Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Personal, sie sind jederzeit unseren Wünschen umgehend und freundlich nachgekommen. Besonders gut hat uns der Kids Club und das Personal von Siam Adventure Club gefallen, es waren nur wenige Kinder zu der Zeit im Hotel. Es wurde sich daher viel Zeit für unsere Kinder genommen und schön mit ihnen gespielt, meine Töchter kam jeden Tag mit neuen Zöpfen und gebastelten Sachen die sie liebte ins Hotelzimmer.

Wir hatten anfangs ein Familienzimmer in dem die Luft zum Atmen sehr feucht war, das Zimmer roch unangenehm. Unserer Bitte für ein Zimmer Wechsel wurde aber sofort nachgegangen und das zweite Zimmer war dann super.

The property was great for children.

A number of families at the property got sick and management did not act. The property stunk of sewage and the first 2 rooms we were in stunk of mould. The teenage retreat should be condemned, it reeked of mould and sewage and was unfit for habitation.

Rooms were spacious and clean.

Loved our stay. Very comfortable. Very much a family, child centred resort. If you don't like kids and fun. Spend the days exploring. Very quiet in the evenings.

I may have chosen different music for the pool bar.

Very clean, the staff were very helpful and a friendly atmosphere, heaps of activities for kids and a great place to stay for couples, singles or family, excellellent value for money

The destination was good, close to the beach. Tidy and nice place, we really enjoyed. The hotel was a little old and needs more renovating but it was not a big deal. Pool and waterslides were nice. Friendly personnel. Breakfast was ok.

The property is really good for families traveling with kids. The entire place is designed to make the stay fun for the little ones. There are many activities, a playground, pools, animators etc. Beach is a short walk from the hotel, the pool is well-maintained. The breakfast was generally very good, though it does get a bit crowded in the breakfast area.

The rooms were old, poorly maintained and are somewhat falling apart. None of our drawers were closing properly, hardwood floor in the room was warped, and the AC was leaking (though it got fixed after we called). If you are like us and are not spending a lot of time in the room, that's not a huge issue.

Kids facilities

Elevator was broken, kids beds not made up, had to walk 5 levels to get to the room. Only compensated with free late checkout.

The fact that they call family room, room with only 1 bed, that the curtains are old and dirty, that the hotel looks like abandoned, food quality is poor, water in the pool is dirty (the filter does not work)

I didn’t get to see any of it, but the location is reasonable.

I got to the hotel with a fully confirmed reservation; however, when I tried to check in, the front desk told me they were full and I couldn’t stay.

I like the atmosphere, where children were welcomed. Although I was travelling with y partner only, I really appreciated this as it's sometimes difficult travelling with kids.

The WiFi was not the best. Also, please check your room number when ordering room delivery from the QRCode app that sits on your desk: it might be different! When we arrived, no ne told us the gym and spa would open within few dys, so we did not use them :(

Location to Surin beach is great. The rooms were a great size, but very basic. The staff did try to attend to the many issues raised.

Booked a family room deal on Booking.com, and unfortunately the two rooms were not interconnecting. The resort seemed to be still reopening after the COVID slowdown and also was recently rebranded from the Novotel brand. One room always smelt musky and both rooms suffered from terrible sewerage smells (which I assume affected the whole block). The pool filter was broken, with the pool being green every morning. Whilst it was vacuumed each day, it was not inviting. The rooms were a very good size, but incredibly basic, and the TV channels comprised 3 news channels. Very poor for the international crowd. The new owners have some work to do to restore the resort to it's Novotel hey day's.

The location was fantastic. The facilities were great. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room smelt musty all the time. The room was a good size and had everything you need but it was dated and not somewhere you would want to spend alot of time.

Fast check-in/ check out. Close to the sea, very nice beach. Water facilities for kids. Balcony view.

Elevator is not working, we has to go 5-th floor each time with bags. Breakfasts so bad, poor choice and queue all the time, no desserts. Beach Towels not available all the time, as well as water sleighs. Ill-mannered guests keept them for all the time at rooms! Water in bathroom wasn't available all the time.

You could escape from the resort to a fantastic beach

Staff were rude and unhelpful, housekeeping refuses to clean unless you ask at reception and face a pleading battle as to why your room needs cleaning. They don't change bed sheets, constantly take your towels and don't replace them. Kids club which was a major selling point was nonexistent, the restaurant was poor and extremely overpriced. Pool was dirty with exposed wires and machines next to it. It is a shell of a hotel, trying to live off it's past as Novotel (which they unashamedly still utilise their branding on multiple things). Booked ask for a family room and was given a room with a double bed for a family of 4, they then proceed to try and charge us to put up a camp bed at £30 a night... I would not recommend this hotel unless you plan to never be in it.

The location to the beach was great.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! it used to be a Novotel, but now it’s just a run down shell of a resort. the pool is absolutely disgusting- my daughter unfortunately got an ear infection from the water. Room was seldom cleaned - my husband went into neighboring rooms and took towels, water and rubbish bags so that we could have some in our room. The elevator doesn’t work so we had to take four flights of stairs anytime we wanted to go anywhere - including carrying luggage up and down. I feel sorry for the staff as they are trying their best : but it’s impossible to comment on anything good when there are tiles falling off the stairs, holes in the umbrellas, rooms wide open. The clientele are heavily Russian which gives a different vibe. The wifi is super dodgy. The breakfast was lame and after the first day we ate at the neighboring restaurant. The pictures DO NOT match what you are booking. You are better off staying somewhere else.
