Der var larm fra hovedgaden til langt ud på natten og igen fra meget tidlig morgen.

Nous avons passé une nuit en famille à l'auberge Saint Pierre pour visiter le Mont Saint-Michel. Malgré le prix élevé de la chambre, nous n'avions pas d'attentes particulères, voire quelques inquiétudes... Mais au final, tout s'est très bien passé. La chambre ne se trouvait pas dans l'hôtel même mais dans une annexe plus haut dans le village. il faut grimper un peu pour l'atteindre. Mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé car l'endroit est très joli et aussi plus calme que la rue principale. La chambre était grande, propre, et correctement équipée. L'acceuil s'est aussi très bien passé. Nous n'avons ni mangé ni petit déjeuné au restaurant de l'hôtel (effrayés par les avis), donc nous ne pouvons rien en dire.

Payer le séjour au check-in, alors que le paiement est déjà garanti par une pré-autorisation sur carte bancaire. C'est une pratique assez limite (et heureusement peu courante). Si la chambre ne convient pas, ou si le séjour se passe mal, alors le voyageur perd la possibilité de refuser le paiement tout en partie. Mais le nombre d'hébergements au Mont Saint-Michel est tellement limité que l'Auberge Saint Pierre peut se permettre d'imposer cette pratique :/

was pretty hard for my elderly parents to get to. only amenities in the room was soap and shampoo. given the few shops on the island, a few bottles of water would be nice.

as many have complained, no one read the fine print so including myself, was surprised to be taken to another annex hotel uphill. Wasn't very happy at first but found the rooftop view quite spectacular. The room was comfortable but the little desk was a bit dusty, and there was trash in my little garden. Also, as Mont Saint Michel is very close to nature, I can find small insects like ants and myself was heavily bite by mosquitos. I guess I can't blame the hotel. Plus, the reception was kind to keep my bags but it's only at the counter or in their restaurant. It's safe but not that locker safe, if anyone would fine. I personally was fine though. All in all, as an experienced solo traveller, I've pretty much accepted these especially this is a TOURIST AREA, what can you expect? Just if you're a super clean or anxious, or can't take things easily sort of person, I'd recommend you look through everything when you look for accommodations.

Nothing really unless they raze the entire city and install elevators and escalators and conveyor belts. Climbing and walking in mt set michel us part of the price one pays for the fabulous setting b

Great room with a beautiful view of the sea. Very comfortable and just the right atmosphere for M’ont St Michel.

The restaurant was so-so.
