This hotel was perfect for my needs. Clean & comfortable. nice decor in the bedrooms. Food was very good & staff warm & friendly. I would recommend this property for an overnight stay

Room was spacious, clean. It was quiet with no road noise. There was a kettle with tea and coffee and biscuits. The bed was comfortable, enough pillows provided. Evening meal was delicious. Sat in dog friendly area of bar. Service excellent and staff attentive. Requested early breakfast as needed to leave by 8am. Continental breakfast was left for us, which was appreciated.

As always, hotel in general and our room were very clean and welcoming. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Our breakfasts and evening meals were well presented and very enjoyable. We celebrated a birthday 🎂 and the afternoon tea for 9 people was well worth the money - we were very pleased. All in all a great stay and they also welcomed our dog - big bonus!

Very run down and basically dirty. The bathroom and bedroom were tiny! Threadbare carpet and scruffy. Dogs walked into breakfast😩

Room was lovely and clean and roomy. Staff were very friendly and restaurant food was excellent. Surrounding area for country walks was absolutely lovely. Hotel was about a four minute drive from town but we got parked in a car park very easily.

The inn was beautiful. Very clean. My room had a nice view. Taxi to town easy 8 pounds The meal I had. Trout and potatoes is one of the best I have ever had and I travel all over the world

My stay was perfect as usual. All of the staff are as normal, kind, happy and professional. The room was just as would expect. The food is delightful.

Breakfast was very good, Staff very helpful

Not enough staff at meal times, felt sorry for the waitress that took orders and had to serve the meals all on her own. Evening meal was very poor, pork belly was 60% fat, when complained i was offered 10% off? Room 5 backed onto rubbish bins that were emptied at 6.30 am on monday morning?. Early delivery lorries at back of room at 6.35am on Wed morning?, Hotel is a long way to walk into town along a very busy road. Will not recomend or go back.
