Ce Slaughter Beach Cozy Cottage a hâte de partager la belle plage avec de nouveaux visiteurs. La propriété est située directement en face de l'accès à la plage publique afin que vos pieds ne se lassent jamais de marcher jusqu'à la plage. Le cottage dispose d'une connexion Wi-Fi et d'une télévision par câble. Cependant, se prélasser ou lire un livre sur le patio projeté est parfois tout aussi relaxant. Le chalet est situé sur deux lots avec une belle vue sur la réserve naturelle de sorte que vous aurez beaucoup d'espace pour s'amuser en plein air, lapin ou observer les oiseaux en plus de votre propre intimité. Il y a un grand patio extérieur pour les dîners au coucher du soleil. Les rénovations récentes comprennent tous les nouveaux planchers et ventilateurs de plafond en plus d'un chauffe-eau sans réservoir, de la climatisation, d'une toute nouvelle laveuse et sécheuse et d'une douche extérieure pour plus de commodité. Le système d'eau chaude sans réservoir permet des quantités infinies d'eau chaude pour tous les invités!

My family and I loved this property! It was 100 steps to a beautiful, quiet, beach!
The house was clean! We liked having 3 bedrooms! The entire family enjoyed the outdoor shower! Would definitely recommend!

Getting to the tranquil cottage was “interesting”, it’s on a natural reserve, with a beach full of dead horse crabs, and blood sucking flies as well as mosquitos. My wife was bitten and bloody, and had an allergic reaction. Being with a baby, we realized this was a bad idea. We didn’t feel secure in the house, windows exiting the bathroom had no curtains, the house was not cleaned, the floors were full of sand, black long human hairs and short white animal hairs were found. Our 1 year old granddaughter found different snacks by the books and in the couches, such as a peanut chewy nut bar and pretzel crackers. The pack and play was dusty and stained so we did not use it. The furniture was very old, the beds were spring beds and the beds shook constantly, with old blankets that had holes in them. There were no outside lights either and it was creepy to be outside after 9pm. The WiFi only works in the main area, not in the bedrooms and the AC is in the main room, therefore you have to sleep with the doors open, or the fan on in your room. The location and home reminded me of a scary movie. There was a very strict list of everything that needs to be done upon departing the location, such as vacuuming, and taking off bed sheets. We cleaned up after the people that stayed there and had to clean up after ourselves. If we knew the truth about the cottage we would Have never ever stayed here. All the good beaches are 30-40 minutes away from the cottage.

We had a wonderful trip. The cottage and surrounding area was just as pictured. The place was clean, well stocked, and offered plenty of space, huge bonus for having sheets and towels so we didn't have to pack them. We were thrilled to be able to bring our two elderly dogs. The beach was clean and beautiful, buggy bear the cottage but that was expected.

We absolutely loved staying in this perfect little cottage, literally right across from beach access. The location was perfect, and my son also loved the playground right down the street. The outside shower was an added bonus for sandy, wet feet and for our dog who loves swimming. We wanted quiet, safe and dog friendly and that's exactly what we got🙂

We stayed here while my son had a lacrosse tournament in Frederica. This place is in a great location and the cottage was very clean and sneakily spacious. The location is very nice and close to the beach. We would love to stay here again!

We stayed here while visiting my family for Christmas, so we were only in the beach house to sleep. The property was spotless and spacious, and I always appreciate contactless check-ins. My family of 5, including 3 young adult children, had ample space to spread out. The location is perfect. Although it was December, we walked the beach each morning. It is literally across the street. The National Wildlife Refuge is less than a mile away. I saw snow geese in the pond there on my run.
The host was very responsive. We had trouble with the wifi on Christmas Eve, and she had it fixed immediately.

The house was fine and as described. There was a washer and dryer that I had not seen in the description which was nice. The beach was clean and not crowded even on Labor Day weekend. The water was very shallow so that you couldn’t swim

If you are looking around for a place to stay near the beach, stop and book this. The house is adorable - cuter than the pictures even show. The house was very clean. We brought meals to cook and they had every imaginable cooking pan, dish and cooking utensil.
We played cards at the round table in the kitchen, walked across the street to the beach and had the most relaxing time.
The home owner was very responsive and helpful.
We can't wait to come back!

We loved staying in this cozy cottage. The house was clean and we liked that there was room to put our stuff (wall hooks, cabinets, tables). It is in a nice quiet neighborhood right across the street from the beach. The dog loved walking on the beach every morning and playing ball in the backyard. The location is great, we went all the way up to Dover and all the way down to Fenwick Island. My favorite stops were Lewes (Lightship Overfalls, Cape Henlopen State Park, Crooked Hammock Brewery) and Milton (Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor).

This was our first trip to DE and we were pleased with the rental. It was located across from one of the public access beaches. Very quiet location and comfortable cottage- had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was great with afternoon sun. There was only 2 of us and 2 dogs but plenty of space for more!

We enjoyed our week at this charming beach cottage at Slaughter. Sunrises over the bay and sunsets over the nature preserve in the back yard made for some beautiful memories. There was plenty of room for the whole family, including the four-legged members who loved walking on the beach right across the street.
The beds were comfy, everything was well-stocked, and we would definitely return for another wonderful week at the beach.

Slaughter Beach cottage
This cottage was the perfect home base for our family summer vacation. Close enough to Rehoboth and Cape Henlopen to make day trips, and in between the kids loved being able to cross the street to a beach full of treasures. The house was super clean and spacious inside with plenty of room to comfortably fit our group of six adults, two energetic toddlers and a dog.

Spring Break Get Away
This was the perfect property for a spring break/fieldhockey tournament experience! Super clean, very cozy, had all the amenities needed! The property manager was incredibly responsive and very helpful with tips to explore the area. The ability to bring our dogs to enjoy with us was such a bonus as well as the fact that the house sits right in the middle of a nature preserve! We saw eagles, osprey, diamond back turtle hatchlings as well as all the treasures the bay offered up each day. Learning to skip rocks was also a highlight. We can highly recommend the area (small, quiet town, friendly people) as a base to explore other small towns (Lewes) or just to hang out and relax.

Needs a Spring cleaning
It seemed to me that if there was an opportunity to skimp on things it was done. If l was the host I would make sure there were plenty of everything so the guests wouldn’t have to bring extra. There was dirt under the heat registers. I also saw ants. When we asked to use the high chair it was quite dirty and had con webs on it. It was not ready when we got there. The pack and play was provided too and needed a good scrubbing. There were spider webs on the porches.

Cottage was perfect for a short weekend in Delaware with family. The location is great for the quick access for the beach. Town is super quiet in the off season. Perfect place to relax and catch up with family.

Wonderful Home, Beautiful Location!
Wonderful home on the marsh side with beach access right out the front door. The home was comfortable and had every thing we needed for the week. Bedding and towels smelled and felt very clean. The beds were comfortable which I find rare in rentals. We enjoyed the screened in porch when it was warm enough to eat out there. Property manager and owner were very responsive and kind. We hope to stay again soon!

Wonderful
We stayed over Thanksgiving. The house is wonderful. It is located right across the street from the public beach access. We had four kids with us, so they were able to go play on the beach each day. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook dinner as well.

Great quiet place to relax
Quiet beach and a nice place to relax. Enjoyed the views from the front towards the beach and the back towards the saltmarsh. Great sunsets and sunrises. Quiet street. Comfortable cottage providing all the essentials including olive oil which I forgot. Nice layout of the cottage. Comfortable sitting inside and outside - only had to fight with some flies. Would definitely return.

Week get away with Molley (dog)
Home is right across from beach which meets a shallow bay. Slaughter Beach is halfway between Dover and Bethany Beach. Pet friendly home and beach. Home comfortable and casual and clean. Took our dog out every day for an adventure.

Years of enjoyment
Have been coming to Slaughter Beach for over 60 years. Love the peace and quiet. The house had everything we needed and was well kept. Was a little disappointed that the extra 2 sleeping accomadations were just sofas.{ It's hard for our 6' 5'' grandson to sleep there } The listing said there was a pull out bed. We really enjoyed our time there ! Caught lots of crabs ! Would definately rent there again !
