Hotel Angedras was the perfect base for our time in Alghero. We stayed for 6 nights and hired a car to explore the area as well as Alghero itself. The hotel is a little bit out of the old town, but it was perfect for always having somewhere to park and easily coming and going. At first I was worried we were a bit too far out of the main part of town, however by the end of the stay we’d found some terrific, more local places to eat and drink around the hotel. The walk into the old town along the promenade is very pleasant. We also appreciated the simplicity of the room - it was spacious and comfortable with great aircon, exactly what you want to come back to after a day hiking or at the beach. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was great too.

The walls between rooms seemed to be pretty thin, and the balconies are very close together so if you have the doors open you’ll also get noise from other rooms. This wasn’t a major downside. The area is quiet and with a 24 hour reception we knew that if there was one particularly noisy room we could raise it with the hotel staff.

The hotel was really great. People at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Laura gets a special mention as she was very welcoming. It is a 15 minute walk into town but the walk is lovely along the seashore. Highly recommended hotel.

Personal request would be a kettle in the rooms but otherwise great.

The hotel is very well located, comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly, kind and helpful to us. There was a good choice of food for breakfast, which we could take on the balcony thanks to the sunny weather.

Marina, the desk person was super helpful in making our stay wonderful. she recommended excellent restaurants and guided us in many ways. The hotel itself had just about every convenience you could ask for in a hotel such as parking, good breakfast, place to hang coats, place to unpack suitcases, reading lights, desk and chair, English Channel on tv and great a location with even a balcony.

It’s a perfect place to stay if you are in Alghero The staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is a big plus when you have a full day ahead

Nice staff, great breakfast, solid hotel

I had a problem when I was choosing the dates of my trip and the hotel was really understanding and didn't charge any extra fees. The staff was really friendly even making sure we had a little bit of tea and coffee even if it was 5 o clock in the morning.

I didn't understand why a nice hotel like that would have the tv playing lude, trashy music videos in the lobby. It seemed out of place.

The bed and the pillows are not comfortable at all and very hard (for me it was similar to sleeping on the floor). The bathroom was full of mold. The breakfast was poor.

Very attractive new hotel. Rooms all have balconies. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is beautiful, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we had in Sardinia.

The hotel is 15-20 minutes walking from the historic city center. While the rooms are comfortable, they are a bit on the small side. The balconies are not really useful because there is no furniture on them.

The hotel was very pleasant and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The bikes were brilliant too.

The fact that there is no restaurant in the hotel. The location - it was a little inaccessible without a car. The bikes were great, though.

Unfortunately an item of clothing went missing on the first day here after the room was serviced. Luckily it was only a jumper and not important jewellery or documents as there was no safe in the room

Nice and clean room, good location and taking every precaution regarding Covid. Good breakfast.

Very nice hotel for the price.

The hotel is great and room was nice. I would go for a place that’s closer to the city center next time. Because of Covid I guess the breakfast area was restricted to just a couple of tables what wasn’t enough for the number of guests. We had to wait in line for breakfast for about an hour and they should have given other options like breakfast in the room if there was a space restriction. I asked the staff to help with some tours and they were not really helpful nor willing to help. They weren’t rude but could’ve been nicer.
