.Breakfast area was chaotic, coffee machines empty, no hot food and some staff rather short tempered. No info about booking garage or parking in advance
