absolutely freezing because the radiator was completely switched off. shower only lukewarm. taking to another guest at breakfast and they had a similar experience but didn’t comment on the shower. won’t be staying again.

Room was overlooking the main street - which was rather noisy. Keys had to be collected at a nearby pub - with bored-looking staff eager to be finished with us as fast as possible. Bathroom needs TLC both in terms of cleanliness and decoration.

situated at very busy cross roads. Constant traffic - (including heavy goods vehicles) continually passing, slowing and accelerating away. traffic quietened at night. due to age of building our room was quite dark, with very uneven floors and dated bathroom

The staff were helpful 're car parking and places for evening meals. Abundance of excellent dog walks along the river banks close to town and out by the elan valley dams. Breakfasts were quite good.

Location in central Rhayader, which was a good & Bad thing, as the clock tower outside the room window chimes EVERY HOUR on the hour throughout the day and all NIGHT, so if you want any sleep forget it, take your ear plugs!!!!

Wasn't made aware or informed of this prior to the stay and NO mention of it when booking. 2. Heating in the room was Completely OFF for 3 of the 4 nights we stayed, walls & ceiling are paper thin, so the people in the room above sounded like Elephants dancing on the ceiling, and the guy snoring all night in the next room, sounded like he was in my room!!! 3. No hot water from the sink tap. 4, Toilet and sink waste has a very noisy macerator, so anyone who uses it in the night, will wake everyone up!! 4. Wifi was on & worked on the first night, then had a useless 0.12mbps download for the other 3 days, so absolutely useless. 5. Restaurant & Bar downstairs was CLOSED all week 6. Emergency light (only the green indicator LED light) in the bedroom is way too bright & lights up the whole room Green at night, when all the lights are off, so makes going to sleep difficult and irritating.

Staff were friendly. Room was warm. Food at sister pub was lovely! Good central location to explore the area.

There was a frequent knocking noise throughout the whole night, possibly heating pipes? The toilet made loud noises, including whilst having a bath. Toilet seat wasn't secured to the floor. Bathroom floor had come away. The chair in the room was very worn and made a bad first impression. It was a match day and this meant very little sleep, one guest left the front door wide open at 2am meaning we had to get up and close it (appreciate this can't be helped by the host-but having a room by the front door wasn't ideal)

the rooms could have been cleaner cobwebs on beams .. and the clock outside makes a noise all night the noise was on the hour every hour didn’t get a wink of sleep the rooms are paper thin I could hear next door snoring and above us you could hear every move earplugs will deffo be needed to sleep

Curtains let in quite a lot of light from the street outside. That’s about it.

Breakfast was superb and Ty Morgan's even opened the breakfast room early for us as we were competing in a motor sport event that started early on the Sunday morning. This involved the staff coming in early just for us, so thank you very much Ty Morgan's. We also had a lovely meal in The Crown.
