Location for the town centre was really good.

Small room. Poor standard of finish - lots of loose fittings!

Good location, 100 metres outside the historic centre on a quiet street with secure parking. Nice breakfast and very helpful and friendly receptionist.

The wifi code given in the room information/factsheet was completely wrong and out of date. We planned to watch a film after dinner, but as Reception closed at 9pm, there was no-one to ask about the wifi, so we couldn't do anything. The Bathroom door didn't close properly - it was a wooden sliding door that was off the runner. The room (Room One) was on the ground floor with the windows looking directly on to a parking space, so the owners car was 50 cm from our window! So, we wouldn't open the window. There was only black out curtains (no net/voile) so we spent the whole time with the curtains shut and the light on. Next morning, 10 guests on Harley Davidson motorbikes spent 20 minutes revving their bikes, directly outside our window, they were so close, we couldn't hear ourselves speak - even with the window closed. Receptionist was clearly overworked and the facility understaffed. Management problems, not blaming the staff in any way. The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests, so we had to have our breakfast in the "smoking area of the car park" - Not pleasant.

Great location, second stay this year

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a map of the town and showed us how to find the old quarter where there were lots of restaurants. She was very apologetic about the door lock jamming.

The room was tiny for a double - you had to edge sideways down one side of the bed to enter the shower & toilet cubicle. The door lock jammed, so that we were unable to get out of the room in the morning. Staff had to come to our aid and get the door open.

Decoration could do with a face-lift in hall/landing, en suite quite compact!

Fantastic location for a stop over on our way to the alps for a skiing holiday.

The location was great and the staff were pleasant.

We are in our late sixties with heavy bags, but were left to carry them up two floors without a lift, or any help. We would have appreciated a room on the first floor.

Cheerful reception, helpful. The receptionist spoke English (not necessary, but nice). Good value for money. Very well located for the best part of Troyes (from a tourist's viewpoint).

The parking spaces were full so we rented a garage. I needed help to get my Volvo S60 into the garage. The car has the usual parking sensors but no cameras. The garage was so tight that I had to park the car well over to one side so that I could get out of the car! The parking sensors were just on continuous alarm, so were no practical help. If my wife had not been there to guide me in, I wouldn't have made it. The rooms are accessed via a very tight winding and steep staircase. In my opinion they are unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The fire escape route is back the same way! The shower/toilet area is small. I'm 6'1" and 14 stone and physically fit. But anyone much larger or with mobility issues will struggle.

Bed was not great as mattress collapsed a little towards the middle. No kettle in room (though there is normally a hot drinks machine in reception - but not working at this time). bathroom functional but v tiny. room quite dated but acceptable for cost

Good location just a few minutes walk from the old town, large car park, friendly staff. Great for a short stopover.
