Good parking facilities and access to main routes. Decent wi-fi, soft in drinks mini bar, dressing gowns and slippers

Rooms smelled odd, needs a lot of ventilation. Air conditioning installed but didn't work (and yes, we know how to use it), opening the window was not an option due to constant noise of traffic. Dark gloomy corridors. Average breakfast with limited selection. NO restaurant facilities whatsoever on a Saturday night and no help from the staff to offer an alternative. Perhaps dispense with the unnecessary expense of dressing gowns and slippers and spend a little more uplifting the depressing ambience and poor facilities at the weekend!

The breakfast was good, varied and copious. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable.

We didn’t like the decoration of the room (orange and black).

Very nice and friendly staff, Anthony, Jarod and Thomas. We had some issue on the road and arrived at 1am, still Anthony gave us a welcome. The hotel room is well equipped and newly furnished. A supermarket is available just across the street. We had a cozy stay at Angers with Mercure.

We had a very good dinner, well cooked and presented. The service was also very good.

The location was rather poor and the hotel looked very drab.

Breakfast was outstanding by far the best we’ve come across and we are frequent travellers around Europe and further afield. The selection and quality was outstanding (better than we have experienced in other more expensive hotels) and the members of staff on duty could not be more helpful and courteous.

Genuinely nothing. Although we were resident at the weekend we were alerted in advance that refurbishments taking place might impact on our visit…they didn’t. The only difficulty we did have was finding the hotel. Better signage on the road would have helped as we hadn’t visited this area previously.

Renovated top floor room. Nicely fitted out. Staff is very nice. Location is a bit tricky, car needed for visiting.

The staff were very friendly and so helpful. Rose in particular went above expectations to help me with securing taxis from wherever I went in town. while the restaurant was closed during my stay, I could order food and Brice brought it up to the room.

The location is not as convenient if you do not have a car. but it is very close to the Maine Lake which has water applets available. Great place to run as well.

a bit difficult to find

hotel was tired and full of workmen you should have told us that the restaurant was closed and one whole floor had workmen in. having said that the staff were very good, very welcoming.

what can I say any more than what I said before. with builders every where and the best efforts of the staff the hotel was dusty and noisy.

Breakfast choice of good food . Reception staff very friendly . Receptionist Janine updated us with ongoing refurbishments. Look forward to next visit.

Camille! what a darling, she is a star and helps people with a smile! Great help and great hostes. She gives Service with a capital S!

Breakfast is a bit standard, can improve a bit. But its not bad, it has a bit room for improvement.

Camille was particularly helpful with giving us directions and information about Angers. Thomas was polite and attentive during breakfast.

The service provided by the team of Anthony, Megan & Caroline was the best part of my experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Both Janine and Anthony on reception and also Caroline in the breakfast room. We particularly appreciated the room upgrade!

It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open, because the menu looked delicious. However, we were able to eat from and alternative menu, on the terrace which was very pleasant with a well chilled glass of Chablis!

Even better if the carpark was free for guests staying at the hotel. It seemed unnecessarily grasping to charge extra.
